Cancelled, still charged - RUN AWAY!!!
Cancelled within cooling off, still charged, even after cancellation
Cancelled 1 month ago due to financial issues, spoken to 4 people. And even after I cancelled, they charged me again. This has been brought to their attention over and over again and I'm being ignored and told "not sure of the process". I can only imagine what they're like for an actual claim. This is close to theivery!!!
UPDATE: It has absolutely not been resolved, I have merely been told the same thing as I was told over 1 month ago "You'll receive your refund within 5-7 days", so no - nothing has changed.

I had the nomad basic plan for 2 months, got sick on trip with pneumonia, took 5 days to treat, cost 500$ in thailand, and i just collected the receipts, xray photos, doctors notes, sent it in, and was fully refunded in a few days! It was an amazing first experience with them.

Scam, they will never pay you
Safety wing is a scam company, they don't list their phone numbers online. They will block you during chats if you ask for their phone number. If you put a single claim in they will not response and act mean when they ask for more information. Also they will not ask upfront for more information. You have to do all the work yourself, even though your paying this company monthly. Horrible customer service, terrible people working in the claims department. They have little idea how a good company operates. Do not use ever. They will just charge you money and take months to pay you for a claim over a few hundred dollars. Just remember karma Safetywing.
