Highly recommend
This is the third or fourth piece of art I've bought through Saatchi. I love the ease of finding pieces that I love, being able to see pricing and make offers, and the smooth transactions. Each piece has shipped promptly with excellent packaging. The quality of the pieces is very good. For someone who wants availability to original art without traveling, Saatchi is a good option.

Poor Service, Additional Costs
My experience was extremely disappointing. At the time of purchase, I paid both for the artwork and the customs charges, based on Saatchi Art's representations that no further customs costs would be payable. However, when the shipment arrived, it was held by customs due to an incorrect customs declaration submitted by the shipper. The declared value did not match the purchase information, resulting in customs penalties, additional charges, and significant delays.
I contacted Saatchi Art to resolve. Not only was it extremely difficult to get hold of anyone, but when I did, I was told that I would have to pay the additional charges myself, that is further customs and penalties for a misdeclaration made either on their end or their shipping partners. There was no meaningful assistance, accountability, or attempt to rectify the situation.
The quality of the photographic prints was shockingly poor, they looked more like low-quality photocopies than professionally produced photographic prints.

Framing not acceptable
Framing not acceptable. Cheap spring clips to hold painting in frame fell out immediately.
Otherwise, painting is quite nice, as expected.
Packing excellent, if a bit excessive.

Avoid Ordering Prints
I ordered $700 worth of prints and they were incredibly poor quality- pixelated, dull, crumpled. If I had taken screenshots and printed at FedEx I could’ve achieved a better outcome. Would not advise anyone considering prints to use this service.

The entire process was excellent!
The entire process, from start to finish, was a wonderful experience. Beginning with the on-line photos of the sculptures I selected, to the delivery of my new acquistions, I could not have been happier.
Although each work selected was created in another country, all 3 works arrived in a timely fashion with each looking exactly as it had appeared on line. But another significant factor is that Saatchi apologetically informed me that one of my sculpture purchases would require an additional import fee and further informed me that once I paid it, Saatchi would reimburse me for that added charge.
True to the company's word--and without my having to request one--Saatchi issued me the refund as soon as I received that particular sculpture. So between offering excellent works of art and providing outstanding customer service, I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Poor communication
Poor communication, delayed shipping, inaccurate dimensions of the work. Once the painting finally arrived it was nice and as pictured aside from being smaller than originally stated. I've had similar instances with Saatchi before. Fun place to look, some nice art, but beware. Saatchi does say they will make things right, but nice if they did that in the first place.
