Yet another company who are stressful…

Yet another company who are stressful to deal with as they only use one way communication. There's no way of interacting with them after you have bought something online and they set the delivery in motion. No way of organising how to receive the goods if you are not in. Hopeless.

Late delivery

I ordered trainers for my daughter that she needed for school. The estimated delivery date allowed plenty of time before school started. They arrived a week after the latest estimated date of delivery and after she needed them, she had to borrow a pair of trainers for the 1st PE lesson.
When I complained they offered me a 5% discount on next purchase as long as I made the order within a month.
Don't bother with them, order from somewhere else.

In response to this review they want to know the order number to verify what happened.

So terrible delivery. Poor customer service and then you get accused of lying. Great company.

Message to Runnerinn:I can't see how to send the order number to you directly. Try looking in the complaints department for complaints about late delivery. If there are too many for you to find me you have too many complaints about your delivery and should do something to fix it!

Super slow delivery

Submitted order on September 2nd now it is 15th and still not arrived and also one item in my order was not available so why have it on the site ?? May have cheaper prices than other sites but don’t expect delivery anytime soon! Very disappointed not sure I will use this site again

They have the wrong conversion from UK…

They have the wrong conversion from UK to EU size and refuse to accept the fact even when I show that ANY other company and Google and AI all agree that EU 44 is NOT UK 9. They now want me to pay for the return. I ordered UK 9. I did not order EU 44. I checked the order AND CORRECTED THEIR MISTAKE but they still sent the wrong size.

Ordered a pay of asics and they took a…

Ordered a pair of asics and they took a while to come so looked on here and saw the reviews and was concerned I’d been scammed but arrived today. Really pleased. Delivery was nearly two weeks but trainers are great!

Highly Recommended

The items I wanted were much cheaper on Runnerinn than on any other site, the ordering was easy and the items arrived 9 days after I placed my order and were exactly as ordered. I was kept informed via the tracking function of where they were on route at all times right up until delivery. So good service, great prices & products exactly as advertised. Nothing to fault really.

ASICS SONOMA 8 SHOE 'NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE'.

The quality of the material used on the 'vamp' is poor and makes the ASICS Gel SONOMA 8 TRAIL RUNNING SHOE I purchased 'NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE'.
A round 7 mm. diameter hole has appeared in the toe area of the vamp of the left shoe after hardly any use.
I purchased a pair of ACICS SONOMA 8 TRAIL RUNNING shoes on 21 May, 2025 and have worn them around 20 times , including running in them on flat grass & pavement on 12 occasions covering around 36 km. in total.
I paid £70.99 for the pair and I expected to use them for at least 2 years given the below average use I make of them.

19 days to arrive

19 days to arrive. All too late. Not notified of the delay. Company refused to cancel the order as they had allegedly been dispatched. Just not good enough. Won't use them again.

And following the response below, I have no issues with the shipping company. The issue is will the trader, who advertised and sold a product that they didn't have in stock, and then didn't inform the purchaser that that was the case. Hence the 19 days. I requested a refund after 14 days but it was refused, as the product had allegedly been dispatched. It appears to have passed through more country borders and customs than I could name, and that renders the tracking information useless. As stated earlier, not good enough.

Faulty trainers – terrible returns process
Trainers arrived with marks. I uploaded 6 photos as requested, then days later they asked for more photos! Absolutely ridiculous. Just send me a returns label so I can send the faulty product back. Awful customer service – avoid. Scam of a company

Warning - Do not order from this company

Do not order from this company. Your order will not turn up and you will fight for a refund. I am currently in a battle with them to get a refund for my trainers that never showed up. They are sending fabricated picture shots of royal mail 'attempts to deliver', saying my entrance is blocked which is simply untrue. Unfortunately now I have to go to trading standards. Do not go anywhere near this company.

Sent the wrong size shoes, very time consuming and costly to get refund.

Runnerinn sent the wrong size shoes. Ordered ASICS Novablast 5 in EU 45, was sent EU 44. Process to get a refund was very complicated and extremely time consuming. Lost money on exchange rate and then received a tax bill with 2nd reminder, so ended up with no shoes and minus about €50! Cannot comment on the shoes, as I never received what I ordered. Reading others' reviews, sending the wrong size or an entirely different item seems like a common occurrence - presumably the company figures that if you make it difficult enough for customers to return goods, then some will give up and decide to keep the wrong product; so if the correct size or item is not available, then they just send something else. Or they just have terrible processes and quality control. Either way, I'm never ordering from RunnerInn or TradeInn again.

Delivery dates to the UK were unreliable

I ordered on the basis of estimated delivery between 12-14th August. Delivery was rescheduled to Monday 18th August morning and the shoes have not been delivered. On vacation and needed the shoes before I travelled back. It's now taken over 7 days and still no shoes.

Excellent

Excellent, this is the second time I have used this company, and I would do so again without hesitation. Quick delivery with tracking and asics were as expected. Pricing was cheaper than anywhere else. I would absolutely recommend.

When I ordered my trainers for a trip I…

When I ordered my trainers for a trip I was going on it stated wednesday as the day I would receive them, it was Saturday, 8 days before i left. The delivery date then changed to Friday, I waited in all day only to find they hadn't been dispatched. They eventually were delivered a week after that, when i was away. I now will have to return which is costing me £11.49. Be aware of these costs and of shipping times, as they can be long. very disappointing. Also you'll need access to a printer, nobody has a printer ? they suggest you ask a friend or go to your local library ? surely they could use a service that is a bit more user friendly and modern.

Be prepared to wait a long time for your order

I ordered a Naked Running belt on 26th July, which at the time of ordering was estimated to arrive within 2-3 days. I got an email to say it had been dispatched on 28th, with a link to Royal Mail, which indicated 31st July delivery - which was longer than advertised, but ok no biggie.

31st came and gone, and now Royal Mail do not have a delivery date, infact says it went to the wrong sorting office and is making its way through the system, although the status on RunnerInn says "The goods have arrived in the destination country". Which begs the question - they are being imported ? at no point did RunnInn indicate this - if I had known I would bought this from someone who is more local.

Anyway its now 7th Aug and I have still not received my order. I have sent a message to RunnerInn , to enquire where it is - that has yet to be replied too.

I dont think these guys are scam, but they do over promise and definitely under deliver, which would make me think twice before I ever order again from them.

UPDATE : 8th Aug - parcel finally arrived, full 8 days after what was originally stated in sellers email.

Conclusion :
I am not one of those people who needs everything now, but I do like to know when it might be delivered - whether thats 2 days , 5 days 1 week. This is where I feel this company really fails. The date of delivery changes almost on a daily basis - infact a few times, didnt even know where it was ! And their support is terrible - I got a reply after 4 days, only to tell me what I already knew.

RunnerInn and its other brands, seems to have a great range of products, and if you dont mind waiting or not even knowing when it may be delivered , this might be for you. Also I feel when things go wrong , their support is lacking - I'm afraid thats a big No No for me

How can this Company have a 4.1 rating…

How can this Company have a 4.1 rating when 1 out of every 4 people gave it a 1 rating. No matter what 25% 1 ratings is very high and thus this Company should be avoided. They answer these reviews with a standard answer (same) on every complaint.
If you purchase from this Company be prepared for a long wait and use paypal or one of 4 pay systems to ensure you can get your money back. Better yet purchase from your Home Country, ie...,Amazon etc.
