Good customer service
My parasol and base from Ruma is great, and was competitively priced. There was a challenge with delivery, in response to which Ruma went the extra mile (literally!) to ensure safe receipt. As this was being arranged all the folk at Ruma were pleasant to deal with and helpful - with a special shout out to Amy.

I was very disappointed with my recent…
I was very disappointed with my recent order. The delivery took far longer than expected, and only part of my order arrived. I am still waiting for the base, and I received no confirmation or update about the delay. This has been a very poor experience.

good customer services if you require them
I had a table delivered but it was damaged, unfortunately. Customer Service sorted the problem, arranged pick up of the damaged table and arranged delivery of another table. sorted within one week, very good service. The furniture (half moon console table) was nice quality

Parasol finally delivered but……
Parasol finally delivered (took forever) and box is damaged and no stone base (which we ordered at the same time. Really poor communication. Have not unpacked yet as awaiting the base but fear the worst given condition of parasol box. Dreadful experience so far.

The products are perfect
The products are perfect. The fact that after returning a parcel about 16th April l have not received a refund yet. Klarna and yourselves have been sent all the return details. Klarna are apparently waiting for confirmation from you before a refund can be given. Please advise many thanks

My parasol experience
Ordered parasol on basis of colours shown on web-site.
On receipt, found it to be a significantly different colour. Contacted Customer Support ("Ross") who could not have been more understanding and helpful. Mutually decided best solution was to return order for full refund. Subsequent problems with arranging for the courier to collect were outside Ruma's control, but were well handled by Ross.
Ruma would have deserved "5*" rating had it not been for the initial problem of colour representation on the web-site.

I bought a huge umbrella and 120kg base… DISASTER...
I bought a huge umbrella and 120kg base from Ruma online, expensive as you would expect. Honestly I have had an epic task to get this delivered correctly however I can report that Ruma, Nigel in particular, have worked so hard to sort this out. It took a long time but we got there in the end. It is how companies deal with issues (which are going to happen occasionally) that sets them apart and he worked tirelessly to get this delivered and set up for us. HOWEVER I am updating my review as of today 27 August 2026. Having had their 2 employees put together this parasol and finally thinking I was done, it has been dropping bolts left, right and center. In dread, I finally contacted Ruma and Nigel. Mark who put it together returned, he sent it off with videos etc. I get a call today to say ah he had actually not put it together properly... I am done with this company. No apology. I want either a new replacement so I can work through the instructions (which I don't have either) and build a new one or a full refund. If their own employee after months of delivery fiasco can't put it together properly, I have entirely lost faith in this firm... avoid...

Beautiful product, very pleased.
Incredibly difficult to get nuts and bolts out of packaging though. Delivery company were awful and have escalated this to Ruma.
All this said, would purchase from the again
