They damaged my house and didn't tell…
They damaged my house and didn't tell anyone...
The delivery didn't happen on the day agreed, even though when selling the dormer they guaranteed that weather was not an issue.
They are wonderful till when you pay them, afterward the service becomes a joke with people laughing at you, hanging up on your face, and having no care for your property or your time.
I'm hoping they will do the right thing and fix it, but considering their behaviour I'll probably be left with the bill.

Excellent experience from the showroom…
Excellent experience from the showroom visit through the cleanup after the installation. WD provided sound advice and commentary during the selection and ordering visits. Bas came onsite twice to measure and then back again when we changed our design. The installation team and crane operate were hard working, meticulous in measurement, levelling. The plumber and interior renovation contractor were impressed with the quality of the dakkapel [dormer]. I am now one of three homeowners on my street that have selected Ruiter in recent months. i recommend your talk to these experts when considering a new dormer.

Unfinished and very poorly done
We chose Ruiter Dakkappel because it is consider a leader company in the sector and we wanted to avoid unpleasant surprise after installation. Unfortunately it is exactly what happen and the dakkappel resulted to be a very poor work. moreover most of the problem cannot be fixed afterwards not even with an additional economical effort and will be looking a poor job also after finishing.
1) The ceiling of the dakkappel is not in line with the ceiling of the rest of the room. this was in the drawing and we didn't note it. I trusted Ruiter to have a good job.
At the time your technician from Ruiter came to take the size of the room he mentioned that it was due to a technical reason. This reason seems to be not understood by any of the company that we have contacted to finish the room. Moreover it seems that in this way the dakkappel does not lie on the beam of the roof.
2) The dakkappel was supposed to be delivered ready to be plastered. This is not the case as the gipsplaat are not in line with the wall and even with an additional economical effort to try to make the wall flat it is impossible to hide the problem.
3) During the installation a plastic pipe that contains electric cables was damaged and the cables are now exposed.
4) The electric cable that connects the electric shutter is trapped between the window and the new beam that has been installed. For this reason it is now not possible to bring electricity to the window without removing all the existing panel of the lop roof and this will cause us an additional cost.
Overall the work was very expensive and is very poorely done. It looks a patchwork.
I would never recommend to select Ruiter to install a dakappel.
