This company was called "Sophie & Marie" Toronto. I had the same issues as the other reviewers. The articles I ordered from what I was led to believe was a Canadian company was a company from China.
The items were nothing like what the pictures or description and I reached out requesting my money to be refunded and I would return their items. The refused, then made low ball 10% - 50% refund. Not at all what their refund return policy was stated on their website. It was a weeks long process but my bank reversed the charges, gave me a credit and this company was out the product they sent me and the money the charged me. Do not order from this scam company.

The company Ruby Mahone Bay is not Canadian at all, but Chinese, and this is a misrepresentation. In their advertisement, they state, “After many wonderful years in Toronto, we’re packing everything up and moving our boutique home to Mahone Bay in Nova Scotia,” which is completely false.

They advertised the cardigan I bought like a knitted Cardigan, but I received a polyester cardigan that has nothing to do with knitwear.

The shipping took 24 days, which is not what is stated in their shipping policy: “After dispatch, delivery typically takes 7 to 12 business days, depending on destination.” It was supposed to take one month, but it actually took 24 days.

If I could rate this experience as a zero, I would. I purchased two dresses that were initially listed at $250. They were on sale for $120 each.

This company is listed as a Canadian company out of Toronto that is moving to Mahone Bay Nova Scotia. Once I ordered the items I got direct shipping information from China.

I then received the items, which were not as described in the photos. They were made out of an extremely cheap, plastic feeling material. They were worse quality than Temu.

I then thought to myself, they have a return policy that guarantees your money back, so I reached out to the company to facilitate a return. I was advised no problem. Here is the shipping address to return the items to (it’s in China) and you need to pay for the tracking option and provided tracking number to them. A trucking parcel from Canada to the China via Canada Post is $94.86.

I regret every single part of purchasing on the website.

Purchased a sweater, looks like hand knit, great picture!
Received a screen printed, acrylic jacket type of thing?
Cannot get money back unless I ship the garment back at my expense!
Live and learn! Hopefully I can save someone else from making the same mistake and ordering from this company.
Beware they are selling under several different names.
