Best fire breathing company in the uk!

From the moment we booked the team were all so nice and very professional even though they were so busy with eurovision!! Amy was our fire entertainer and she was amazing!!! The show was for our restaurant launch and every time she came outside it caused a massive scene with everyone tagging us on social media and the show itself looked incredible! can’t recommend them highly enough!

Ruby Lemon made our party a success!

The wonderful team Lisa sent for my backyard party for my husband's 60th, Lucy, Ashley and Carie, did so much more than I could have hoped for. I hired them as servers to replenish food, clear used plates, etc., and they ended up creating an amazing, beautiful charcuterie board with the cheeses and meats we had bought, as well making creative work-arounds with our serving tables on a VERY windy day. At the end of the party, they packed up all the leftovers, washed and stacked all my serving platters/bowls, and everything else was put in their proper recycling/composting/trash bins. AND they were all so sweet, friendly and very helpful. For once, I actually got to spend time with our guests instead of running around being a crazy host! I HIGHLY recommend them!

Fantastic showgirls!

We hired two showgirls to attend a casino-themed party at our home and they were wonderful! Everyone loved the costumes and the girls were lovely. They took pictures with our guests and passed out champagne. It was the perfect start to the party and we’d definitely hire entertainment with Rubylemon again! :)

Victorian statues

I booked the Victorian statues for our Victorian Christmas Market in November. The service I received from Rubylemon was very professional and everything ran smoothly. The statues were absolutely fantastic and we received lots of great feedback from the public. Highly recommend and would book them again in the future.

Fat shame their employees

This company is just a rebrand of ‘Elless promotions’ who changed their name because they appeared in the news for openly fat shaming their employees on their manager’s group chat.

RUINED OUR WEDDING BREAKFAST

We booked 5 waiting staff over a year ago for our wedding to serve 110 guests our sit down wedding breakfast. I was assured all was well with the booking. A few days before my wedding I see posts on several FB groups in the area seeking staff for an event in the exact location and date. I called Teasha to ask what this was, and she assured me that they book extra staff as a back up to cover illness etc. (I was relieved and impressed) just 30 Minutes before our ceremony they called our planner to say none of them we’re coming. We felt sick. How ridiculous when they could have come clean a few days before and I could have sorted it myself and instead we were left with a devastating outcome. After reading the reviews below - it’s clear that this happens regularly especially with booking waiting staff. They also really didn’t care that they were letting us down and just said that we will not be compensated. Please be warned - don’t book this company!

Advice for Ruby Lemon from a fellow wedding supplier - when you get let down/can’t get staff, you need to get off your backsides and do the job yourself. Whatever it takes.

Bad bad company.

We had the most fantastic glitter/ face…

We had the most fantastic glitter/ face painter for our wedding, it really brought a special edge to the night. Everyone loved it and found the whole experience really fun. I would highly recommend this to anyone else planning a wedding/party. ♥️♥️♥️🙌🏻🙌🏻

I booked this company 3 years ago for…

I booked this company 3 years ago for our wedding. On the day I got a call an hour before the ceremony telling me they didn’t have the staff so nobody would be turning up. The lady I spoke to wasn’t very apologetic and said she was trying to ring round all staff, I asked her to call or message me and I heard nothing. We were left with no waiting staff for our reception!! Do not use they cannot be trusted.

Great service!

Lovely staff who knew exactly what they were doing. No bother at all and was very polite and welcoming especially when making sure I had eaten when handing out canapes for my wedding! Thank you so much ☺️

Awful central team - the staff that did turn up were lovely

Rubylemon provided the staff for my wedding event last weekend. We had booked 3 staff and one mixologist. The only reason this isn’t a 1 star review is that the people who did turn up were amazing. They were professional, friendly and worked so hard to make up for the complete disaster that had gone before. This being that at 11.15am, we received a text saying 2 of the 3 staff we’d hired were broken down and may not make it. We had to call over 25 times to get anyone to answer the phone and they were so unapologetic and really did not seem to care that they were about to ruin our wedding. They offered no real solution or confidence it would be fixed and then refused to answer calls and communicated only with text. We offered to collect at least one of the staff that were in the broken down car, but we’re told no. In the end we had 2.5 staff (one came from another shift to help out and therefore understandably was late and had to leave early). My bridesmaids had to man the bar for over an hour and sort the drinks reception post-ceremony.

I had seen a previous review warning of this type of thing happening, but was told not to worry as it was due to being just after the height of the pandemic and they were now fully staffed, therefore there would be no issues at all. How wrong.

I do not recommend that you use this company - the only one of all the businesses and vendors of my wedding that was anything other than amazing and caused a lot of undue stress.

Some money was refunded automatically after the event, but not one apology has been offered or any better explanation given. Truly awful service from the central team that just seem to want to take your booking then see whatever happens on the day.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I used this company for an event I had recently. I needed to waitresses. They charge me £350 for a five hour stint.

The girls turned up dressed appallingly, inappropriately, wearing awful slipper like shoes. They were in strappy tops not a white shirt.

They had no idea what they were doing, at one point at the busiest time of service I found the girls sitting by the car having a cigarette and chatting. When I challenged them and said we need to keep working they were very rude.

When I contact the company to tell them about the bad service they simply gave me £50 back. We know the girls didn’t receive the rest of that money.

they were unable to follow instruction, I was briefed my team very well before we start a job. They were on service duty and messed this up by giving enormous portions at the beginning.

Avoid this company with an enormous bargepole. Basically an agency that sub recruits staff From companies where they have never met the staff, the staff I have not been through any training or protocol.

Hugely disappointing and they ruined my event. I ended up having to refund the customer as there were complaints about what they were wearing and their attitude.

I have never been more embarrassed

RubyLemon ruined our wedding

This company ruined what should have been the best day of our lives. The staff we hired never showed up to our wedding. Apparently their driver had an "emergency". They kept telling us they would be late until they finally said they weren't coming. No contingency plans seemed to be in place. I don't understand why they needed a driver and couldn't just use trains/taxis like most of our guests. It was possibly the most stressful experience of our lives. What a vile company you are.

Excellent communication throughout the whole process and the office were really flexible and quick to respond. The two performers did a great job and provided great entertainment, stilt walking and fire eating - very enjoyable!
