Rubi EVO 650 - Great value and great cuts
Great bit of kit, but out the box it didn't cut straight so had to adjust the guides. Downside is this cutter could do with a bigger side guide for when you want to cut strips of large tiles. I also bought the Rubi pro blade, but this turned out not to be true so as you cut it pulled out of line and damaged the bed. The blade that it comes with is very good (and you can cut bevels) so save yourself £50. The whole process is pretty clean, but the hollow bed could do with a rubber mat or some sort of sound dampening on the underside to suppress the noise as it echos in the metal tray. Nice clean cuts, no chips and easy to set up and pack away.
Would have been 5 stars had the blade been true and not damaged the bed.. Have to add the Rubi after sales has been 1st class. Old school level of service . Real people at the end of the phone / email and an engineer who helped assess why it was cutting out of line. This is the 2nd Rubi product I've bought it 6 months and I would definitely buy again from them.

i have purchased a variety of tiling brands over the years but i have found rubi to be better on comparable products, solid built and haevy duty, i have tile cutters and wet saws and blades from rubi and they havent let me down yet.
