Consumers should check if RSA royal sun alliance Or intact insurance are involved do not purchase their policy’s . They are the underwriters using many high street brands like Tesco to sell their policy’s like pet insurance . Best do not insure and save this money yourself ! Never buy insurance again unless law bidding !
Ok 2 claims
First one lost ring was dealt with swiftly
Second claim of dust stuck behind tv screen! Was declined as wear and tear of LED Panel! I paid for old for new! To be told by Ben claims adjuster we can’t do that! So what was I paying for?
Also it’s obviously “Accidental Damage” caused by fan on fire below tv! Not wear and tear and the marks don’t look the same for this kind of damage!
So despite the facts, I'm having to argue and provide evidence of the two different kinds of damage 😱😱😱
I'm disabled and stress makes me physically and painfully ill 😷. These really is not acceptable! I've paid for years to be covered and nos first time I need to make claims, we get insurance cancelled and claim refused! Not acceptable and I will be complaining to the highest authority I can.
I would also mention the claims handler Ben was rude and blatantly mansplained the entire conversation! I'm disabled not stupid

Then they rebook me again for another four hours when he arrived, he said sorry I can’t tell you to the garage because you have to book the car with a Renault and I can’t find a fault because his car is a little bit complicated

As I’ve stated on leisure days insurance who I bought RSA insurance through! I’m being passed about ! One saying one thing then passed onto another who says different! My static was storm damaged and was told looks like behond economical repair. It’s soaked through and side panels blown off exposing it to rain and damp. Probably even got vermin in by now. Now there saying it can be repaired but I’m not having none of it as I took extra out on my policy NEW FOR OLD !! Even though it’s 22 yrs old! My family have been looking into this and been told even if they put a new floor in the damage is already done as the damp and mould will already be creeping up the side panels and is very hazardous to our health ! I’m waiting to see what they say next ..my son has been onto a Assesor to go and inspect after Xmas to write a report ! Although I’ve already had a Assesor out who said behond economical repair ! Now with there being another windy day there it has caused more damage!! It was posted on a facebook group showing this ! I am not giving in and was shocked when I read the reviews on trust pilot about RSA. The stress and sleepless nights are making me ill. And they wonder why so many people take their own lives !! It’s totally unacceptable.I will post an update later.good luck everyone who’s having the same issues with RSA.

It’s taken battle upon battle with RSA, we had no choice but to involve the ombudsman. *****42 WEEKS LATER ***** we have eventually got a payout. It does not cover all costs and expenses by any means!!! ⛔️
⛔️ RSA please DO NOT put one of your crass comments on this review saying “we are sorry youve had a bad experience, please call us. For 42 WEEKS what the hell do you think we’ve been trying to do????? and and if you were listening you would have resolved it much sooner!!! ⛔️ ‼️‼️‼️
In the time it’s taken to deal with our claim we have had 2 monarchs, 3 prime ministers and our friend has conceived, gone full term with her pregnancy and given birth to a bouncing baby boy‼️
