Rose X-lite Team 3100 2016 Model

I bought my Rose X-lite Team 3100 in 2016. It was an amazing comfortable, responsive and lightweight bike. I had many hours of amazing cycling with this bike. This experience was curtailed as the frame developed a crack about 10 cms away from the bottom bracket of the non-drive side chain stay. This bike had never been in a collision. I took good care of it and it had always been ridden in fair weather, yet this happened. Thankfully Rose replaced the frame in 2018. I was most disappointed to have history repeat earlier this year. I was in the process of disassembling the bike to take it abroad two days later. I am staggered this could happen twice in the same place on two similar frame sets. I was then forced into taking another bike to Mallorca at very short-notice. I contacted Rose upon my return to be informed the six year warranty had expired. The warranty started in 2016 upon the purchase of the first bike. The warranty did not reset upon receipt of the second frame. At this point I might add I know of at least two manufacturers who provide a lifetime warranty on their frames. Clearly this frame set has a flaw in the design or the carbon used in that location

On this occasion, I have found the after sales service to be beyond woeful. I have asked for Rose's complaints procedure; the general managers and German bicycle manufactures ombudsmen contact details or a similar organisation to no avail. Consequently, I am using this platform to warn others of a potential risk given my experience. I cannot believe I am the only customer this has happened to. Furthermore, I consider this matter to be a safety issue. Again, this did not appear to be a concern for the individual I had contacted on several occasions. Given the aforementioned reasons I feel let down by Rose. I now have a bike which is not safe to ride. Perhaps this review on this platform will ensure Rose takes this matter seriously.

You have a 6 year frame warranty from the purchase of the bike and this is not extended by replacing the frame.
Since you purchased your bike in 2016, the frame is no longer under warranty, so we can already reject this and there is no need to send it in.
Even the free frame exchange from January 2018 is already covered by the warranty if we had charged you for it at the time.
We also cannot offer you frames for rim brakes with costs, so you do not need to send the bike in, especially since you will only incur costs for shipping.

Awful service

I recently ordered a rose the Bruce 2, when it arrived after 9 days. I took it out of the box. and saw that the front fork was severely damaged. I immediately contacted them via the email as indicated in the faq. However, the contact via email was terrible. no clear answer to my questions and it took a very long time before I received an answer. After about 3 weeks my bike still wasn’t registered for return. So I gave them a call to make the appointment. After some difficulties on phone they finally scheduled the pick up date. I received the verification in my email by both rose and the freight company. However on the specified date no one showed up at all to pick up the bicycle, I gave them a call to let them know they probably made a mistake. they could not immediately schedule a new appointment with me. Instead they had to get in contact with the freight company. they could not give me an estimate of how long this would take. But I fear the worst. It's okay to make mistakes, but only if you make sure you fix them reasonably. They do absolutely not earn the “badge of great service” stated on the website. If I could give 0/5 stars I would.

Still waiting

This is an ongoing experience with Rose Bikes. I placed an order on 8 May. Today is 22 May and I am still waiting for the goods to arrive.
Blame the shipper, while I ordered the goods from YOU.

Absolutely amazing service by Rose…

Absolutely amazing service by Rose Bikes! Ordered the Rose Ground Control 3 from 2023 for 1999 eur - a price that can't be beaten for the components you get - only the best stuff!
The customer service is nothing short of amazing and super fast - they respond within two hours the same day and can answer all your questions.
My bike came for about 10 days or less. The package was a bit beaten, but the bike was intact, in perfect condition. It had a bigger seatpost installed, but that issue was solved for a day and for about 3 days I have the new seatpost. There was some damage on the package and on the paint of my fork, but they offered a generous refund, which we are working on at the moment.
I really can't say how amazed I am by this service! And I really can't believe all the negative feedback they have here. Don't believe it people.
This is top notch company with the best customer service I've experienced to date!

P.S. All perfect. The promised refund was issued, all good. Thanx Rose bikes!

Tubus rear rack to Canada

I ordered a Tubus rear rack. I am in Canada and it took quite awhile to get here and there were issues with how the address was entered because it was coded for Europe. But the price was fantastic, as is the rack. I have ordered from Rose before and didn’t have any address issues so will pay more attention next time to how i enter it.

Recently purchased the new Reveal Al…

Recently purchased the new Reveal Al 105 Oct 2023.
for a Road bike under €2000 it is fantastic value and having rode it for a few weeks it feels and looks great.
The frame is dark caramel colour and I'm an obsessive on small details and I couldn't pick even the most minor of negatives on workmanship.
Way more than an entry level bike for sure. Already have a Carbon rim brake bike which is lighter but this feels just as good.

Brought my first Rose..

Brought my first Rose... Hardly could be better! The shipping was 'good enough'; 10 days with 2 weekends in the middle from Germany to Portugal. The support was 'good enough', also. The bike is a gem...
Highly recomended, and not my last Rose, that's for shure.

My crankstel broke

My crankstel broke, so that got it out of my bike and sended it to the reseller. Rose said it would only take like 2 or 3 weeks. I am now already waiting 6 weeks and it's not back yet. The service is really bad to be honest.

Terrible experience - haven't received - think about if there is any issues with the bike and the warranty.

Terrible experience, I came from another bad situation but this one shows that they weren't worry about a customer.
They were fast to charge my CC, one month before but not fast to delivery the time, either to communicate creaky with me.
15 tickets opened in 3 weeks - no accurate answers. Poor customer service and vague information.
Several calls, no solution only incorrect information
Tracking ID wrong and without update - the item stayed in KN for 8 days and with no access to the real information.
Then the item arrived 2 days to the regional warehouse (100 kms) for two days stay there because KN did not provide the information required. At this point, KN provided the real tracking ID.
They went on holidays like half day, and who care about customers and his money? nobody.
Actually, there was a Bike support manager that was requesting to stop requesting because they were looking for a solution - delivery attempt to be done on Sunday - when is close and there no possibility to do it. The same day that I should go on holidays - and that they were informed with 3 weeks of notice. So, even paying around with my time, money and patient.
I don't recommend both companies at all, because they did not show their Accountability, responsibility, professionalism and respect vs a customer.
They got the money (3647 euros) and keep the bike the time that for them were good enough with phrases - everything has a delay - clear example of Efficiency and high level of management.
Good to have the money, the bike and do not provide accurate information through the formal channels.
I can't immagine how terrible would be the customer service for a guarantee request - stay as far as you can

After your answer:
You were playing around my holidays period - you were informed and Udo offered a delivery attempts WHEN IT WAS CLOSE on SUNDAY (they day that I should leave) - so you do not take serious your customers - Udo and Ivana should not be working with customers or logistics
Please give me your legal entity address. You do not specified in your T&C that it is a pre-sales.
I cancelled the order due to unprofessional and immature behaviour - you offered me 200 euros in order to take the bike by my self- now say the truth!

Better use Paypal as processes are bad

They try their best but that is unfortunately not enough! Good thing is that they do not rip you off intentionally bad thing is that processes are so bad... I ordered something and delivery got postponed several times over months. Finally, I told them to cancel and ordered somewhere else. Almost a year later, they charged my credit card and I got the stuff. They told me to send it back and then I get my money back. What I got was a pdf credit note but no money. I had to claim it back through my bank. This kind of stuff keeps happening. Learning is to order with Paypal so you get your money back quicker there.

The assortment is very nice though.

ROSE Backroad 2022 with crack and warranty refused

Hi guys! I have 2 warranty claims with my ROSE BACKROAD.
1) I bought ROSE BACKROAD 62 cm bike 23.04.2022 and it was with seatpost defect. After one month of texting with ROSE, I bought a new seatpost and sent them the old one, after a month ROSE return me the money. All is good with this situation, only very long responses from the ROSE.
2) After seatpost was changed I ride on my bike 200-300km and noticed a little crack on a top tube. In January I text to ROSE and they told me that I need to send them a bike. Okay. Delivery time was 3 months!!! And now ROSE told me that this is not a warranty and they can't do a final check, because I sent them not a whole bike, just a frameset. Now I paid 40 euros to return my broken bike. Probably I need to wait another 1-3 months to receive my broken bike back.

I will never advise anyone to buy ROSE again and I will never buy a bike from their brand again.

Edit 1 - 20 days later since I paid for return, no information about delivery status, no track number, no information about my bike location .... Did I get robbed or what?
