Genuinely the scum of the people earth. Faking a business and allowing orders, and disputing charges.

I left a review before but wanted to update. Despite all the ignored messages and unfulfilled orders, the company disputed my chargeback with the bank!!! So they definitely know exactly what they’re doing. Shady!!!

Trying to get a delivery date very poor communication. Weeks of trying but still no delivery of food or a refund . This is on hoing.
They do not deserve a one star!

The website is simply open still to scam people out of money. You will never receive your order or a response from the company. Had to request a refund through my bank

I never received my order. The money was taken from my account. I emailed 3 times asking whereabouts my order was and did not receive any response. I had to take the matter up with my bank and still nothing from Root kitchen. I think it must me a scam!!!

I have received no food, despite me sending lots of emails i have had no response. They took my money which i cant afford to lose

Ordered a week's worth of vegan meals to treat myself as I've been really struggling with my mental health while studying and I thought this might help. Was scheduled to arrive today and the money has gone from my account. It hadn't arrived by 4pm so I logged into my account - the order has been wiped "there are no orders on your account". Messaged them via webchat, no response, so I sent them an email and then looked them up on here. WOW - a whole year's worth of complaints! Looks like the company folded some time last year but rather than closing the website and doing so properly, they just started ghosting their customers but still taking payment for orders!!! I wonder how many people they have stolen money from!!!
I called my bank to dispute the sale so I should hopefully get my £33 refunded but apparently can't report the company?? That "if enough people dispute sales the company will get flagged up & investigated for fraud" but that doesn't seem to be the case if they've been robbing people blind for the best part of a year and the site is still in the top 3 search results on google!

No delivery date, two emails ignored so far. Absolutely nothing to recommend this service on this evidence...

I wish I would have read reviews before buying. My food hasn’t arrived, I sent them 3 messages and still waiting on a reply.

Disgraceful service no communication sent numerous emails without response .. tried face book what’s app and emails without a single reply and waiting to get a refund! Stay away from this Mickey Mouse company!

Five days after ordering and still no food delivered or any update on when it will be shipped. No replies to my emails for an update. Don't waste your time or money with this company!

I have created an account solely to write this review. Do not order from here. I don’t think they exist anymore but will still take your money. I had to get my credit card company to refund me as the food never showed. They never delivered anything. Do not order please.

I can't rate this product as it hasn't arrived. There for I haven't had an 'experience', at least of the food on offer to comment on.
