Really happy with the work

Adam was brilliant and really easy to deal with. I had a few questions about the work that was being carried out and Adam called me and explained it all through to me which was very helpful and reassuring. Start to finish was 10/10 cannot fault them at all.

I dealt with Adam who provided us with a quote for our new flat roof. We decided to go ahead after hearing good things locally about his company and certainly happy we do. Everything went seamlessly and the company has been fab! I would happily recommend Adam and his company to others.

Highly recommended

Our balcony had been a problem since we bought our house from new. Various builders have attempted to fix to no avail.
Adam responded quickly and approached the problem from a different angle. The work carried out by Marios was first class. He worked very hard also studiously cleaning up after he’d finished.

Unfortunately, this is a fake review.

This is simply untrue and not how we do business. I believe a local competitor has put this review online as they have seen how well we have been working for a number of years in the area.

If this is a genuine review, then please upload any supporting evidence such as an invoice or emails from us. However, I am very very sure that this is a fake review.

I should also add that none of our customers would need to chase us with any after-care issues. In likely event there was any issues we would be the 1st to rectify them with no questions asked.

Did the job professionally

Needed a deteriorated chimney fixing , that was causing water to seep into the ceiling. Adam had good reviews, but the main thing, he was the only roofer who asked to see the problem inside the house. Job did take a long time but it looks fixed. Professional approach and work.

This company just wasted my time!!!!!!!

What a waste of my time and empty promises!
I made an appointment with Adam on 1st August, I received this confirmation:

Hello Sharon.

Great news - your free home visit with Rooftola is all set. I will be meeting you on Friday, August 1, 2025 11:00 AM.

If you have any questions or need to adjust your appointment, feel free to reach out. We're here to help.

I waited in all morning, told a friend I couldn’t meet her because I had an appointment. But no one turned up! No one answered my phone calls or messaged me. I was so annoyed I left negative feedback on here. Adam messaged me this:

Hi Sharon

I have just seen your negative review. However we have you booked in for next Friday.

After looking through the online booking for I have seen there has been an error.

This week would not be possible as I am in France.

Please let me know a convenient time that works for you and I will get your gutter repair carried out free of charge.

This is a small token of apology due to the mix up here.

The booking system is digital via the website.

I am back in the UK Wednesday and can give you a call then if that works for you.

Again my apologies. _________________

So I took my negative feedback off Trustpilot and put it down to a genuine mistake and thought I would take them up on their kind offer to repair my gutter. Since then I have had no replies to my messages asking for dates he can do. I’m not wasting any more time with this company!

Just to be clear - So far we have not met you nor carried out any works for you.

On our part, this review only shows parts of our interactions with you and not all.

I have replied to your emails and Louise has followed up on your messages with no reply to her last message, last weekend. I have also tried to call you myself. I must admit this review did come as a surprise as our intentions have been clear in trying to help you.

Initially you made an appointment through our website. This appointment was incorrectly confirmed by Louise. The date in question was during a period when I was away on a family holiday meaning I could not attend on that particular date. I explained this was an error and openly made you aware of this, with no excuses or false information.

I have been very much accepting and apologetic to your experience. I also understand how this scenario could have a knock on effect with your planning.

As a token of apology I offered to repair your gutters for free. There was no obligation on my part to do so, however it felt very appropriate for me to offer you this. I am customer service driven, and want all of my customers to have the best experience with us. When things are perhaps not so right, I need to actively help get things resolved in the best way possible, this being a good example of that. This offer still stands for the free gutter repair and we would be more than happy to help you.

Whilst it’s rare we receive negative feedback - we understand things don’t always go to plan. We will continue to use all experiences as learning curves, ensuring the same issue doesn’t happen again.

I have run my company for many years and will always ensure I do the right thing for my customers. For me, it’s not solely about financial gain, it’s about doing the right thing and treating people respectfully.

Just to reiterate our offer for the free gutter repair still stands and would welcome you to take us up on this.

Adam and the team were so helpful

Adam and the team were so helpful, they made everything so simple and easy. It really was a relief because I have no idea what I’m doing. The quote was very competitive, I got 3 and this was by far the cheapest. Very happy with the work no issues whatsoever.

Great experience form Adam

Great experience form Adam. We had our pitched roof replaced in 2018 and we have been extremely happy with the results. We asked Adam to come back for a gutter clean this year and again fantastic service. Thank you all. Will certainly be using again.
