WARNING TO TRUCK BUYERS – PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH ROCKET TRUCKS
I contacted this company regarding a 2022 Volvo VNL64T760. During the phone conversation, I was asked to pay a $2,000 upfront deposit just to hold the truck.
After conducting my own research, I noticed several serious concerns:
I could not independently verify the company's physical dealership or office at its advertised Texas address.
The phone number's area code does not match the state where the company claims to operate.
The advertised truck prices appear significantly lower than comparable trucks listed by other established dealers, with differences of approximately $30,000–$40,000 in my comparison.
The truck listing did not initially provide a verifiable 17-character VIN.
I was asked to make an upfront payment before I could independently verify the truck's ownership, location, and documentation.
MY ADVICE: DO NOT SEND ANY DEPOSIT OR MAKE ANY PAYMENT UNTIL YOU HAVE INDEPENDENTLY VERIFIED THE COMPANY AND THE TRUCK.
Please verify the dealership's business registration, physical location, truck VIN, title, and ownership before proceeding.
