Scam

The hole time filling in the questionare i felt like this site was off a bit. After the submition i did get a call to book time to talk to a doc. Prior day 15min before i got call cancelled, rebook for few hours later then min before got text cancelled. My thought on this they get your info your heath care number and take you on a ride so they get paid from alberta heath services. It screams all day long as a scam, and last if your spoken english is poor you should not be a receptionist...

Reoccurring cancelations

Ive had amazing experiences with Rocket Doctor! But something has changed with the professionalism… 3 cancelled appointments and 1 missed appointment; they didn’t attempt to schedule, rather no show. No cancellation or no call.

Today, I attempted to book appointment, advising my pharmacy is closed and leaving out of town tomorrow. Appointment was scheduled then cancelled within 30 minutes. Wanted to bring this to the attention of rocket doctor as this is reoccurring pattern. I wish no one has to experience these ongoing issues and seek for clarity for future patients.

doctor not show up for the scheduled…

doctor not show up for the scheduled appointment, even if I received confirmation.
Try to reach out to the agent for a reschedule or refund, the call never get through.
Till this point I still did not get my money back.

Would recommend, 5 stars.

I requested an appointment in the afternoon and about an hour later someone called to schedule an appointment for me. Within minutes I had a time for the next day. The doctor called within a couple minutes of the appointment time and efficiently addressed my concern. Easy. I would definitely call them again. Thank you RD.

Very frustrating! Look elsewhere for service!

I was so happy when I heard about this virtual doctor service since our local clinics don't offer Sunday appointments anymore. But this clinic It's very loves to cancel doctor's appointments. Don't waste your time!!!

My son had an appointment in Feb with Dr. Ewan Roddie, Alberta. Great bedside manners. We give him a rating of 5.

However, When I book my appointment last month, the coordinator spoke me with a doctor. After I waited up to 30 minutes for each of the four appointments. Then the coordinator s rebooked me three other times and the same thing happened.

Yesterday, my daughter was supposed to have an appointment at 3:00 pm. We logged into the video call by 2:45 pm. At 3:05 we got a text that it was canceled.

It's so frustrating trying to see a doctor when they keep canceling last minute with no regard for anyone else's time but theirs.

Been hours since I was told to expect a…

Been hours since I was told to expect a call and wait by the phone. Could hav egone to the clinic and back by now instead of sitting here like a teenager waiting for a friend to call, thanks for wasting my time. I will tell everyone I know to avoid you people like a plague.

The admin are insane

The admin are insane. The doctor was a great physician, very thorough. The first time. Everything after was crap. The customer care is non existent. The docs show up to appointments when they feel like it and they tell you there was an emergency. Super arrogant. But there are absolutely no ways to reach anyone. No on to act as a "receptionist" and tell you doctor is going to be late. The last call was when I was yelling at an admin person about something and said we will go see someone else (I promise I am not a Karen. They are bizarre.) They then called the phone of my 14 year old minor niece at 11 pm that night (a Thursday) to see if she wanted a medical appointment that night. What the actual F!? Then when I pointed out how they have zero customer service skills and how creepy and inappropriate that was the lady would not stop talking. So I screamed at her to never phone that child again and hung up. This can be a public notice that I did this in case they contact us again. So freaking weird and creepy.

Also rocket doctor, whoever is replying to your reviews all over the internet is going to get you sued. You cannot even confirm someone is a patient let alone the date they attended or who else they booked for. Super unprofessional. You might even actually be violating patient rights. Let this serve as notice of that too. You guys have the worst customer service I have ever seen. Absolutely no critical thinking skills.

Undisclosed phone requirement denied me care

I paid for a virtual appointment specifically because I have telephonophobia, a recognized anxiety disorder that makes phone calls impossible. Nowhere on Rocket Doctor's website does it state that a phone call is required before receiving care. I was only told this after I had already paid.

When I raised the issue, I waited several hours for an initial response. I followed the instructions to reset my password, but never received the e-mail. After following up, I waited another twelve hours to hear back again. The resolution offered was a refund taking three to five business days and a "we'll note it." No accommodation was made, no alternative was offered.

If you have any disability that affects your ability to use a phone, be aware that this service may not actually be accessible to you despite presenting itself as virtual care. The phone requirement is not disclosed anywhere before you pay.

They took my money and ran....

Update… they contacted me and apologized plus refunded my payment. Hopefully I was a one off no contact mess up. I am happy now, but never tested their service due to the lack of contact.

Don’t do it

First of all their first phone call was at 12:00 AM to set up the appointment. Then they called the next day to set up the appointment after my prompting. Then they didn’t know the time zone that I was in. Then we waited an hour for a doctor to come online and no one arrived. I would say this is probably the worst time consuming business I’ve ever dealt with.

Don’t waste your time

Twice in a row I had an online appointment where my medication was never sent to the pharmacy. The first time, December 2025, they apparently had the fax number wrong and it took me almost a week to get it sorted out. The second time, February 2026, I confirmed the pharmacy and fax and it was still not sent. I sent multiple emails following up and called the help line daily just to be completely ghosted. Today rocket doctor finally called me and I was told “I’d need another appointment for them to send medication to the pharmacy since it’s been so long”. This was the most frustrating and unprofessional experience I’ve ever had with a clinic, and if you are in need of urgent medication they will not follow through or follow up if they do not send the prescription. I will never book with rocket doctor ever again and I suggest you save the money they take from our healthcare system for the appointment and give it to a local walk in doctor.

Really terrible customer service

Appointment went fine and started only 20-minutes later than scheduled. All I needed was a requisition for an x-ray, which was provided by email after the appointment.
I could not open the password protected PDF requisition using the password provided so I emailed customer service/support and the PDF was sent a second time, with different instructions for the password (both passwords were versions of birthdate). Repeated attempts to open the second PDF with various versions of the password failed on both phone and laptop.
I’ve now sent 2 or 3 more emails over last 24 hours asking for this issue to be resolved, with no follow-up for more than 24 hours.
So, about 36-hours after my appointment, I’m no closer to getting an x-ray than before I started. Extremely frustrating on the customer service front to have to play protracted email tag wondering when or if I’ll ever hear from anyone. At this point, the experience has been a waste of my time (and a waste of MSP $) and I’m thinking I’ll have to make an appointment elsewhere.

4 hours after receiving the below response to my review I have heard nothing from Rocket Doctor despite my extremely solvable (at their end) problem opening a requisition.

12 hours later and still no follow-up on the empty platitudes and promises made in response to my negative review.

I eventually got a response with a pdf I could open about 4 days after my appt. No explanation provided. A few days after that, I received the response below claiming that they could not find an appointment associated with my name—which appears to be their standard response to negative reviews. My review stands and I am happy to provide further info so that my review can be verified. If Rocket Dr needs more info from me to prove that I had an appointment they should provide a means for me to contact them to do so in their response.

Hello? Is anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me...

The consult was great, would have said 5 stars at that point. Since then my prescription has not shown up at my pharmacy. was told it would be faxed right away. nothing yesterday, nothing today. Try to contact RD to find out what was going on. No answer on phone, no answer on chat, no response from 3 emails sent. Nothing on web portal. New appointment button doesnt work. i have no idea how to move forward.

Update - they responded to this review quickly and sorted out the issue quickly. Thanks, up to 4 star from 2, will be a 5 with a good experience next time

Tried to schedule 2 appointments

Tried to schedule 2 appointments. Neither time a doctor called me. I waited for 30 minutes. There was no contact number to complain. No one got back to me.

Don't know what the point of this is. It's a scam.

Notice that only now once I complain at a 3rd party site do they take me seriously. What a joke of a company.

Don't you dare report this as spam I told you to delete my account so you no longer harass me.

pulled muscle in my back, rocket doctor saved me

I had pulled a muscle in my back and my back seized up on me making it difficult to do anything, standing, walking, even crawling. I needed a doctor but was unable to get out my house to my family doctor, I then remembered Rocket Doctor that a co-worker previously used. Came in very handy, fast, easy and extremely convenient, I got exactly what I needed and am now on the mend. Couldn’t have got where I am without ticket doctor. I highly recommend

Not the best online experience

This company is the worst of all online doctors that I have used. If you miss your appointment, you have to redo everything all over again. On top of that they call you really late after 5 PM to do your intake. When the doctor prescribed your medication. They don’t send it in at all for some reason so it is impossible to reach out to anyone in the customer service line because there is none, really. So I recommend you to go to urgent care instead of using this company.

I sent them 2 emails and no replies and left many voice messages to the only 2 options that they have.

When I was with cvs health online they were much easier to navigate and quicker.
