Top expensive for it's quality.
Software is really bad und hard to use.
No options using RGB Synchronisation.
Customer Support is just an insult, if your mouse breaks before the warranty is over - you get... Nothing - this happened twice. More than enough to NEVER EVER touch anything from this company. German Quality with a cheap Chinese heart.

A new review of Roccat Kone XP mouses.

I have three of them purchased one by one.

1st is cable Rocatt XP. The wheel button during scrolling down scrols up ones in two scrolls. Even more. Its super annoying while browsing, mentaly braking while playing games.

2nd another cable Rocatt XP. freezes mouse pointer while movin. You can also mentaly breakdown while browsing and playing games.

3rd is XP Air and that one doesnt recharge.

in total its about 300 eur down the drain

Maybe you are asking why you keep buying this mouse. I dont care about flashing lights. I care about buttons and it fits in to my hand perfectly. Thats why I keep believing in to find the one that works ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Velocity One poor product and customer service

I bought a velocity one yoke 3 years ago. It went wrong in the first 6 months. They replaced it. I used it for 6 months then didn’t play with it again until just before MSFS 2024 came out. It worked at first when 2024 launched and then the screen on the yoke became stuck on the FMD start up screen. I couldn’t get to any of the menu items so cannot change plane types. I wouldn’t be able to put it into update mode for example. Long story short, after 2 years use Turtle beach say they do not repair and I will have to buy a new one and they will give me 25% off. This is not good enough. I have also bought a velocity stand, rudder peddles and a flight stick. So much (not) for customer loyalty then. Beware, they go wrong and when the warranty is up they offer you almost nothing but to pay again.

worst product i ever used

new software rolled out, nothing bad, but it made it so i cant configure old macros, i cant uninstall the old software for some reason. is very buggy causing random click holding, macros not working or a different macro working, and much more. would never recommend, way better products out there

Once again my mouse packed up for no reson, never again will I waste my money on roccat.
I have bought three mice over the years and all have failed within two-three years consideroing the price this is very poor

Roccat Kone XP AIR mouse

First of all, the hardware is excellent. Well designed and innovative with great ergonomics. I know from the many mice I've had that it's difficult to make a tilting mouse wheel that does not occasionally give errors on middle press - but so far this one is doing great! Hats off to the designers and engineers.

However, the support staff are pitiful. If you want to waste your lifetime messaging what appears to be a chatbot, then please go ahead, but you'll find Chatgpt will give you a better experience.

Even though I've told Roccat twice that action X is possible with the mouse, she/it keeps on parroting that it's not possible. I could send over a video showing what happens, but then she/it will just say I've edited the video ... or more likely simply ignore what I'm saying and repeat the same old nonsense.

Just to rub salt into the wound, at some point they scrap the conversation history in the email reply. I guess this is to make it harder for you to point out "Look. I already told you this twice! Just see below!" Honestly, words fail me, with behavior like this.

It's pointless. I've been here before with other companies and I know that now is the time to give up, try forget about the time you wasted on them, and just adapt to what you've got. You definitely won't get any help from them.

Oh, and Roccat, if you're reading this, please don't tell me to respond to the last email about this. I'm not wasting any more of my life on that useless thing. If you want me to respond, give me a new email address.

Amazing support with real people from the start!

Had to contact Roccats customer support to replace a faulty scroll wheel on a mouse I bought from their online store.

The customer support was quick and easy, with no hassle and a very quick troubleshooting and I got to talk with an actual person from the very beginning.

Instead of having me jump through a lot of hoops, they quickly acknowledged my attempts at fixing the issue an sent a new mouse to me.

It was a breath of fresh air compared to other companies exceptionally bad support.
