I had my first driving lesson with Rob today! He made me feel very comfortable and made sure I was happy with the pacing of the lesson. I really loved that he was curious to know my preferred methods of learning, which shows that he really wants the best for his students. I am so happy to have started my driving journey with Rob as my instructor!

Amazing instructor, made lessons easy and understandable. Gave me extra confidence and motivation for the test which was easy for me to pass!

Rob has been absolutely amazing , he is so supportive and wants the best result for all his clients , he is so passionate for first time learners to past. I would highly recommend him to everyone

Robb Watts from Red was the most supportive driving instructor I could have asked for. He believed in me even when I thought it was not possible and gave me the confidence to pass first time! He's constant support is what pushed me to continue with my driving when I had so many doubts about my ability he showed me that I was capable and that ultimately got me a pass on my first try. Robb was very professional but he has a way to comfort even the most anxious of people like you are learning with a friend and I can not thank him enough I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I’ve been working with Rob since Nov/Dec last year (2024) and I cannot fully describe how amazing he is as an instructor. I came into driving with experience driving in the US and huge level of apprehension and anxiety about driving in the UK. He helped explain, joke, and encouraged me to become the best driver I can— not just to pass a test (which I did!!) but because you can tell he cares about teaching learners. He is always calm, intuitive, and can always suggest a way to improve. He will cheer you on, make room in his schedule to help you when and where you need it, and encourages you as a learner to be empowered and identify what you want to improve. I don’t know if I’ve ever gotten to the “fun” but his tagline definitely helped me relax and be confident. He didn’t sugar coat, but he was kind. Because he had confidence in my driving, I knew that I could have confidence in myself too.

I’m very happy with my experience learning to drive with Rob. I passed my test on my second attempt, and I can confidently say that his teaching style made all the difference. Rob may seem a bit picky at times, but that’s exactly what I needed — his attention to detail ensures you’re not just passing a test, but becoming a safe and confident driver in all situations.

His lessons are well-structured, supportive, and focused on building real road confidence. At the end of each session, he encourages reflection on what went well, what could be improved, and how I felt during the drive. This approach helped me learn faster and understand my progress clearly.

I highly recommend Rob to anyone who wants thorough, professional, and effective driving instruction.

I had the most fantastic experience with Rob Watts. I was able to pass my driving test first time with no faults, and it was all because of his invaluable teaching.

He was a very clear and understanding teacher. I always felt super encouraged in all of our lessons, and learnt something new every time. He would explain things very dynamically, and always gave actionable feedback during and after the lessons.

He goes above and beyond for his students, even posting useful information into his WhatsApp broadcast channel. I felt like I could come to him with any questions. He made me feel very comfortable during our lessons. He exhibited so much patience and you can tell that he really cares. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor! I would highly recommend him to anybody :)

I am so grateful Rob helped me pass my test first time with only 1 fault. Having such an amazing instructor helped me to always feel safe and confident on the road with him. Rob has always had plenty of ways to explain things with diagrams to help learn visually. He is calm and supportive which allowed me to control my nerves in my test to drive to the best of my ability. I am so glad i had Rob as my instructor and would recommend him to anyone.

Rob is awesome! He helped me pass the driving test on my first attempt with zero fault. He's really patient. And always gives actionable feedback after each part of the drive which is really helpful. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for an instructor in this area.

Rob, what a legend! Words can't describe this man. He is so patient and easy going. As the dad of someone who passed (today) after instruction from Rob, i can say how great it was dealing with him. He always gave me practical advice and suggestions of what my daughter needed on private lessons with me to help her pass her test 1st time, which she did (only 1 minor!).

Daughter felt very comfortable and at ease with Rob. She said he always made her laugh. She really looked forward to every lesson.

Rob was exceptional. My husband had him as an instructor and he insisted that I use Rob when it was my turn to take this test!!! And he was right. Rob is diligent and explains things really well and will drill down the things that are important till they become second nature. I appreciate his instruction and his friendly demeanor and personality making the lessons not just something I had to get through but something I enjoyed. I passed at my first attempt and for that I appreciate him even more!!

I would like to say a massive thank you to Rob for helping me pass my driving test. He is easy to talk to and a very patient and caring instructor. He goes in depth with his teachings allowing you to feel confident before trying something new and helping you reflect on where you need to improve. He is realistic in terms of if you are ready for the test and always ensures that you are consistent in the different driving skills. I could not have asked for a better instructor!

Rob very calm and is a very knowledgeable instructor. I passed on my first attempt despite negative news about erith. He will take you through the basics and hold you all the way through to pass your test. He gives you those reassuring words to make you feel good with yourself. His attitude is top notch and I will always recommend him. One of the things he does that swept me off was his punctuality. He is at urs at least 15mins earlier than the scheduled time for your lesson. He is a good man. Always willing to work on ur deficiencies. Never in a hurry and never judges you. He takes his time to make sure you are comfortable. Thank you Rob.

I’ve only had one lesson with Rob so far, but I'm glad I found him. Rob is a friendly, calm, and patient instructor and this has really helped to put me at ease about learning how to drive. Before we even began lessons he was super helpful in guiding me through the process of getting my provisional licence.

He replies quickly to messages, provides lots of useful information, and explains things really well, making everything feel much less overwhelming. Overall, a great teacher—I’m looking forward to continuing my lessons with him!

My driving instructor was Rob W who serves Woolwich and surrounding areas. An absolutely fantastic instructor, knows his stuff, makes you feel very relaxed and really went out of his way finding availability for me when my test date was close. Excellent timekeeping, was always ten minutes early and patiently waiting each time. If you are looking for a caring instructor who won’t have you taking endless lessons just because, someone who genuinely wants his students to pass then he is your guy. Was referred to Rob by a friend who recently passed their test. I heard great things and was not disappointed. Rob is very calm and informative while teaching. He doesn’t just teach how to pass the test, but how to be as safer driver as possible. Enjoyed the lesson overall and feel a lot more confident driving.

Rob is an excellent communicator, patient, and a good teacher. He takes the time to ask you questions and explain everything. I am doing refresher lessons and am also learning to drive an automatic car for the first time, in England, with the steering wheel, the controls on the other side. I am happy to choose him, to be able to drive safe and with more confident.
