Amateurish

Opened an account with these. It took days longer than normal for reasons beyond me (I've accounts with much stronger organisations than this one).
Once they were happy I tried to fund the account with a USD account I have in the UK. They said this was impossible and I'd have to change the dollars to pounds and back to dollars for them to go in my Robinhood account. Farcical. Deleted. Sticking to trading 212.

HOOD Holidays: A Disappointing Gimmick, Not a Giveaway

Robinhood’s HOOD Holidays was one of the most disappointing “promotions” I’ve ever participated in. The prizes were laughable — tiny, practically worthless amounts of crypto that felt more like spare change than an actual reward. Every day was just another teaser, nothing real, nothing exciting. They constantly hinted at better gifts, but the only way to get anywhere near them was to pay for a subscription. It felt less like a holiday giveaway and more like a marketing gimmick designed to upsell us rather than reward loyal users.

If this was supposed to create goodwill or holiday cheer, it did the complete opposite. I walked away feeling misled, frustrated, and like my time was wasted. HOOD Holidays was hype without substance — a holiday promo where the only real gift was for Robinhood’s bottom line.

Horrific Customer Service

Horrific Customer Service. I opened an account. I deposited money and left it over the holidays. Today I linked my high yield savings account to Robinhood using their 'validated method' to transfer the money to it. Apparently this is INSANE to them and they frozen my account. I got an email that my account was restricted and under review no way to respond to it, no phone number to call no email address to contact NOTHING. I went on the app and requested a PHONE call. No one called. I get another email saying they are closing my account and I MAY get my money out of the account. I called the 'support' number and it HANGS UP on you. You CANNOT talk to a human being. Avoid this platform at all costs.

They have screwed me every which way possible from canceling a soon to be winning stock option to straight up lying to my face(over the phone) STEAR CLEAR THEY ARE CROOKS!! THE FURTHEST THING FROM A SUPPOSED "Robinhood" they steal from everyone

It's pretty crappy when you open up a Robin Hood account almost 10 years ago and they wouldn't ever let me gain access with I.d. and documents so for a year I tried several times & was given the runaround try to contact customer service just to find out that somebody opened up all kinds of stuff in my name they are crooked. Funny thing is when I actually was able to get access to it there was another phone connected to my account in L.A. California I removed it in 2 minutes later it was right back on thanks Robinhood you guys are the best ! Not really because by the time I was actually givin access to it everything went to hell already gone to hell to say the least I wouldn't recommend this app if it was the last investment app on the planet 💯

Hidden fees. Trash service or no service.

Hidden fees.. locking your account when you're buying too much at a good time.. restricting trades... while they buy up everything they can.. it's a really shiesty app.. it's not good for anyone.It's only good for the owners of robin hood... their customer services abysmal.. it's been four weeks since i've heard anything about my account's robin hood gold status being reactivated by rh, not by me, they charged me for 3 months before I noticed it..

Don't use robin hood.... you are buying stock and they're going to hold them and sit on them and make money off of them and let you sell only when it benefits them.

Go anywhere else...

My worst decision I ever made in my life is connecting to roobinhood because they won’t let you put a stop lose on the same day you buy the a stock so by the next day you are all ready 10 present down. Also if you put 5 or 10 present stop lose they will hunt your stop loose before it reaches the presented you put . On top of this their margin Acount it a complete lie they are putting you on margin call just to forest you to sale it so they are lowering your shares and profits. Also they don’t pay 💰 you for a market prediction !!! They will tell you a story about you are bean in margin call that was never really happened but they are making it on the weekends so Monday they will settle it like the money you won on the predict market is not yours now it just covered your margin call which is a completely lie . A professional fraud… they are faking a margin call on you on the weekend when the markets is closed and stealing all of your money even that your stocks did not go down so the merging call was a mistake but they will forst you to sale your stocks

Robinhood Financial… TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!

I've been using Robinhood Financial Services for five years. - However, recently... I haven't been able to do money transfers out of my account. It's like my money is being held hostage. - I attempted the transaction a dozen times. - It keeps asking me to VERIFY who I am in order to make a withdrawal. I attepted to submitID via their site but it kept rejecting it. After numerous attempts, I used a different ID and it took it. - But, it STILL won't allow me to make a withdrawal. - However, very interesting that it let me make a "deposit" without making me jump through 1000 hoops. - Customer Service is HORRIBLE! - You can't reach a LIVE person. - Only communicates via CHAT. - Spoke with five different agents via chat (includinh Jalen & Stephanie) and they all keep asking the same questions & offerig the same advice... "which doesn't work!!! -- I tried opting for a call, but they call... and instantly hangup when I answer!!!! - TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!*** - If it were possible I would have given them ZERO stars!!!

I moved funds from Robinhood to…

I moved funds from Robinhood to Vanguard, I was a Gold Member with Robinhood and had paid $35 in membership fees at the point of the transfer. We did this because they offered a match on the ira account. When we moved the funds, they took the match back, I totally understand that. Yet when I reached out to support requesting to be refunded the $35 from gold, they would only refund $20. Mind you, they took all $210 from our match so now they've kept an additional $15 for a benefit taken from us, in addition to a $100 transfer fee. Robinhood took $310 back, and said that the "max" amount they could credit back is the $20, and refused to do the remaining $15. It's frustrating when there is an opportunity for a company to do the right and fair thing by the customer, I did not ask for the $100 fee to be waived or the $210 match. I simply asked to be refunded for what we were charged when the benefits were stripped from the account.

Literally a criminal organization

Literally a criminal organization. They just steal your money. They will do anything y not give it back to you. Their entire system is built to get over on you to get you to make it super easy to put your money in but possible to get it back out. How are these guys still open?

Less than 1 Star if I could

Less than 1 Star if I could. Was a customer since 2016 when they started. Customer service is horrible and incompetent. They will take your money but when you go to withdrawal they freeze your account for no reason then close it and you wait months or years. I've had 200k taken and it took a lawsuit to get it back. They play games. They manipulate the customer. They operate under a "technology" company but they only do that to get around the rules. Vlad is a horrible CEO. Please don't trust these people. You will regret it.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. Have called multiple times asking for call back; never receive it. They say they are transferring them just hang up and one has to start entire process over. I can not log into my account to access funds because screen on phone is cracked. They had me send selfies to a reply email account that is not monitored. Never had such a an unprofessional experience with an entity handling so much money. Horrible company, I will withdraw all funds as soon as I can actually talk to a person to access account.
