Had an very complicated case of being under the influence whilst in charge of a motor vehicle. Was looking at a two year ban which would have badly affected my business. Richard and his partner Willie turned out to be superstars when the fiscal was persuaded to drop the charge. I don't know how he managed it but he went to lengths no other solicitor would go to. Everything was clearly explained from the beginning.
Communication was excellent. The admin team responded to my emailed queries quickly and Richard Freeman phoned me several times to reassure me about aspects I was worried about.
I was well represented in court by Mr Alan Watt who effectively put across the mitigating circumstances around my drink driving charge so that I was fortunate enough,despite having quite a high blood alcohol level, to receive a driving disqualification of only 12 months ,reduced to 9 as the sheriff accepted the invitation to put me forward for the driving rehabilitation course.
I would recommend RTE to anyone,especially those like me who are very anxious of police and court proceedings.

Richard is just the best! I didn’t think I had a chance of keeping my licence or at least getting points but he got me off, not guilty! I still can’t believe it and I’ll be eternally grateful for that as my car is my lifeline. It was well worth the money and I’d 100% recommend to anyone needing help to save their licence!!

In January 2024 I was sitting in my car in the middle of the night when the police came and smelled alcohol from me, I was breathalysed which failed. Then I got arrested and I was 2.5 times above the limit, at that point after fund out what kind of charges I could be facing I was completely hopeless as it could be driving ban, huge penalty, Evan going to jail.
I just thought looking for a lawyer would be my best chance to minimise all this nightmare, that was the point when I found (Road Traffic Experts) and believe me they were like an Angel sent from Heaven. I'm so grateful to Mr. Richard Freeman who is an absolute Genius, he was a very truthful person who never promised me the world but helped me to understand what my chances could be and the steps that should be taken to achieve the best results and it was just before he found a detail so small that just a great professional could notice it they call it a ( technicality). I came to Richard Freeman with my road traffic offence thinking that I would get 1 year ban from driving leading to also losing my job and plus a large fine to pay but I cannot thank Mr Freeman and his team enough for the outcome of my case there where no charges against me and no fines Mr Freeman kept me updated and supported throughout out the lifetime of the court case Mr freeman worked Miracles on my case and is highly recommended to anyone not only saved my licence but my job too .

Decided to employ Richard freeman to defend me on a dangerous driving charge that the basis was speed had reached 104mph.

My experience was not a good one at my initial hearing I was represented by a local solicitor they had passed my case too who didn’t even know my name and had no background to the case.

At this point I should have looked to change. Little to no progress made on the case no activie discussions with the PF to try and offer a lesser charge.

The morning of the trial a Mr McKay came to meet me and advised the fiscal did not like him or the firm and that it wouldn’t be possible he would make a deal. Was advised the fiscal was not one that “liked the firm” and this was going to go against me. Despite this a plea was offered and swiftly rejected.

I then asked if we should plead guilty to lesson the ban or if we should proceed to trial at which point I was told I don’t know / can’t tell you. The fee of £3600 was in my view high and for this I would have liked some legal advice about proceeding to a trial as I still today don’t believe the speed was dangerous

I would not use this firm if your from Aberdeen or your case will be held here you would be better placed with a local company who have working relationships with the court.

I pleaded guilty in the end and the sheriff gave me the minimum ban and a fair fine he was very reasonable and I regret not running the trial as believe he may have accepted careless as there were higher speeds that day who escaped bans.

I have now spent my savings on defending this charge where I would have been better of defending myself and using the money for taxis.

I used Richard after an unfortunate event which involved drink driving and leaving the scene of a crime. Communication was always easy and information was clear no promises were made about the outcome of the case although I was always reassured that he would do his best and that is exactly what he did. Richard done the unimaginable and helped me keep my license which I did not believe was possible. I cannot recommend him enough for anyone who finds there selves in a situation like this

RTE offered and delivered a professional and well informed management of my driving offence. The charge was reduced and I avoided a ban through following their advice.
