This is for Road Runner eyes only. I would rate my experience a 1 were it not for Anthony. The subcontractor driver violated the contract; against my wishes picked up the car on the wrong day and deli... See more

This was the most horrible customer experience I've ever dealt with. After they took my vehicle they told me it would be $400 more. I was forced to agree to it via text because they already had the vehicle, not like I could say no. They call the day before drop off that the $400 would be cash or Venmo which was off because there is a card on file. I called them and they told me I would not have to pay that. Then they drop off the car and won't give me my keys until I pay. I call them at least 12 times over the 45 minutes on the side of the road with no answer while someone is texting me threatening to tow my car that I am sitting in. This was the worst customer experience I've ever had and I will never recommend these people again. That, and their business is marked closed on Google.

RoadRunner Auto Transport managed to turn a simple, pre‑scheduled car shipment into one of the most spectacular displays of incompetence I’ve ever witnessed. We booked a full week in advance, confirmed the day before, and even made a 14‑hour round‑trip from California to Arizona — solely to hand off the car. We requested an afternoon pickup, they confirmed it, and we foolishly assumed that meant something.
The day of the pickup, RoadRunner delivered… absolutely nothing. No time window. No courtesy call. No “we’re on our way,” no “we’re running late,” not even a half‑hearted automated message. Just pure, unbroken silence — impressive, really, for a company that claims to specialize in logistics.
At 2:15 PM — long after any functioning business would’ve communicated — we finally received a text saying a carrier had been dispatched and to call a specific number. That number turned out to be a performance art piece. We called it five times throughout the afternoon and evening. Every call rang, then politely escorted us to voicemail. No callback. No text. No explanation. We even tried again the next morning. Still nothing. At this point, we would’ve had better luck training a carrier pigeon.
When we finally reached RoadRunner directly, the manager didn’t apologize, didn’t acknowledge the complete communication collapse, and didn’t seem remotely concerned that we’d wasted time, money, and an entire trip waiting for a pickup that never happened. Their response was essentially, “We can still pick it up,” as if the previous 24 hours were just a quirky little misunderstanding and not a full‑blown failure on every level.
By then, we were already back in California — and trusting them with a vehicle felt like volunteering for a social experiment. We cancelled immediately.
And now for the part that should make their marketing team reconsider their entire career path: every time you call RoadRunner, their automated system proudly declares them the “number one most reliable service.” After this experience, that tagline doesn’t just miss the mark — it launches itself into the stratosphere of unintentional comedy. If this is their version of “reliable,” I’d hate to see what they consider unreliable.
If reliability, communication, or even the faintest hint of professionalism matter to you, choose literally any other company. RoadRunner couldn’t even manage a phone call.
And please, don’t waste my time with the standard “we’re sorry to hear this” message you paste under every negative review. Reliability isn’t something you fix retroactively in a comment box.

There is great communication and follow up to get your business but once your booking is confirmed all customer service stops. I am an understanding person. When they told me the price increased because of the gas prices, I was annoyed but accepted it. The estimated delivery date was Friday 4/17. Friday came and went with no calls. I called on Saturday 4 different times and had to wait 20 minutes on hold each time to speak to someone only to be told there were no updates by the carrier in the system and dispatch would reach and get back to me. Never happened. The tracking system is a joke. It is an archaic tracker the driver logs into to update. Luckily I had an air tag in the vehicle and can see where it was. It hadn't moved in 3 days!!! Not once in 72 hours has anyone called to tell me anything about the status of my vehicle or provide me an updated delivery date so I can make new arrangements to receive it. When I called Monday morning I was rudely told they are busy with 100's of bookings. When I questioned how many are this delayed that it couldn't be responded to timely, she was even more rude and said their contract said it is only an estimated delivery date. I said that doesn't excuse the lack of communication. At this point I am not sure if they are hiding damage done to the vehicle or other nefarious reasons but I am ready to cancel the payment and report it stolen. Worst service I have ever encountered.

I picked RoadRunner based on Trustpilot. Lesson learned. Don't rely on only one review site / search source.
Since agreeing to having my car shipped with them.
1. They bumped my "estimate" by 16 percent.
2. Their "continuous updates" is a one way year 2000 era dumb portal.
3. No way to communicate by Email. Calls only?!
4. Their site lists call in hours till 10PM EST. Nope. Now closed at 5:30.
5. Radio silence since my order was signed.
Regretting using them already.
Updates:
Funny, their response on Trustpilot was faster than I was able to reach them when doing normal business.
They canceled me rather than trying to fill my needs. So much for customer service.
