I cannot recommend RJ Automotive highly enough! I approached them to have Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) retrofitted to my vehicle, and what initially seemed like a straightforward job turned into a much longer journey due to unrelated issues with my car that had absolutely nothing to do with their workmanship.

Despite this, the team at RJ Automotive were incredibly patient, supportive, and professional throughout the entire process, which spanned approximately 8 months. They went above and beyond to help me diagnose and work through the underlying issues, always taking the time to explain things clearly and offer guidance where needed. At no point did I feel rushed or dismisse; their commitment to getting everything right was evident from start to finish.

Thanks to their persistence, expertise, and genuine willingness to help, the ACC system is now fully installed and working perfectly. It’s rare to find a garage that combines technical excellence with this level of customer care and integrity.

I ordered an OBD and new buttons for my A250e which came very quickly. I then booked a coding session the next day to install Active cruise control (distronic pro).
I then followed the easy instructions to replace my steering wheel buttons which took me 20 mins.
I then messaged to ask a question and was offered to do the coding in 20 mins..
When the coding was complete, I went for a drive and by the time I returned home, active cruise control was working.
The whole process was very easy and done remotely using a laptop and the OBD provided.
I did make an error in thinking it had failed because I wasn’t turning on the cruise control with the limiter button, but once I put my readers on and pressed the correct button! Bingo lol

Super easy from start to finish. I bought a package that included software and the OBD dongle. Hardware arrived international mail in just a few days. Once arrived I made an appointment on their site, just a day or two later. They were very accommodating when I mistakenly booked an appointment during a busy time due to my own problems with converting the time zones. They were very responsive in the time leading up to the appointment time answering questions, as I was a little nervous I may not be prepared with the correct software or Internet connection for the dongle. Once I plugged in the OBD dongle to my laptop and gave them access on AnyDesk, I simply sat and waited. 20 to 30 minutes later I got a message on Whatsapp telling me it was safe to disconnect the dongle from the vehicle. He helped show me where the new digital light options were in my MBux settings. All the new settings were there verifying the update was successful! I could not be happier and can't wait for the sun to set so I can try out the new features. 5 star service all around, what more could I expect or ask for? I can think of nothing. If you want all the hardware on your Mercedes activated and live in a country that hasn't approved these cutting edge systems for use yet, talk to these guys. Chances are really good they will be able to help, at a great price.
