Problem with an order: refusal to refund
I strongly advise against this shop, and you should especially avoid ordering online. The thing is, I placed an order on 21 March and was expecting it to be delivered, but on 27 March DHL were unable to deliver it and returned it to the shop. I was expecting a refund, but nothing has happened; over 20 days have passed and I haven’t received a single text message from the shop. I contacted them myself and explained the situation. However, customer support replied with what appeared to be an automated message just five minutes after my enquiry, stating that following a detailed internal check, it had been found that the order had been successfully delivered. This is not the case, and the tracking information shows something completely different. They also added that they would not respond to any further enquiries from me and would not assist in resolving this issue. I have lost over €500 and I will be taking legal action. After all, they are fraudsters!

I recently bought a rituals candle from John lewis (oxford street) but they didn’t pack it nicely for me; they didn’t have any gift wrapping available. It was a present and it really mattered so I found a rituals store right opposite, walked in and asked if I could get it gift wrapped. I offered to pay but the lady (her name was Dina I think) immediately offered to wrap it beautifully and all for free! So pleased with the wonderful customer service! Thank you for helping me make my friend’s day so special
Candles not natural smell
Candles smell "nice" for hr or so then nothing but wax smell then.. Not worth money

If I could give minus stars, I would. Horrible experience. Their customer service representative Klaudia could benefit from practicing some reading with comprehension skills. They made a mistake but she apparently couldn’t care less and doesn’t see any problem with them not delivering the service I paid for. She doesn’t seem to comprehend how someone without a car would find it difficult to pick a parcel from a completely different inaccessible village outside of town where I live. Mind you, I paid more than 10 euros for a home delivery. Nobody even tried to call me or reach me. They threw my package to the parcel shop. She insisted their solution was for my convenience. Rituals is taking zero responsibility for ruining my birthday gift for a friend, wasting my time, and also money. Given their current attitude, it will be very difficult to get my refund including the delivery fee back. Laughable. Never again
Such a shame as I love the product
I love Rituals products unfortunately the customer service is a huge let down. Following a seriously damaged package/burthday present,I found it difficult to make initial contact. Eventually through chat I got through. With no options provided they decided just to resend the products with no refund. The issue was the delivery service they used. I didn't want to use it again. Now my only option is to have the recipient refuse the new package before I can even get a refund! Rituals please do better!

My husband went into Eldon Square shop for me as I'm housebound at the moment, the sales assistant was so helpful to him I wanted a perfume that I had smelt on a little stick 3 months ago. Unfortunately she thought it was one that was discontinued, but gave my husband a couple of little sticks with 2 perfumes on for me to smell at home plus some little samples of skin care. I'd just like to say thank you to that girl for helping my husband out well done on your customer service it was very much appreciated

Called the customer service centre due to a spray item that I’d bought in store, which had stopped spraying. Stephanie was super helpful and polite. I was asked if I would like a full refund as the item is sold out in stores however I opted for a gift voucher. Super customer services

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an incident that occurred during my recent visit to your store. I had come in to purchase a Christmas gift and asked for the price of an item. Instead of receiving assistance, I was approached by a member of your security team and told that the item was “too much.”
This comment was inappropriate, unprofessional, and left me feeling embarrassed and upset. As a customer, I should be able to enquire about a product without being judged or discouraged. I was genuinely gutted by the experience and it completely dampened what should have been an enjoyable shopping trip.
I expect staff—security included—to treat all customers with respect and courtesy. I hope you will address this issue with your team to ensure no other customer is made to feel the way I did.

I just can't praise the Rituals branch at Teesside Park highly enough. The store is always immaculate and each visit is such an enjoyable experience I keep popping back. All the staff are professional but a special shout out to the Assistant Manager and Amelia. You both were so helpfully and Amelia thank you for the advice on the products. X
Disgusted
I was using the sinks at rituals and I used two of the hand soap and one of the member of staff approached me and said that enough products and said that I should only use one however the child next to me was using all sorts of them and he didn't say anything to me bear in mind I am a brown person and the person next to me was white
Atrocious customer service
Awful customer service. I order monthly from Rituals. Most recent order 25th July. Order been lost twice. On speaking with Rituals yet again, on 12th August, I was told it had been sent for a third time, track and trace and here we are 18th August still no products. No offer of compensation, not even delivery fee, considering they have now held onto it for over 3 weeks. There e-mails are very fanciful, peace and tranquility etc, but it appears this is just a facade, as they take days to respond to a complaint and don’t seem to want to take any responsibility. Expensive product. Atrocious after sales. Won’t be buying from them again.

My dad was at the till paying for something and she says he will get a free gift which is absolutely laughable because when we got home the free product was absolutely empty. I love rituals and there products but I certainly will not visit this store again think they need the staff trained again.

Spent a lot of money with them
I've spent a lot of money with this business. My latest order disappeared probably because they a use a cheap as chips courier business. Complaints fall on deaf ears about the inconvenience as my order was a present and I was told to reorder and they promised they would refund the original. Getting that refund should not take any effort. Should certainly not require continuous chasing up and asking.
It feels insulting as a paying regular customer to be treated like an unvalued customer.
Customer service non-existant
In all my time I have never received such poor customer service after having product issues. A complaint was logged and then closed due to how busy they were. I then raised it with the CEO to which I did actually get a response but then no response back after another 6 days. Companies cannot survive in this competitive retail world unless customer service is at the core of everything they do.
Beautiful product
I’ve had my eye on one of their bathrobes for a while, so I decided to purchase it on their app for my birthday. It was initially £83 but the app offered a 10% discount for my first purchase which was a lovely surprise. Upon arrival, the parcel was in perfect condition, arrived in the time slot given and beautifully packaged. The product itself feels very expensive and fits perfectly. I adore my new bathrobe and intend to use it for many years. It makes me feel uplifted and glamorous due to its great quality, fit, colour and super soft cotton fabric. Thank you Rituals!
Horrible user experience
Nice products, but I don't know how can such popular and costly brand have such a horrible website. Seriously, I have tried to place an order for 40 Minutes and the website had so many bugs, it would log me out or clear my shopping card just like that every 2 minutes. I gave up without acchieving to place an order. It's a pity.
Metrocentre experience was awful
Metrocentre experience was dreadful, the gentleman working in the shop was so unhelpful & didn’t have a clue about the products. Really put me off buying again. Not the service I would expect from a luxury brand.
