This company is. Scam. They high-jacket our toast pos system using fraudulent master card.
Total scam !!!
Recommended on Google maps for a local restaurant claiming no fees and half the wait time as the square ordering service. Turned out to be a total lie on wait time AND charged a $4.99 convenience fee!
This is a BS 3rd party ordering service that just places the order on the local restaurants website.
Said 15-20 min wait time and $0 service fee… 54 min wait time and $3 service fee.
Ritual.co is a SCAM. They added an order now button to my google listing after being told they DO NOT have permission. They are trying to steer my customers to order through their button on google, and pay them an additional fee for nothing. VERY shady business model, should be ashamed of taking advantage of small business owners and their customers.
Thought I was ordering at the restaurant. Deceiving. Missed out on the sale price. Cost me an extra $10. DO NOT USE THIS SITE
This "company" tried to high jack our online ordering system so that our orders would go through them and they can charge a % of your sales. We never signed up or even heard of them. This is a fraudulent business.
Super shady, charges a fee to place an online order, but if you go to the restaurant website itself to place an online order there is no fee. What is the fee even for?!!!!
SCAM! Signed up for a free trial which never happened l. I had rung the company and spoke to someone couple of weeks after registration where i was told someone from there company would contact me asap to set it all up. But no one did contact me or email me, but a month later took a random payment from my account without consent or even a heads up. Stay away from this company, i have reported this company and will just let the authorities deal with them.
Told to sign up for two months trial in Dec . Signed up but never used the service as lockdown happened end of Dec and business was close since . I have given notice to cancel the service in Jan , a month before the trial ended . Got acknowledgement of my cancellation request . And guess what ? They took money from my account in Feb ! Emailed them again about it requesting refund and request cancellation of all further payment ! No response (before the cancellation request their response time was quick! Always the same day! ) Reported to the bank as fraudulent payment !!!
Ritual is an interesting app that allows you to not only pick up orders (which I understand a lot of apps do!) but also provide ease in splitting the bill with friends or colleagues when picking up the food.
The app is easy to navigate and a lot of the restaurants on there offer great options. The occasional offers (e.g. £1 meals for a week) keep you interested and I won't hesitate to use the app again, especially with larger orders.
Great app! $1 lunch deals got me interested. The robust rewards and great selection of restaurants keeps me coming back. I'm so happy a coworker turned me on to Ritual!!
Great app to skip queues and earn points on your orders!
