My older cat is acting like a kitten again
My cat loves the Ripple Rug, which I ordered from the USA. It is of much better quality than the knock-off version I got at a UK online pet store. It is bigger than the knock-off and the bottom is thicker and stays put far better. The velcro tab things are better positioned so that you can roll up the sides to give an opening some sturdiness. My cat is now, suddenly, deemed an “older” cat, and so, though she doesn’t go sprinting through the holes like in the videos, she loves watching them and swatting back the stealth banana whenever and wherever it emerges.
The shipping was expensive (the reason for which they clearly explained), but it was excellent; the USPS site let me know exactly where it was at all times. No swatting needing.
I would suggest to others in the UK that, if they can afford it, they buy the Ripple Rug rather than a generic activity mat.
