Travelling with Riksja was ok
Travelling with Riksja was good, but price quality not so satisfying. Some hotels were aged and breakfast very simple. Some accomodations were very basic.We expected some more for that amount we payed.

We had a beautiful Journey but.....
We had a beautiful Journey, really remarkable, but the proces of booking en information about and around the booking of the trip was very bad for us. We couldn't get any contact. The information was incomplete and the way we were treated during the booking progress was not nice. In the end we heard that we were traveling with another agency ( this agency we had earlier asked for the same journey and was cheaper en nicer in their communication). We choose for Riksja travel because we had a cancelled trip in 2020 because of corona and we choose to support Riksjatravel (because of the Coronacrisis) by not asking the total sum of payment for that canceled journey back, and we didn't want to ask our money back in 2022 to book a journey they offered also.
But in the end it didn't feel good, especially because they didn't inform us truly and didn't communicate with us, they didn't replay to our mails and phone-calls. The trip was for more expensive than they communicated at the booking.
It makes that we won't book again with Riksja travel.

Our trip to Egypt was well organized
Our trip to Egypt was well organized. Beautiful locations, exiting excursions. Contact beforehand was very friendly and even during our trip we were in contact with local representatives on meeting points, pick up times etc for the next day. Accomodation in Cairo and Luxor was fantastic. On the Red Sea coast it would have been perfect to escape the resorts. But possibly, the all-inclusive formula can be excluded from the program? In the end: very memorable trip, lots of highlights, put together by knowledgeable people. Will travel with Riksja again

Wonderful trip through Egypt
We have had a wonderful trip with Riksja through Egypt. The first days we were on our own in Cairo due tue a private wedding. Our trip started with the nighttrain from Cairo to Luxor. There we had a trip to the Kings valley. Then a beautiful cruise of 4 days with several excursions on the Nile to Aswan with excellent service and good food on board, and finally 3 days in a hotel at Aswan. The support was excellent with the easy to reach local agent. The guides, drivers were kind and on time. The pool in the hotel in Aswan was out of use, but within 2 hrs we were transported to another hotel ( and you need a pool with the high temperatures 😅). Everything went smoothly during our trip and a big compliment to Miriam from Kingfisher tours who arranged all our local wishes.
Only minor thing was that we got the booking papers rather late.

Good travel agency for individual travel
Generally well organized. Got very good 24/7 back office support during travel which was very useful. Would consider planning travel next time.
