I had one of the worst customer service…
I had one of the worst customer service experiences at RT Price Tiles in Clonmel. The sales representatives, were extremely rude and unhelpful. They never bother to call and inform customers when their orders arrive — you have to keep calling them yourself.
I spent around €3,000–€4,000 on tiles and other products. Before purchasing, I clearly asked if I could return any extra tiles, and they said yes. I ordered porcelain tiles three times, and my tiler collected them. He opened the covers right in front of their staff to check for scratches before loading them into his van — no one raised any issue at that time.
However, when I went back later to return the remaining tiles, they suddenly refused, saying “no cover, no return.” I explained exactly what had happened, but the staff member there was shockingly rude. After checking the tiles, he didn’t even respond — he just walked away, leaving me completely embarrassed.
I wouldn’t have minded if they had politely explained that returns weren’t possible. But the arrogant and disrespectful attitude of their staff is totally unacceptable. They act like they don’t care whether customers buy or not — “take it or leave it” seems to be their policy.
Very poor behaviour, zero professionalism, and no respect for customers. RT Price Tiles in Clonmel will lose business if they continue treating people this way. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
On the 13th May I bought 12mm Dark…
On the 13th May I bought 12mm Dark walnut floorboards from right price tiles on tramore road for my entire flat.
On their website it's listed as:
"Dark Walnut 12mm features a robust AC4 Rating. This ensures its durability and resilience, making it suitable for both residential and commercial settings. From busy homes to bustling workplaces, this flooring can handle it all"
Inside the 3 months I have had the flooring down, there has been multiple scratches and chunks taken out of the boards as they are very easily damaged. Don't be fooled by the way they advertise, these boards are not durable. There is a reason why they are cheap.
I complained about the Durability, and I have had 3 gentlemen out today, 2 from right price tiles, 1 from the manufacturer.
The options they gave me was:
- replace the floor boards individually for the ones that are damaged or lift up all the floor until I get to the boards that need to be replaced.
( They would supply an extra pack of boards for me but I would have to do the work myself)
- Use wax fillers to hide the damage but it would eventually wash out and I would have to keep doing this.
- After that, they told me damage is "damage" and all floor boards will take "damage" even though the flooring can "handle it all". ( Keep in mind in this 3 months I have only been living here half the time as I spend the other half at my girlfriends house. So you could say in a month and half the boards have been damaged in multiple places, I counted at least 11 scratches and dents etc.)
I'm now in the position, do I keep replacing/ repairing floor boards every couple of months,
Just accept that the boards are easily damaged and that I will have to look at it,
Or completely change my flooring which will be a massive job are the flooring is all over my flat and the kitchen has been fitted on top of the boards.
They offered no apology, no refund of any sort. So they left me with no idea solution, just a repair then yourself or tough luck.
I wouldnt mind if I was seeing they after a couple of years, but in such a short amount of time for marks to be appearing every couple days is crazy.
There has only been two occasions when I realized what had caused the damage. 1 was dropping a teaspoon after making a coffee, and the other was a pebble stuck in the sole of my shoe. Both of which are pretty common things to happen, so these boards definitely cannot handle it all.
Stay clear is my advice, it's a big job replacing floors.
I'm just after finishing a renovation
I'm just after finishing a renovation, I purchased bathroom suits, floors, tiles from the oranmore store , where both the manager Tony, & Ryan were a fantastic help, in helping choose all of the above and the logistics of what would & wouldn't look nice along with our own vision. A great experience and it is evident that they both take great pride in their work, very helpful . Thanks lads. Phil & Maura
Be careful what you buy
Be careful what you buy. I bought grout in Oranmore store that was supposed to be black. After it dried, it turned out that the color did not match the description at all. It came out silver gray. After the complaint, the case was forwarded to the manufacturer. BOSTIK was supposed to contact me to find a solution. That was 4 weeks ago. Since then I have been waiting for contact to finally finish the bathroom. This is not a comment about the store, the employees did everything they could to resolve my complaint and were very helpful, but be careful what you buy so that you are not disappointed later.
BAD Service
2nd bad experience recently with right price tiles (coolock) let the first one go but this time gone too far, ordered a shower door online & PAID for it only to go to the store to pick it up to be told they had sold it!?! No communication to say they were
selling OUR door! Absolute disgrace.
What a kip never anything
What a kip never anything, or you order and its wrong, waste of time 🙄. Also sell your stuff that you have paid for in advance. Yep go to pick up a few days later and its gone.

I went to the shop near train station in cork. No prices, no stock to take away. Staff not very helpful
Ask for Leon…
I have been going to Right Price tiles in Cork by the railway station for years now I run a guesthouse and I’ve purchased many many tiles over the years. Leon the manager is what makes that shop so fantastic. I would never go anywhere else he is so professional, his knowledge of Tiles his resourcefulness in sourcing Tiles from other outlets for me when I went back a time later to source more of the same Leon went to endless bother to get them for me. He’s a very nice person a gentlemen bringing the tiles to the car for me. I highly recommend Right Price Tiles and I highly recommend Leon many thanks.
I went to right price tiles by the…
I went to right price tiles by the airport road roundabout in cork for my hall tiles 2 weeks ago and had a pretty shocking experience. Was told they weren’t in stock and left to be called again to come back as they were in stock and we made our way back to the store to be told that they still aren’t in stock but will be ordered and they just wanted the payment which we made but it really was an unnecessary trip for us.
In the meantime the following week I was looking for bathroom mirrors and went to so many different shops no one would help me and I needed an LED mirror urgently for my tiler and was told by anyone that would help me that I would be waiting a month.
Went into right price tiles by the train station in cork and was greeted by Leon (name from receipt) who was beyond helpful went through different options with me and was honestly so nice to deal with. I picked a mirror that still wasn’t available for 2 weeks to a month but It didn’t even bother me I still bought it as leon put me at ease that I would be contacted once it’s in.
The nice sales man really changed my opinion of right price tiles from my first experience.
As a young person overwhelmed trying to decorate my new house it was so nice to walk into a shop and be greeted and helped by someone who genuinely cared as I usually get horrible dirty looks and eye rolls when I walk into a decorating shop.
Thanks so much leon you made my day 😊 I will be back for all my future bathroom accessories!
Really disappointed with Right Price…
Really disappointed with Right Price Tiles Belfast - not surprised they have 51% 1* star reviews as opposed to 42 5*
Customer Service was appalling - served by the ‘regional manager’ who argued there were more tiles in the box than it said 😳 left us a metre short and argued over giving us one an extra tile ! having paid over £1k - I daresay with that level of hubris they’ll be joining the ranks of their neighbours before too long -
I just want to say many thanks to Eddie…
I just want to say many thanks to Eddie and Anna in the Ennis stove department for helping so much with the correct choice of stove and fittings. They couldn't have been more helpful in person or over the phone. All the expert advice was very much appreciated.

Hi I just want to say something about the lads that work in Right Price Tiles in the Clonmel Store,

Bathroom renovation
We dealt with Ivan in Sandyford. He was an absolute gentleman. We were delighted with his advice and our purchase.
Oranmore, Co. Galway Store-Fantastic place to deal with
I just want to say that my experience with Right Price Tiles in Oranmore, Co. Galway has been absolutely brilliant. Tony in there is extremely helpful and couldnt do enough for me with regard to the picking out of tiles and going through all my options. Peter is the same. I would recommend anyone to go there as the guys are so nice and helpful and easy to deal with and as a woman they don't make you feel stupid if you are unsure of what you are buying or need to check measurements again like some stores I could mention. I would highly recommend them.
Terrible Service/ No Complaints Process
After making several complaints with the Fonthill Branch, the Naas Branch and the Head Office in Cork over the course of 3 months they have neither acknowledged, responded or investigated any of the written complaints made to them. The company does not appear to have any clear complaints process and do not seem to care. The company has 1. Refused a refund for a mistake made due to their incompetence 2. Withdrawn money from my account without my authority 3. Breached their own policies and terms and conditions and 4. remain to hold my money for over 6 weeks and 5 will not accept any blame whatsoever.
Advice, should you have a complaint do not wait by making a complaint with the company- go straight to a solicitor as I now have no choice but to do.
Customer service or lack of it
I visited Blanchardstown Store and asked for advice buying floor kitchen tiles I spent almost 1000 euro I received tiles which I did not choose When I complained I was told they were the tiles I’d chosen The store took no responsibility neither did the manager I received an apology for how I felt. No apology for any mistake on store side. Dreadful customer service !!
Avoid this company
Avoid this company. They don’t even have a designated phone number for complaints and emails are not responded to. We purchased via the Bray store, requested a quote for a shower tray while in store, the quote seemed good, proceeded with the order, thought the price when calculated seemed very high but thought I must have made a mistake on my calculations. Returned home and decided to check our order against the online system. When we checked the invoice it gave a total at the end of the invoice rather than individual costs for tiles, grout, adhesive etc. We phoned back the store & the guy on the phone was reluctant to give individual prices, annoyingly so eventually we discovered the shower tray had been given to us not including VAT. This also really annoyed me as everything in store was priced including VAT. We looked for a full refund for the order as it all seemed a bit dodgy and he refused. (If it had been an online order this would have been possible) in the end we took a refund for the shower tray, which I had to drive to Bray to get as it wasn't possible to do a refund to my card over the phone!!
I phoned a few weeks later and paid for delivery which was to be paid to the driver, delivery was €10 cheaper than what we were quoted in store originally. Order was sent out with a lovely independent courier & when arrived I checked off my order and there were tile trims missing. The courier was good enough to drop the trims to my husband in Wicklow town the following day. I will never shop there again.
Outstanding customer service
I want to compliment and thank Oran from Right Price Tiles,Turners X, Cork. I had a problem with a broken cistern cover which I damaged accidentally. Oran took control of the situation and kindly provided me with a replacement from the showroom.
An unbelievable gesture 😀
Really happy
No complaints, all tiles were great quality, more affordable than a lot of other places we looked at and the staff were very friendly and super helpful. Top marks to Kylemore and the manager and team
