Selling deficient products

I purchased a Libre 3 sensor, as i have diabetes. They are supposed to stay on your arm for 15 days. Once again, it has fallen off prematurely, after only 7 days. Even after my benefits coverage, I still have to pay almost $130.00 for this sensor, and expect it to stay on for the time advertised. When I contacted the store to ask for a replacement, they told me to contact the manufacturer, as it is a known problem with the product, and is happening in large numbers, and they wouldn't be responsible for replacing it. I told him that I am not rich enough to replace it whenever it doesn't work properly, and inquired as to why they would continue to sell a product that doesn't work as advertised, and at that point I was told that there was nothing else to be said, and to have a nice day! Quite the scam! They get double the sales on a faulty product they knowingly sell to consumers, without any warning whatsoever, and I get nothing but a headache from a company I have dealt with for 15 years. Time to switch to SHOPPERS! Do the right thing people, and STAY AWAY FROM REXALL!

it should be illegal for them to sell pills this big!! I bought myself and my 77-year-old mother-in-law Calcium 1200 vitamin D3 from Dollar General,, she used her OTC card and Dollar General accepts the card but will not accept returns because they said it's government, they advertise all over their store that they accept OTC but they do not advertise they did that they do not give refund. Rexall should be ashamed for selling pills this big! too bad I can't post pictures on this site but you could check it out on Google and yelp under Dollar General in colonia And you cannot see inside the bottle before purchase

Booked an appointment online when searching for a wall in clinic after I slipped on the ice and dislocated my knee. Answered 2 pages of questions, explained why I need see a Dr. Drive ½ hour to get to my appointment to only find out no one showed up for work today and these guys aren't medical doctors they are pharmacist. Would have been nice to have this knowledge before hobbling in and out of the car and across the store on an injured leg.

Rexall Product Exchange

Rexall - Henderson Hwy
I went to this branch tonight to purchase a package of Benylin All-In-One (40) caplets. Upon entering the store, I was met by a woman who seemed Friendly, and when I asked her who was on the till, she was indignant and said "I'm watching it, I was on my way there when you walked away!" I had forgotten one thing I wanted to purchase; but as I went back to pay, the total amount was $115.00 after my senior discount. Because of a head cold, I wasn't thinking clearly. The package of Benylin I purchased had an expiry April 2026 (2 months from now) which I never noticed till I got home. I called to exchange it for a newer package. Upon return to the store, I was met with the manager, who wasn't very understanding or friendly. Obviously doesn’t know customer satisfaction. I informed her of the expiry date, and that I wouldn't be using the whole package of pills within the 2 months, and I didn't think that $26 was a good deal for near expired product. She told me emphatically that their policy is to have all medicines on shelf, (whether they are near expiry or not). And, I should have looked for a date. After a few words exchanged, she said she would exchange it this time, but next time check the dates! I didn't feel like I was treated with kindness and understanding; and left there deciding that I would never shop at that branch again. Did you have a bad day, or is this your regular character? After reading the other reviews, I can agree with many of them, and this is only the 2nd time I’ve been inside this branch since moving to Winnipeg in the summer.

Store closed a half hour earlier than website indicated. Sign on door read closure due to "lack of pharmacists". Wanted to buy a drink, not sure why the entire store needed to close due to pharmacist issues. Staff inside observed us reading the sign, shook their heads and laughed then ran away. Extraordinarily unprofessional way of conducting business.

Poorly run pharamacy

Nice clean store but the pharmacy is one muddle-ip mess. Husband called to refill prescription, they said no refills so he went to doctor and dropped off new prescription last week. Today he called to refill 4 prescriptions and they could not find his file so he printed out his list of meds for his heart, drove there—nope. No file BUT they did have the prescription he had dropped off. Not filled yet, of course. So….this is long weekend, clinic is closed until Tuesday and he has”just enough” heart meds. And the darn pharmacy hasn’t a clue even though we have been getting his meds there for over a year, thanks for nothing,

I bought Rexall Heavy Duty Bandages because my pharmacy was out of Johnson & Johnson. They don't stick. The area was flat on my foot. The wound was a small blister. It was clean and dry. I used 4 of the bandages and they all fell off within the hour.

Rexall refuses to honour advertised and posted sale prices

I went to the Rexall Drug store at 63 Wellesley Street E. Toronto, ON M4Y 1G7 Store #1974 to buy Paper Towels.

There was a sale tag for members of BeWell indicating that Sponge Towels 6-Roll was on sale for $5.77.

Directly above the price sticker were a number of packages of Sponge Towels 6 rolls. I took one of the packages to the cashier and the price that showed up was $27.11 I stated to the cashier that the price must be incorrect. No one with any sense would pay $27 for 6 paper towel rolls.

I was not allowed to speak to the manager, but the cashier said that whatever the cash registers indicates is correct. I took him to the shelf and I showed him where the packages were located and the pricing below.

He went down the shelf and picked up a Sponge Towel 2 Roll and said that was the one on sale. I had taken the sticker off the shelf and I showed it to him. He then said that it was not the sale item. I asked him why these 6-roll packages were placed above the sticker.

He had no explanation, but would not call the manager.

I tried to send a message to Rexall on line using their customer service website; however, I was unable to submit my message, so after 4 tries, I gave up.

I tried to call Rexall customer service but was instructed to leave my phone number and a brief message because they were being overwhelmed by customer inquiries and all operators would be busy until after the office was closed.

Is this some kind of pricing fraud? I believe that a store must sell the product according to the price on the sticker.

I have left my phone number and a message with Rexall and asking them to please help me in this matter.

Based on my experience with REXALL, I doubt if I will hear from them in the near future.

Preferred solution: I would like them to honour their sale price of $5.77 and stop acting fraudulently.

Still won’t shop in your store

Used to love your stores but since blackbird security came in I no longer will set foot in any of your stores. Also your employees are incredibly RUDE! Imagine if someone famous walked in and that’s how you treated them! You’ve also falsely accused me of theft and I’ve no been banned from several stores well that’s fine I don’t care I cut up my be well card into a bunch of pieces and haven’t been back to any of your stores since. You keep this up and you’ll close more stores. It’s only a matter of time because when you have high theft, poor customer service, high prices, and you put profit above people ultimately it will lead to stores restructuring, closing, and eventually you’ll just go out of business! So yeah I’ll shop at stores like London drugs they treat people who are disabled like decent people and not discriminate against them, and accuse me of stealing! So forget you! Never again! Oh yeah I saw a dude stealing in a store but nobody even bothered to stop him! I wonder how they would feel if someone did that to them because if they walked into my business I’d give em a taste of their own medicine see how they like it? Doesn’t feel very nice does it being discriminated against. I didn’t choose to be born with a disability. Hell if I had a choice I wouldn’t be here at all. But here I am. I wouldn’t recommend you to anyone let alone my dog I’ve had better service from a chimpanzee! RUDE STAFF RUDE SECURITY! In fact you would most definitely not be welcome in my place of business! I can discriminate too where I spend my money and it certainly isn’t in your store, online, or any of your vending machines why because you’ll say I stole it even with a receipt! I wonder how Louis liggett would feel if he saw how his company is being ruined today? He’s probably rolling in his grave! You deserve zero stars but the site won’t let me so you get one lousy star out of protest only! No stars for you! Don’t bother with writing to corporate because they don’t answer and it’s obviously because they don’t care! You deserve a big fat F!

Worst expirience

I Recently in FMC, I had a terrible experience with a pharmacy worker at the Rexall Pharmacy, Foothills Hospital. This person was extremely rude and unprofessional, making my visit a complete nightmare. From the moment I approached the counter, their behavior was dismissive and unwelcoming, and their tone was condescending and abrasive.

When I tried to ask a question about a faxed medication, they rolled their eyes and snapped at me, as if I was wasting their time. I felt completely embarrassed and disrespected by their behavior. It upset and stressed me, knowing I had just been discharged after recent open-heart surgery. It was clear they had no interest in helping me or addressing my concerns, and they made no effort to provide any guidance or advice.

Their unprofessionalism was evident in every aspect of their interaction, from their lack of empathy and sensitivity. We had no option but to get my prescription from that pharmacy at that time, so we had to wait because I needed to take the medication as soon as I reached home. I left the pharmacy feeling upset and frustrated.

In my opinion, this person is a disgrace to the healthcare industry, and it is unacceptable to treat patients in such a disrespectful and dismissive manner. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this pharmacy and seek out a more professional and caring healthcare provider. It is clear that this pharmacy worker is not qualified to serve the needs of patients, and their behavior is a serious cause for concern.

The pharmacy employees suck

The pharmacy employees on Thomas St & Winston Churchill suck. They always make mistakes with my medications. I drive half an hour to get my medication and it is not all ready. They make me drive three times to get all of my medication. It is not a good service and i believe to go somewhere else to get my refills.
Also I have to pick up 90 as the doctor said. they give me my different amounts. some for 20 days, some for a month and some for 90 days. this is not the first time.

The employees are very polite and efficient. My concern is not with them. I was recently in the new store in the Brightwater Community in Port Credit, Ontario. While there the cashier was busy preparing some items to be disposed of. I asked why the items could not just be marked down and sold. Apparently there is some Rexall "policy" that does not allow this with certain items. The items in question were earrings and scarves. Some earrings had $24.99 price stickers on them. I returned later in the day to see if in fact these items were on a discount table and was informed they had been put in the trash. At the same time there was a big clear trash bag full of family-sized potato chips that had newly expired dates. They were being thrown out as well. I said that I would take these items to the food bank as they would still be fine to eat and use. Once again I had various employees tell me it would not be allowed, against policy, etc. and must be disposed of. Port Credit has many homeless folks out walking around that could have made use of these items. I see no reason why these items had to be destroyed. Maybe you could advise me of Rexall's policies and reasons for. Thank You. PS - when previously in the store they had Christmas wrap on sale for 6 cents a roll and I purchased 35 rolls and made three trips to do so as I did not have my car that day.

Terrible pharmacy services

Terrible pharmacy services. Dealt with them for many years and time after time there was always one problem or another to be fixed before I got my scripts. Finally took my business elsewhere to a local independent pharmacy bc Rexall Paris is so disorganized and inefficient on a consistent basis. Service has gotten worse over the years. Highly recommend ANY other pharmacy in Paris.

Disrespectful Treatment and Unprofessional Service: A Terrible Experience

My friends and I, a group of eight, recently reunited after a long time apart. We were excited to purchase matching nail polish and perhaps some candy, hoping to enjoy a fun day out together. However, as soon as we entered the store, we were met with disapproving stares, which made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Despite this, we proceeded to the aisle we intended to browse.

Within just a few minutes, two female staff members approached us in a confrontational manner. Their attitude was unprofessional and rude, and they seemed to be visibly judging us. One of them asked, in an unnecessarily harsh tone, "Are all of you planning on buying something?" We were left speechless, bewildered by the aggression in her approach. Is there a policy here that limits the number of people who can shop together? I highly doubt it.

The staff member then demanded, "If you're not buying anything, please leave," glaring at us as though we were an inconvenience. We are a group of 15-year-olds—does that automatically make us suspicious in their eyes? Were we being treated this way simply because of our age, as though we were criminals or potential thieves?

Feeling deeply uncomfortable and disrespected, we left immediately, no longer interested in making any purchases. We were made to feel unwelcome and inferior, and the staff members seemed almost pleased with themselves for 'kicking us out.' This experience was utterly disappointing, and as a result, I will never return to this store. I'm certain my friends share the same sentiment. I will be sure to spread the word about the appalling customer service and the unpleasant atmosphere that prevailed during our visit. This store does not deserve my business, and I would advise others to consider shopping elsewhere.
