Warning: Song deleted without proof, no answers, no compensation

I strongly warn any artist considering Rewave. They removed my song from Spotify and all other platforms without warning or any real proof. Their entire justification was: “90 % of streams came from one playlist.” That’s not evidence. That’s a guess. No technical logs. No official Spotify takedown. They just deleted it on their own.

When I asked for actual data or a proper explanation? Nothing. Excuses at best, then complete silence. They’ve ignored my emails for over a week. Instagram messages? Ignored.

Meanwhile, I’ve lost all my streams and the revenue I earned. My track is gone, my reputation damaged. Their idea of compensation? Refunding the tiny distribution fee. As if that covers anything.

Honestly, this company seems completely unprofessional and incapable of transparent communication. If you care about your music and your royalties, stay far away.

Very nice experience

So i was new to releasing on digital distribution, but I was very informed about other services. So when I contacted them, their customer service helped me with everything and I decided that they were worth the try. After releasing and even before releasing there was perfect customer service experience and they were always available to answer any of my questions. Also, this song was delivered to all the stores as planned and everything went as it should. To all the independent artists I would recommend this service highly.

Bit rude

Customer service is shocking. I e-mailed, and asked them If I get an account can I untick Spotify when I upload my release?
And Can I release my music for free? if not what are your rates? . I also asked it if also went on itunes as well as apple music.

Their response was:
"in theory you can deselect Spotify, yes. But for what reason? Wouldn't make any sense.

For free? No, check our website for prices.
Yes Itunes and Apple Music.

Regardless of why you mentioned trustpilot, trustpilot is irrelveant. Apple got an 1.8 rating, does that mean Apple is bad company or that we are better than Apple? "

I must admit I wasn't too impressed. So I didn't get get an account with them. Happy to provide a screenshot. But those were their exact words.

"Do whatever u want we just aint adding content id"

Had enquired about distribution on YouTube Content ID. I understand there are rules and I respect them. But "Do whatever u want we just aint adding content id" doesn't seem right, does it? It shows you using your power just because you can. Just simply asked what rules/guidelines I needed to follow to get my songs on content ID. Their article shows I can't use samples/loops/beats/kicks/snares anything. I was ready to bend a little and produce my own samples but now I feel like they'd say "Do whatever u want we just aint adding content id." Will be changing my distributor even if I have to pay.
