No more automatic renewals

We've all been there in this hurricane of social media we sometimes need the comfort of knowing somebody has our back to protect us in a particular situation ReversePhone has an answer that can possibly quell or relieve anxiety you got a from a number out of the blue very dark ominous blue leaves a message it states you owe a certain amount of money and you must pay by say tomorrow or a week the company has a
name and the amount of money that are totally foreign into your sensibilities You don’t have a clue to who they are or what it is you have purchased now this feeling about this certainly won't simply disappear magically from your mind you think who are they I really need to know so the process is easy you give reverse phone that very number now they do their thing for you through information given such as company name and area code they are generally very successful in giving you the information of answers needed to ease your mind of this situation. They charge you one dollar for a week you can look up other numbers in that amount of time or not you can cancel within that week to avoid and here it comes, the dreaded forbearing automatic renewal charge of 2999 a month so I being somewhat sensible in a pinch and frugal opt out of this service after getting what I needed. The answer is this is not a real company, and the phone number has been disconnected. Contacting customer service for ReversePhone you don’t wait another day you ask to cancel. They comply with your request immediately. They honor their mission statement cancel your subscription and they don’t charge you anything going further. The wish is that all companies would behave in this manner to honor a customers concerns quickly without an argument. Here is an idea you order say three months of a subscription the company lets the customer know of the expiration and asks if you would like to renew. Now customer can renew or not renew. This way the customer is relieved of remembering date of cancellation and in the end has total control of his own destiny.

They totally scammed me

They totally scammed me. I paid for a quick check up, never agreed to a subscription and they charged me 40$ out of nowhere like not even a week later. There site is horrible. I am going to have to dispute with my bank now. Also you can't remove your credit card info. They suck big time.

This company is a SCAM!

I saw a YouTube ad. I thought I would check reversephone.*om out turns out it’s nothing but a scam just like the websites that claim they can do a reverse title search or a reverse VIN number search and I got on the hook from a reverse VIN number search sure it was only a dollar and it did give me some helpful information but I found out I could’ve got that for free if I would’ve investigated it some more but here’s the thing I canceled the free trial and then the very following month they took $39.99 from my chime card. I called the company canceled it and told him I am not doing this. I even called Chime and got a new card and number the very next year, the company took more money out of my account. I contacted Chime and ask them. How was this possible? But no one could tell me. reversephone.*om is just as shady as that company is hidden charges and you definitely don’t get a free trial because they can claim all they want. It’s like the other person said that left their review they make it nearly impossible to cancel it. And I’m so sick and tired of YouTube allowing these scammers to run their ads on its platform, but because YouTube is making revenue off of it, they don’t care about us. The only difference between this scam and somebody robbing you is the weapon. A robber will use a physical weapon and companies like reversephone.*om are using the Internet as a weapon. Whatever you do don’t use reversephone.*om you’ll thank me later.

A Scam for All Seasons— THIS PLACE IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY.

Would give absolutely zero if possible—I was lucky and looked up the reviews for this place before giving any financial data away, and I would like to offer warning to you —this company offers a week long “trial” for anywhere from $1 to $25-ish bucks or so, but after the trial ends, it’s almost $35 a month, and they tend to use weaponized incompetence in their call center policies so that you can’t ever get real help from customer service. ALWAYS LOOK UP Trustpilot/BBB/Google reviews before giving any financial information, because once they have it, they’ll start charging you while making it extremely difficult to cancel the service. I have had a similar experience once with a different scam company that had practically identical prices, poor service, and likely deliberate policies to obstruct them from forcibly taking “subscription” money after making it nearly impossible to get in touch with someone to cancel. If there are any five star reviews, be wary. Based on what I’ve been reading from the other many, MANY 1 star reviews vs the extremely rare (and in my eyes suspect) 5 star reviews, I have a feeling that those specific reviewers either got very lucky, very incentivized, or might not even be a human person writing the review. Granted, I only learned about this company and how shady they are with their operations & policies today, but something tells me that if it looks like a scam, acts like a scam, and takes money under questionable pretenses like a scam….then it sure seems like a scam to me.

If you have provided them financial info, LOCK YOUR CARD IMMEDIATELY, and get in contact with your cardholder company to discuss options for getting your money back!

It's a scam to get you to give up your information, please read review

If you Google reverse phone number, numerous companies provide this; however, this one doesn't disclose that there is a fee for this until after you have agreed to their terms and services. Once you do, be prepared to get bombarded with junk emails.

The company lies by omission in their advertising which is a violation of Section 5 of the FTC.

Section 5 prohibits unfair or deceptive acts or advertising in order to affect commerce. "This includes advertising that is likely to mislead consumers and where the misleading information is material to a purchase decision. The FTC looks at the ad from a reasonable consumer perspective considering both expressed and implied claims, as well as what the ad doesn't say."

Reverse Phone leaves out the part that you will need to pay them to get any information. This clearly is explained in the last sentence in the above paragraph.
They have an "F" rating with the BBB and for good reason. Please keep in mind this takes place after they get you to agree to solicitation. This would clearly affect a buying decision and this is just one of four (4) violations of Section 5 of the FTC.

Please don't do any business with a company that has total disregard for the laws of the United States like Reversephone.

Reversephone shows you can get a little more for your $

I have been getting a lot of scam phone calls and blocking them all takes time and once in a while I accidentally block a needed site like my bank or a favourite shopping place. So I tried Reversephone (I was attracted by their purple icons) was pleasantly surprised at how quick and how much info they gave me for a dollar! Their prices are clear and right out there for all to see and you can just use them as much or as little as you want. I talked to their support staff Jake D, and he was polite, knowledgeable, quick and a treat to deal with.

A Waste of Your Time

I went to this site to try to see who was calling me daily. I typed the number in, waited 5 minutes for the search to complete, and then was asked to pay for the info first.

This is just another scam site.
