Lot of crap Retina

I've just gone through the presentation for Retina total eye care and have never heard of so much verbal diarrhea in all my life. This presentation took nearly half an hour and should have started off with " Once upon a time" This presenter should be charged with deception and facebook sued for allowing the dishonest spiel to be broadcast.
The disclaimer at the end the ad disassociates itself from any of the claims made in the broadcast.
Save your money and heartache of being conned.

You have mistaken us for another company. We do not post presentations on Facebook, nor have we ever treated a customer from the United Kingdom named Peter. We are an eye clinic based in the Netherlands. Could you kindly correct this mistake and remove the review?

I cannot recommend this eye care…

I cannot recommend this eye care center, especially if you are a non-Dutch speaker.

The initial intake experience was positive as they could communicate effectively in English and explained everything. However, after that, things went downhill. I had my initial intake appointment in May 2023, and I was informed that I would have to wait for three months to see the eye doctor. On September 19, 2023, I received a call from them, confirming an appointment for November 8, 2023. I agreed and received a confirmation email the same day. However, on October 20, 2023, I received a call in Dutch, informing me of an appointment on that day. I explained that my appointment was scheduled for November 8, 2023, but the person on the call abruptly hung up without any response.

On October 31, 2023, I received another call, and though my Dutch is not great, I could know they were trying to schedule another appointment with the doctor. I reiterated that I already had an appointment on November 8, 2023, and asked them to send any communications in Dutch if they couldn't speak English. However, I never received any email communication until November 3, 2023, and when I checked their website, I found that there was no appointment scheduled for November 8, 2023.

I called them again, and the person on the line, who still couldn't speak English, suggested an appointment in February 2024. This left me bewildered, as I couldn't comprehend the reason for the delay. Despite my language difficulties, they persisted in speaking Dutch, even when I expressed my difficulty in understanding. Ultimately, I decided to cancel all the appointments and seek eye care elsewhere.

I've lost confidence in this company, and despite the initial cost for the intake, their management and service appear disorganized and unreliable. I would recommend looking for another eye care provider.

Ik kan dit oogzorgcentrum niet aanbevelen, vooral als je geen Nederlands spreekt.

De eerste intake-ervaring was positief, omdat ze effectief in het Engels konden communiceren en alles uitlegden. Echter, daarna ging alles bergafwaarts. Ik had mijn eerste intakeafspraak in mei 2023 en kreeg te horen dat ik drie maanden moest wachten om de oogarts te zien. Op 19 september 2023 ontving ik een telefoontje van hen waarin ze een afspraak bevestigden voor 8 november 2023. Ik stemde ermee in en ontving dezelfde dag een bevestigingsmail. Echter, op 20 oktober 2023 ontving ik een telefoontje in het Nederlands waarin ze me informeerden over een afspraak op die dag. Ik legde uit dat mijn afspraak gepland stond voor 8 november 2023, maar de persoon aan de telefoon hing abrupt op zonder enige reactie.

Op 31 oktober 2023 ontving ik opnieuw een telefoontje, en hoewel mijn Nederlands niet geweldig is, kon ik begrijpen dat ze probeerden een andere afspraak met de arts te plannen. Ik herhaalde dat ik al een afspraak had op 8 november 2023 en vroeg hen om eventuele communicatie in het Nederlands te sturen als ze geen Engels konden spreken. Echter, ik ontving nooit e-mailcommunicatie tot 3 november 2023, en toen ik hun website controleerde, ontdekte ik dat er geen afspraak gepland stond voor 8 november 2023.

Ik belde hen opnieuw, en de persoon aan de lijn, die nog steeds geen Engels kon spreken, stelde een afspraak voor in februari 2024. Dit liet me verbijsterd achter, omdat ik de reden voor de vertraging niet kon begrijpen. Ondanks mijn taalproblemen bleven ze Nederlands spreken, zelfs toen ik mijn moeite om te begrijpen uitte. Uiteindelijk besloot ik om alle afspraken te annuleren en elders oogzorg te zoeken.

Ik heb het vertrouwen verloren in dit bedrijf en ondanks de initiële kosten voor de intake lijken hun management en service ongeorganiseerd en onbetrouwbaar. Ik zou aanraden om een andere oogzorgverlener te zoeken.

had recently lenses replacement at Retina.
I got excellent care.
First they had explain very well entire procedure.. Then the treatment went 100% according to the explanation so I see now exactly as it had been promised. Im happy.
They have technology, facilites and very experienced team who has the empathy and customer focus.
Im very happy and I recommend Retina clinic to everyone.
