Restoro is a scam/scareware app
Restoro is a scam/scareware app that fraudulently claims to be a Microsoft Partner. It only takes a moment to see that this is the same scam company that used the same tactics a few years ago, Reimage. I'm an IT director and decided to check this out after a co-worker brought their personal laptop in with multiple issues, which were only made worse with this "all-in-one fix everything" app. A quick google search that dumped an improbable amount of 5 star reviews from all around the world, and having run into too many sites when searching for a solution to a new problem that were loaded with "you can do this lengthy process or you can just download Restoro and fix it now!" adverts. So I setup a VMware ESXi virtual machine with a brand new clean install of Windows 11 Pro with Office 365, just so I could see exactly what the changes were after installing this software. After a quick call to my credit card company to advise them that I was making a purchase that was 99% sure to be a scam, and that I needed to insulate myself as best as possible and explained why I was going down this route, they issued me a virtual credit card number and off I went. The number of "issues" it found on a clean installation were staggering and I immediately found zero need to purchase a license. I advised the co-worker to change every password he had and to lock all his credit cards when not actively using them and to watch for attempted fraudlent activity. We manually backed up his files and wiped his laptop and started fresh. You can go to Microsoft's site and search for Restoro and see exactly what their take is on this "optimizer".

Very disappointed with Restoro, every time I run the program it removes my Dropbox link from my laptop to my dropbox online. it sees it as a threat, I have reported it 10/30/22 and to date they keep telling me that the developers are working on the issue, wish I would have not purchased this app.

Hated it. Multiple annoying pop-ups that can't be controlled. Impossible to uninstall from my PC in spite of multiple attempts. I had to take it to a computer expert to eradicate it (the date is approximate). And now it's attempting to auto-renew! Get lost.

Absolute nightmare..
Absolute nightmare... demands you "subscribe" first with no way to cancel it. In my desperation to deal with some windows 11 error codes thought the app would have a cancel option. It does not. Finally decided to give up and get a refund, but the support team does not answer. A little further research shows this app is a scam app probably from India. If you've subscribed to this only way out is to get a new bank card. VERY much not recommended and stay as far, BE WARE OF SCAM!!!
Also if they reply to your review on here be aware the chat client they use is also a scam. The person on the other end is either a scripted bot, or is acting the fool to string you along to get more information out of you.
Edit to this review. I did try using their chat. I was met by like I said a bot or something else named Airha L that "person" did exactly nothing, waited minutes between messages, and when I said "I want to unsubscribe" meaning I wanted my credit card off their system(As they force you to subscribe) "She" just said, "what does that mean". I finally just said I was fed up dealing with the scam and left the chat. However I did screen record, and screen capture that entire conversation, I'll probably put it on youtube since I cannot upload those on this review.
