Update to my initial review!
Following my original review, I feel it is important to provide an update.
Despite multiple attempts by The Replacement Door Company to repair the issues with the two Suffolk Lined Glass doors, the defects were never resolved. These included plastic remaining within the glazing channel, visible gaps between the glass and frame, and the addition of glazing beading which altered the original flush-glazed design of the doors.
The approach taken was to attempt cosmetic improvements, including painting and the addition of beading, rather than properly addressing the underlying defects. At no point were replacement doors offered.
As the issues remained unresolved after several repair attempts, I pursued the matter through my credit card provider under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
Following their investigation, my claim was upheld and I have received a refund for the two defective doors.
Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to consider this carefully before proceeding.
This outcome from my credit card provider speaks for itself!
