This site is a joke
This site is a joke! You would think that a company with a name like this would be a much more successful company. I listed my property on this site and had one fake inquiry the whole entire time. I actually paid to list my property on this web site and will NEVER do it again. Zillow is free and has much more name recognition and reach. I have listed on ZILLOW and had huge success. They have everything this site claims it has and more. The responsiveness is horrendous on rented.com.

(I'm a renter trying to pay landlord)
For such a simple service and product, they are seriously struggling to execute!! Probably the worst customer service you can expect in this century too. I've had over 100 (yes 100) emails and phone calls with this company only to keep having to explain the issue over and over without any resolution.
I've had multiple billing problems trying to pay my rent and it seems there is an issue every single time!

Terrible customer service
Paid large deposit to rent car in Syracuse NY with Dollar. After flying all night, no one was at Dollar & the sign said go to Hertz. Huge line at Hertz so left for Alamo where I had a back up Rez. No problem. Rentals.com refuses to refund any money based on their rules/policies. So you should wait in lines for hours!? Outrageous. Will never use them again nor Dollar for that matter. BEWARE!

I am very disappointed in the interest generated by a "Premium" listing. I've used this site in the past with good results. This time almost not interest! The property I listed received only 2 inquiries from rentals.com during the 10 days it was listed. Strategically placed "For rent" signs (2) brought 15 inquiries and the property was rented from sign inquiries before the current tenant vacated. Clearly this site not longer has a significant view base.

It's "gotcha" business practice
It's "gotcha" business practice. The site clearly stated in terms and conditions they will refund your money in case you cancel the reservation 48 hours prior to pick up. They did not mention, they will do it only when you fully paid for the reservation. if you made a deposit, you will lose it, even if you want to cancel the reservation you made 5 months in advance and want to cancel it the next day after you booked it. Last time I am using these scammers.
