Great service all round

Great service all round! Shuttle from an to the airport was very good and quick! Friendly staff on arrival and the Ford Tourneo custom 9 seater was amazing! Would highly recommend using these people! Just go over the car with them and take pics for yourself also if you have any worries! As thats the best bet with any rental company

I am shocked by the dishonesty of this…

I am shocked by the dishonesty of this company. They charged us over one thousand euros for alleged damages, specifically:
Scratch on the rear bumper. This was already present at the time of delivery, and was visible by zooming in on one of the photos we took.
Alleged chip on the windshield. From the photos they sent us, it doesn’t look like a chip at all, but rather a stain. However, the person we spoke to on the phone insisted that “by touch” the scratch could be felt. This was clearly a pretext, and certainly not enough to justify the replacement of the windshield, which we were charged for.
Avoid this car rental company at all costs if you don’t want your holiday to end up costing you an extra €1,000.

RentalPlus Olbia

RentalPlus Olbia – Worst service ever!
The blonde woman, who seems to be the manager, is extremely arrogant and rude. The office doesn’t even have a toilet, and they don’t follow basic rules. They gave us a weak car and tried to force us into things we didn’t agree with. Totally unprofessional and unacceptable service.

Dishonest and manipulative – avoid at all costs

I booked a car for my vacation through DoYouItaly.com – a huge mistake I deeply regret.
When we arrived at the pickup office, they refused to accept any card for the deposit. Instead, they forced me to purchase their overpriced extra insurance, making it clear that otherwise I wouldn’t get the car at all. Suddenly, once I paid for this unnecessary insurance, any card magically became acceptable for the deposit.

The car itself was clean and in good condition, but that does not make up for the dishonest, manipulative, and unfair practices. This is nothing but a scam to squeeze money from customers who have no choice at the counter.

Because of this unacceptable experience, I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this company. I will never book with them again.

EMPRESA ESTAFADORA

Primero de todo me dieron un coche diferente al que yo había reservado
La empresa trata de estafarte de todas las formas posibles. Me intentaron estafar con la política de combustible una vez deje el coche y luego con cargos adicionales que no habían mencionado cuando se realizo la reserva con previo pago anticipado.
Su posición respecto a mi desacuerdo ha sido en todo momento de ser superiores, sin tratar de ayudar al cliente ni llegar a una acuerdo
Una reserva de 15 € se convirtió en una de 60€ gracias a su estafa
NO RECOMIENDO en absoluto alquilar con esta empresa

The company tries to scam you in every way possible. They tried to scam me with the fuel policy once I dropped off the car and then with additional charges that weren't mentioned when I made the prepaid reservation.
Their approach to my disagreement was always superior, with no attempt to help the customer or reach an agreement.
A €15 reservation turned into a €60 reservation thanks to their scam.
I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND renting with this company.

Unsafe car

I rented a Dacia Duster (booking ref: DYI-179356799) from RENTALPLUS at Alghero Airport. From the start, the car was unsafe: the front mirror was broken, making it potentially illegal to drive under Italian regulations. This damage was pre-existing, yet I was told no replacement cars were available until several days later and that I should drive nearly two hours to Olbia for repairs—despite making it clear I didn’t feel safe driving it.
Calls to both DoYouSpain and RENTALPLUS went unanswered. When I returned the car and raised the issue in person, staff were dismissive and unwilling to help.
I was effectively forced to drive a non-roadworthy vehicle for the entire rental period. This was unacceptable, unsafe, and showed a complete lack of customer care.

One of the worst car rental services

One of the worst car rental services. Trying to make us pay again twice the amount we paid online just for a name change. Staff not cooperating, not welling to resolve customers problem. Just trying to make us pay again twice the amount we have already paid. Just a name change which could be allowed anywhere maybe with a reasonable fee they didn't cooperate and ruined our holiday. Very sad and unsatisfied with the experience with this company.

Avoid This Company – Extremely Disappointing Experience

I had rented from RentalPlus Naples last year and had a good experience, so I decided to return this year. Big mistake.

This time around, it’s been a complete disaster from start to finish. I’ve been waiting over 3 weeks for a €250 refund that is still nowhere to be seen. On top of that, I had technical problems with the car, and instead of offering proper assistance, the company told me it was my responsibility to take the car to a mechanic and spend my own vacation time getting maintenance work done – in my case, an engine oil change.

So apparently, the next customer might be asked to change the tires, the one after that might need to fix the brakes – because why not? According to RentalPlus, it’s the customer’s job to fix their cars. Totally unacceptable.

After losing a full day of my vacation dealing with their faulty vehicle, I didn’t even get an apology. Every person I spoke to gave me different information, no one took responsibility, and in the end, I was basically told that the only thing I can do is leave a bad review.

Well, here it is.

Unprofessional, disorganized, and absolutely no respect for their customers. Stay far away from this company – your vacation deserves better.

Solid 4/5 without scamming

There was positive things and negative things but overall, I do not recommend renting a car from this company.

First some positives: The car was nice and in good condition (Ford Puma) and served us well during our 12-day holiday. The pickup was easy and quick, although the pickup spot was not walkable from Milan airport. However, they provided free shuttle to the rental place and from there we got our car quite quickly. Overall, 5/5 from this experience.

Now to the bad stuff: These happened tuesday 29.07 at 3pm when we returned the car at Fiomicino airport in Rome. The woman at the customer service was rude and tried to rip us off by saying that we had caused damage to the rear part of the car. Luckily, we had taken video around the car at pickup so we were able to show that the damages were already there when we got the car. However, had we not done that, she would have defininitely charged us for damages that we had not done.

Second ripoff was a cleaning fee that we were not informed about. The customer service woman said that there were sand on the floor of the car and that we are ”lucky” to only pay xx€ amount of cleaning fee. In reality, we returned the car at good shape and it definitely was not ”dirty”, apart from normal sand etc you would expect to be at the floor after 12 days of use. When trying to say that there was no mention about any cleaning fees upon rental, she showed us some fine print on the third page on the rental contract and argued that we are liable to pay. Legally she was probably right, but we all know that you do not conduct (ethical) business that way in real life, hiding some hidden fees in the fine print. To make matters worse, she didnt even try to resolve the problem but instead said: ”there is our customer support email, complain there”.

I must add that I have used multiple car rental services around europe and never had any of the above problems. So overall, if you want to use this company, be prepared to:

1. Take a thorough video of the car when picking up
2. Read the entire rental agreement, including the fine print, preferably with a lawyer
3. Add 5-100% extra to the rental price, depending on how good of a job you did with sections 1. And 2.

Please avoid this company.

I had a very disappointing experience with Rental Plus in Italy and would not recommend their service based on my recent rental.

First, the car was dirty upon pickup, which is unacceptable and suggests a lack of basic care or preparation for customers. On top of that, the vehicle had a massive dent on one of the doors, which was concerning and made me feel uneasy about the overall condition of the car.

The situation got worse upon return. A staff member informed us that we would need to pay €130 for some minor damage, which, although unfortunate, we accepted. However, we were then charged an additional €50 without explanation or prior agreement. This felt dishonest and left a very bad impression.

Overall, the service was unprofessional, and I felt misled both by the condition of the car and the unclear, inflated charges. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for a more reliable and transparent car rental experience

Renta Plus

On arrival to collect the car there was no car. I was then told I had to pay an extra £12 to have the car cleaned when it is returned. The company found a car after a few phone calls, I was then told they would not charge me for the cleaning the car had just been returned.
The car was filthy dirty and numerous damage to it, especially the passenger side which had a massive dent to it.
Returning the car I was told I would have to pay for a scuff on the passenger alloy, reluctantly I agreed to pay £133.10. When I returned home I received an email with an unexpected fee of £50 added and £11.00 VAT. There was no clarification for the extra charge until I disputed it, now there is a dent in the back! This was not pointed out by the worker as there is no dent. The worker said the scuff on the alloy is the only damage.
I am refusing to pay this extra charge and strongly advise people not to use this site.

Scam company

Avoid Rental Plus for your own sake!
The company charged for an already paid rental and there is no way to retrieve our money.
This is a well built scam together with Discover Cars.
I do not recommend neither of them.
The rental in the end costs four times as much as we expected.

Do not rent a car from this company

Do not rent a car from this company. In the end, you’ll likely pay just as much as with a larger, reputable company.
When we arrived to pick up our car, it was gone — they claimed we needed to pay hundreds of euros for an upgrade instead.
They keep the cars behind closed doors, and during pickup, two employees covered for each other, claiming it was a “four-eyes” policy.
They pointed out a scratch that wasn’t visible before, video or pictures are fake to much flits 😞, blocked our credit card, and left us to deal with the consequences.
Avoid this company — even if you’re booking through a third party. Just don’t do it.

Close to the airport and very good…

Close to the airport and very good pickup service. Much better price than other rental companies for the same car size. We rented a Ford Kuga for two weeks and everything worked perfectly. Just make sure you have pick-up and return time within operation hours since it's a 2 min car ride away from depsrture terminal.

This rental turned out to be one of the…

This rental turned out to be one of the best experiences I've had!
First I must mentioned the priceless customer service - They are available on WhatsApp almost instantly and will guide and help you with everything you need. You can also call them by WhatsApp, which makes it easier for people like me with data plan only (eSim).

They expect clean car return or pay in advance for their cleaning services, I assume it's a decent request, but need to take that into account.

The main thing that worried me is time spent because the agency is not inside the airport, but at local town just nearby (10mins or less) and they offered free shuttle busses. I didn't want this to delay me on the go or return, but ultimately - we were the luckiest couple because of that:
The day of our flight back, there was a 4-cars accident right before the airport, everything was jammed. I managed to go to that town and return the rental. The shuttle bus driver said its an hour wait in traffic, but eventually - he found a way to go past the traffic jam by side roads. As tourists in a foreign country that was a lot for us, we were afraid to miss our flight, but thanks to Rental plus and their service, we got there in time. Thank you for all your help and support Rental plus!

Unreliable and Unprofessional – Beware of RentalPlus

I had a prepaid reservation through a broker (DiscoverCars) with RentalPlus at MXP Milan, Italy, but when I arrived—just a delay, they had already given my car away without any notice or attempt to contact me.

When I called them, their response was completely unhelpful and dismissive. They told me it wasn’t their problem and that I needed to deal with DiscoverCars. This is extremely unprofessional, especially considering that the entire rental was paid in full in advance.

Their lack of accountability and complete disregard for customer service forced me to book another car on the spot—at twice the price. So now I’ve paid for two cars and am still trying to get a refund with no support from either side.

RentalPlus showed zero flexibility, zero communication, and zero responsibility. Avoid them if you want a reliable experience.
