If I could score lower, I would give this platform a negative. The site appears to still be in an embryonic state and lacks even the most basic of features to allow you to find someone. Here are a few examples *I was not even able to find my own post, *the messages people sent do not appear in a messages section, *the dashboard does not have a search feature, such as wanting to attend a concert, *there was no distinction between whether you were offering an event, or you just wished to join in. *poor ability to interact with others, *Etcetera. The website looks like it has been created by amateures who ran out of money, and didn't get past the profile page. My suggestion is don't waste your money.

When I saw the website, I thought that this website is genuine but when I started to fill the form, I noticed that this is website is fake because there were many spelling mistakes and in the last of form filling, when you haven't even entered your Phone N#, website says we have Sent you Code on your phone N#, and after that when you scroll down, website asks you to enter Phone N#, and below the Phone N# entering bar there is a Spelling mistake that says, the OPT Code. so, guys, don't believe this website, because, it is completely Waste of Time.

The website is plastered with ads covering content and other pages. It is impossible to navigate and on top of that they are trying to get money out of you without providing a good or service. Shame on you.

it is bollocks. when they promess everthing, they make you fill an infinite form with 100s questions and after you spend 30 min of your valuable time at the very end they want to fork out 55 dollars for the service. Come on why dont you mention from the very begining you want to charge??????? having 2 stars here means your platform is shit. so i wont even bother to pay even 5 dollars.

I'm an introverted old guy who has been playing ping pong in our S. Florida condo clubhouse as my critical physical therapy over the past five years. My single reliable partner goes North for the summer so I checked out rentafriend to see if there might be a candidate to rent who could fill in for my missing summer partner. I had no problem registering to access candidates listed in my area but found - depending which link I initiated my search with - I would bring up 3 different lists ranging from 2 to 6 different candidates. One mentioned ping pong but when I tried to message her I found I needed to first enroll in a $19.95 subscription. But when I went to the subscribe link I found that it was monthly recurrent which was strange for a service which one would be unlikely to need on a regular basis. Hesitating to subscribe - I spent the next 2 hours in a failed attempt return to the list with that ping pong lady but was only able to bring up the alt 2 and 6 candidate lists. I then felt uneasy about committing to a recurrent subscription
so decided to email rentafriend support to get some response. "RentAFriend - Your website is very flaky. I've spent the last two hours trying to recover all 6 (straight female) friends in Stuart, FL (because depending on which link you initiate the Stuart, FL search with, most bring up just 2 but one link brings up 6 completely different candidates but I've been unable to access that particular list again. The next problem was because I initially registered with my email and a obtained a user name - when I tried to SUBSCRIBE - I brought up two red warning panels reading - "that email is already in use" and "that username has already been taken" so I'd need to set up another email to subscribe. A really weird thing is for a website that stresses that it's not a dating site and relations are strictly platonic - no touching allowed - in starting a friend search you are asked to check off your and the friend you are looking for - Male/Female - plus your explicit sexual orientation from Straight, Gay, Bi.
I sent a follow up question to Jessica that she never replied to.
Since I have never been able to bring up that ping pong candidate again - I never subscribed to RentAFriend.

After I registered it signed me to a sports site. SCAM

I thought this was a great idea until I tried to sign up as a Friend. Can not upload photos; haven't received a response to my email. This seems really smarmy.

What a disaster to create an account on my iPhone. Very old school website…waste of my time.

I thought it was a really good idea. As a solo traveller it would be nice to meet up with locals who can act as a guide and share fun experiences. So I paid for an annual membership.
There were so many problems setting up a profile and getting pictures approved and re-approved. Then when I tried to contact "friends" I got no replies. Nothing! I tried many times, direct to individuals and broadcast to anyone interested. France, Malta, Portugal, Spain. Finally on a trip to Germany I got a reply and thought I was finally going to meet up with someone, only to find when I arrived in Germany that RentAFriend website was down for the whole week.
When the site finally came back up my profile was gone and so were the contacts. I have deleted my account. It's a waste of time!

Scam site. Offers a lot of profiles but after paying, 2/10 people answer saying their address is wrong, the rest don't answer. Can't upload a picture and support hasn't replied in 2 weeks.
