Customer Service Review, not a product review*
I received terrific service by a gentleman named Jasper (WA Perth location). The poor salesman was very busy manning the fort with a continual "onslaught," of customers entering the building. Throughout all this, he managed to give each customer, including myself undivided attention to ensure our queries were resolved. Further to this he provided additional information that greatly benefited my purchasing decisions and I really appreciated it.

Had to contact the company many times as the order only sent out half of the items.. once it was finally all here the back tyre was dead flat & cannot be pumped up due to a presumed puncture? needs to be replaced & i have not even had the chance to ride the bike yet bc of this.
On receiving my bike realised a bracket for my basket was missing.reid responded quickly and with fuss sent my part.I love reid cycles

I bought an electric scooter and after 3 months of minimal use it developed a fault
The process for the repair was not smooth at all as the retailer would say its the distributors problem and the distributors would say its the
retailers problem
Eventually after 1 month the problem was fixed
Fast forward 6 months and I was putting the sccoter in my car and accidentally damaged the front wheels power cable
After doing some research i was told i would need a whole new front wheel as they can not be repaired
There are some video guides on the Reid youtube page on how to replace them so i thought fine lets do it
I managed to get hold of the email contact for who I now know is the head of Reid uk and explained to him my problem
After some back and forth emails he said the wheel would cost me £79.99 "would you like to order one" were his words
I said i would like to order one
Then silence
After 2 weeks i sent another email saying id like to purchase the wheel and could you arrange it
Two days later i received an email from a marketing manager asking me what type of scooter i had
That was strange as i had told them the make and model and sent pictures of the damage
Then the next day i received an email from the distributor saying that they dont sell direct to the public and i need to go back to the store i bought it from or try my local E-bike store
so you can see again this is common practice in this organisation to pass the buck from top to bottom until the customer is left with knowhere to turn
And a £500 lump of metal gathering dust
Im more than a little unhappy
Think twice before buying from this company
they are happy to take your money but if you have an issue you will quickly see they are not fit for purpose
This is 100% my experience
We received a bike that had one defective part in good time to be a timely gift for our four year old daughter. You insisted that the entire bike should be replaced instead of just replacing the defective part. We had to find new packaging and pack it up to your standards then coordinate with a courier we had no contact details for significantly frustrating us. Many times I had tried to contact your customer service centre, I either got no reply to emails or no body would answer my phone calls. Honestly I can’t think of when I have had a worse customer service experience. The new bike was finally fully assembled over a month after my daughter’s birthday making this very expensive birthdaypresent redundant.
The replacement bike didn’t come with the free additional extras, like the bike light etc. but I didn’t bother chasing your company to actually get it because of the extreme difficulties in communication I had experienced. A very strong feeling of why bother was felt by us.
I cannot recommend your company to any of our friends.
Just a terrible experience.
The bottom line is that a local bike shop, not your company was extremely helpful. They showed us how a bike company should handle this short of issue. When I explained to them the difficulties that we were going through with your company they were disgusted.
I literally begged your customer service rep who was handling our case to help get this solved so my daughter could have this for her birthday. But they didn’t care.
Just glad it’s over.
Nearly every thing you want to buy is not in stock. Brought one bike wanted two. Brought elsewhere.
