Email early in the morning!
I forgot to cancel the trial subscription and was billed accordingly. While exploring how to get a refund, I read some poor reviews regarding cancelling and customer service so I was a bit apprehensive to deal with the situation however I needn’t have worried.
I emailed at 08.54 (if that helps) and I received a polite and friendly response with clear instructions on how to proceed within two minutes. I had confirmation of a refund being processed by 09.04 which allowed me to get on with my day without worry.
Funds take 7 - 10 days to be returned, depending on personal bank, which could cause hardship for some however it was on me to cancel in time and read the refund policy before signing up.

Not as good as it used to be
Reface Ai has been on my devices since 2020. I'm a pro user and pay about 20 bucks a year. It used to be amazing and fun tool.
But right now and over the last 6-8 months whatever service they use to have ai check content that users are trying to play with 90% of it is blocked and if you want to get it unblocked you have to message customer service. Their response is always fast and efficient. But even so their learning AI for blocking content doesn't seem to learn. Other basic features have been lost. For example being able to select the section of a video to reface. That feature just disappeared.
So this app went from 5 stars to 2 but I'm giving them 3 stars for the 5 years of fun I've had and their amazing customer service in general.
If they fix their service and put the missing features back in... It's essential app for fun

Cancellation is So Difficult
I think that since I tried to cancel the subscription on March 3, 2026 you have changed your site to address cancellation issues described in your reviews. It was still difficult to maneuver. I only got the cancel subscription prompt once so I sent multiple emails last night hoping it would be canceled. Also, I canceled the subscription through PayPal on March 3 yet they continued to pay you.

June 28, 2026 I purchased the app for $9.03 which I expected. I immediately cancelled and deleted the app after I got a few hairstyles for a new styling of my hair. July 4, I had an unauthorized charge to my credit card for 22.59. Even though I had deleted the app I was charged! This is what is wrong with the internet purchases. You never know who you are purchasing from and it is just another scammer you fell prey to online for an interesting app.

Deleting the app by itself doesn't cancel an active subscription, as subscriptions are managed separately through the platform or purchase method used. Reface is a Scam
I went on the Reface App and paid $7.99 for the hairstyle section. Little did I know I signed up to be charged $19.99 a week. Yes a week. I caught it after they charged me 6 times. They of course would not give me my money back. It's a huge scam. Do not pay for anything on that site. You will be charged and charged.
