Reedsy Reviews

After finishing my first draft and doing one self-edit, I knew I couldn’t face another round alone. That's when I found Reedsy. I was able to hire a wonderful, highly experienced editor who completely transformed my manuscript. Currently, I’m using their platform for my book cover and interior design, and the process has been incredibly smooth. All of their services are highly cost-effective, and the quality is top-notch. I am so incredibly happy I found Reedsy—I don't know where my book would be without them!

When I started writing my book, I had no idea where the journey would lead. Professional editing, publishing, and all the steps in between felt completely unfamiliar.

The people and resources I found through Reedsy helped me turn a collection of scrapbook notes, ideas, and essays into a polished book I'm genuinely proud to put on my shelf, and share with the world online!

If you're a first-time author trying to figure out the publishing process, Reedsy provides both the expertise and support to help bring your vision to life.

Easy to use and asks many useful questions when putting together a brief, which helped the professionals see exactly what I wanted.

I used Reedsy to help find an illustrator for my book cover, and they were amazing, professional, and friendly, and the finished product was beautiful.

Ellie is a talented website designer, supremely patient with a non-techie client, and an all-around delight to work with. I am sorry that she lives so far away or we could be friends. My website clearly shows my work to its best advantage. Just look at my site and you will see what a great job she did. PoetryProseArtByHerschlag.com

I highly recommend Reedsy if you are considering a writing platform. As a newbie to writing my first book, Reedsy has been brilliant, it keeps me on track with my manuscript, and keeps everything simple. I used an amazing developmental Reedsy editor and I am currently having a book cover designed, which I am very excited about.

Reedsy Studio made the formatting and preparation of my first novel straightforward and professional. As a first time author writing in my second language, having a clean, intuitive platform removed one barrier from an already challenging process. The print ready output was exactly what I needed. I would love to see more guidance for self publishing authors navigating ISBN registration and KDP setup directly within the platform.

Reedsy Studio is a great way to format and plan your novel for publlication. It's Google Drive like functionality combined with formating features make Reedsy Studio a great tool for authors.

I love how professional and beautiful my book looks while I'm working in Reedsy. It genuinely makes the whole process motivating. The platform also gave me access to editors I could connect with on a professional. Easy to use for everything.

I wanted a platform to write on. A free one to which I can save my work. Reedsy delivered what I was looking for. It is easy to use. You can organize books, chapters , it has spell checking , which I tend to use because when I write I get lost in my work and tend to misspel words. For any beginner writer , its a great platform to start with. It saves progress , and it can also offer help publishing and editing ones work. For me , at least , its better than writing on Word or other text editors.

Reedsy is an incredible tool. I wouldn't be able to have access to so many people if it wasn't for it. I wrote a short story and worked with an editor for the first time which was very exciting and I hope to continue working with the editors and team at reedsy

Communicating with my chosen professional was simple and quick, with lots of clear instructions. Reedsy provide you with a safe and reliable space to hire people to help, with lots of help and backup should you need it. I didn't, of course and I would highly recommend them.

During my time at Reedys, I gained valuable experience in handling responsibilities, meeting deadlines, and improving problem-solving skills. The company provided good exposure to real-time projects and helped me strengthen my technical and professional abilities. Overall, it was a great place to work and build career experience.

I required an editor for my novella, "The Art of Stealing Chips in the Mizzle". I found the process of searching for and discovering suitable editors to be excellent. I contacted three or four possibilities and found a perfect match. From start to finish, everything was seamless, and the editor was truly excellent, beyond my expectations. Julian
