I passed first time with 2 minors and it’s all down to James. I was a very anxious learner but he was very patient and calm even when I made mistakes. He helped push me to believe in myself and build up my confidence. He is a very positive and encouraging instructor who genuinely cares about helping his students. He breaks things down and explains them very clearly. He ensured that I was fully prepared for the driving test, he has never cancelled a lesson and is very reliable. I had Andrew Cowell as my instructor for about 8 months. There's no doubt that it's because of him that I was able to pass stress-free. Each lesson was tailored to what I needed to work on, so each 2-hour slot was utilised exactly how I wanted it to be.
His attitude to making mistakes made it feel like a true learning experience rather than a scrutinising examiner looking down on me, and it helped me, a usually nervous person, enjoy driving much more than I thought I originally would.
You can tell he truly enjoys teaching and cares for his students and so I would recommend him to any and all learners

Really enjoyed my lessons with Simon Nix, who is very thorough, patient and has a great teaching style. I found that our lessons helped me become an independent driver very naturally and I looked forward to each lesson and getting behind the wheel. I would definitely recommend Simon as an instructor, who helped me go into my driving test confidently and having all my questions answered, I passed first time. Cheers

I originally started driving lessons with an instructor who wasn't with RED Driving School, but I didn't feel like I was making any progress, and it just wasn't the right fit for me. When I decided to look for a new instructor, I found Volodymyr Pelekh, who came highly recommended by the Italian community in Manchester.

Even though Volodymyr had a very busy schedule, he still managed to take me on as a new student, and I'm incredibly grateful that he did. From our very first lesson, we went back to the basics and gradually built my skills and confidence. Thanks to his structured approach, patience, and constant encouragement, I finally started making the progress I had been hoping for.

Volodymyr is a truly exceptional driving instructor. His knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail are second to none, and it's clear that he has extensive experience. He has an incredible ability to identify exactly what needs improving and explain everything in a clear, calm, and easy-to-understand way. Every lesson was well organised, productive, and tailored to my needs, which made a huge difference to my learning.

Shala is an incredibly supportive and encouraging instructor who truly cares about her students. She explains everything with patience and clarity, making driving feel natural and easy to learn.

It’s honestly amazing how quickly I learned to park, complete every manoeuvre and deal with difficult or unexpected situations. She taught me how to react calmly under pressure, stay in control of the car and make safe, sensible decisions in every situation. She doesn’t just teach you how to pass your driving test, she teaches you how to become a confident, responsible and competent driver for life.

I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor and will always be grateful for everything she has taught me. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares, builds your confidence and prepares you not just to pass your test but to drive safely for life, I couldn’t recommend Shala more highly.

Alan Gray has been an absolutely amazing instructor who I would recommend to everyone. He is patient and understanding, and makes you feel at ease as soon as you enter the car. I could not recommend him enough! Thank you again Alan, see you on the road!

Passed my test 3rd attempt with the wonderful Sheena, I couldn’t recommend her enough. She is calm, kind, chatty, patient and puts you at ease during lessons and tests.
She truly is the best instructor anyone can ask for☺️

My instructor was Kingsley Ugwumba and he is amazing. I passed my test the first time!! He made me feel very confident and was very calm and patient as I was learning. He is genuinely the best instructor I have had !

I would highly recommend RED Driving School. My instructor Martins Sukulejs was always punctual, explained things clearly, encouraged me to be a confident driver and helped me pass first time!

My driving instructor was Glen. If you are looking for an instructor who is fun to be around and also a great teacher, Glen is the man. I passed second time and on my second test the lesson beforehand he predicted both where I would do my manoeuvre and the 2nd portion of my test route. He has really great knowledge of all the test areas and is generally just a great person to be around. I would highly recommend him and his services if you are looking to obviously pass your test, gain knowledge of the road and to meet a great friend.

Booked and paid in advance for my son’s lessons in Preston, Lancashire with Amy Hoyle and then all lessons were cancelled by the instructor. Booked more then they were cancelled with no explanation and when you go online the dates and times cancelled are then showing as available again. Requested full refund.

Nicky took on my son with only 2 weeks until his test. Fitting him in with lessons to make sure he was prepared. Nicky explained everything in detail and was always very positive which gave him extra confidence.
Although my son was already pretty good, him passing his test was really down to Nicky’s tuition.
Nicky is a great driving instructor who I would highly recommend.

RED provided a great learning experience, and my instructor, Constantin Marcel Buhlea, was excellent. Helped build my confidence with clear explanations and great support throughout my lessons. I highly recommend him to anyone learning to drive.
