While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Reco filters judgements?

I tried to issue a judgement on reco but reco refused to publish it, "because I did not accept mail from them". I accept mail from everybody, but also routinely click on links not to accept spam mail. If they do this in large scale, then their judgements are not trustworthy.

Thank you for your feedback! We´re sorry for the inconvenience. It happend because you had opted out of getting emails from us previously. This is not anything that happens on a large scale. Have to show your name

It's awkward to give your real name (and mail?) when reviewing something when you had personal contact with them. I get that you need to be reliable but when they send email to you to review something and then you have to use your first name and first letter of last name that does not make sense to me.

I was going to give a bad review but it's too awkward when they will know exactly who you are, so I'm just not going to do that. I assume I am not alone and thus the reviews will not be reliable, but shewed to a higher score.

Let the user use their real name and stuff but just do not let it be public to everyone. Not that difficult.

Hi, and thank you for sharing your thoughts. We understand your concern. The reason we require real names on Reco is to make sure that all reviews come from genuine customers. Reviews are verified through BankID, and the connected name ensures trust and reliability for everyone reading.

We also know that some users would prefer more anonymity, and that’s feedback we take seriously. If you have questions about how your data is displayed, or want us to help adjust how your name appears, you are welcome to contact us at kundtjanst@reco.se.

Our goal is always the same: that everyone can feel safe and that reviews on Reco remain authentic and reliable.

Reco absolutely lacks transparency in…

Reco absolutely lacks transparency in their T&C and enables customers to leave fake reviews without any need to prove the claims made.
Absolutely terrible customer support to communicate with and due to their monopolistic position in Sweden they simply do not care.

Fraudulent Company

All of the negative reviews for reco are correct. It is a fraudulent company. They are only in the business of positive reviews.

I wrote a review about a real estate agent, and they email me saying the company I wrote about requested that they review my "relationship" with them. They said that you can send SMS, emails, or a proof of bid. I sent them the email thread of my correspondence with that estate agent. They emailed back 2 days later saying that only buyers, sellers, or bidders were allowed to leave reviews. I believe they mean that only people that the agent requests a review from can leave a review, because none of them are negative. Even if that's true, that's a terrible policy, because they do a lot more customer interactions that with just sellers, buyers, and bidders. I would never bid on a place with the company in question now, because of the way I was treated.

The worst part is the estate agents brag about how good their customer service reviews are on reco, so it's apparent they are in bed with companies like this. There's no way this should be a legal rating service.
