I should of read the reviews and researched this company first. I originally dealt with these people back in may 2023. Received a email that there was an issue with the sim lock. I confirmed with them that the phone was indeed unlocked and May 31, 2023 was the last I heard of from these people. I went to check their website to see if there was any kind of address or phone number, to find out they have taken down their website as well. I am so mad at myself for allowing myself to fall for this.

May 10 2023 - iPhone 12 Pro Max sent to their facility, inspected, and accepted offer
May 21 2023 - Sent follow up email regarding payment status
May 22 2023 - Ariel (Customer Support) emails stating they'll follow up and get back to me within 24 business hours.
June 2 2023 - Sent another follow up email for an update
June 5 2023 - Ariel: "I will found out and let you know"
June 12 2023 - Sent yet another follow up email
June 15 2023 - Sent yet another follow up email, still no response
June 27 2023 - Sent yet another follow up email, still no response

Closing in on 2 months and this one reputable company has gone dark and are stealing people's phones.

Crazy to see so many people in the same boat with me as of recent. These guys are either ignorant or just flat out chose to ignore my multiple emails for my payment. It’s already been over a month!

THEY STOLE MY IPHONE 14, NEVER SELL TO THIS COMPANY YOU WILL NEVER GET PAID OR YOUR PHONE BACK. EMAILED THEM 6 TIMES AND NOTHING STAY FAR AWAY!!!

Scam! Same as others, after saying sent the check never received it or replied to my email.

SCAMMERS!! STOLE MY PHONE! Seems like this is a common issue with this company. They received my phone and i accepted their low ball offer. Was told id receive payment within 7 business days and never did!! Now they wont reply to any of my emails. I am calling the local police department asap!!

My experience with this iPhone 13 Pro Max order has been a complete nightmare. They received and confirmed the receipt of my phone, but after that, they simply stopped responding to my multiple emails. It has been over a month, and I have neither received payment nor had my phone returned. This level of disregard and lack of communication is completely unacceptable. It's high time we all file a complaint with the local law enforcement agency. Stay away from this company at all costs!

THIS COMPANY DOESNT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR TBH. I SENT THEM MY IPHONE 12 BACK IN THE BEGINNING OF MAY. I RECEIVED AN EMAIL CONFIRMATION STATING THE PHONE WAS RECEIVED 5/12/23. THE OFFERED LESS THAN MY QUOTE. I DECLINED THE OFFER AT FIRST BUT THEN, THEY OFFERED ME MORE ON 5/15/23, SO I ACCEPTED. WAS TOLD I WOULD RECEIVE MY CHECK WITHIN 7 BUSINESS DAYS. IT WASNT MAILED ON TIME, I CONTINUED TO EMAIL THEM AND WAS TOLD THERE WAS A DELAY ON PAYMENTS BECAUSE THEY WERE SO BUSY. MY CHECK WAS FINALLY MAILED ON 5/30/23. I DEPOSITED THE CHECK ON 6/12/2023 AND ON 6/14/2023 SAW THAT THE CHECK WAS RETURNED. I CONTACTED MY BANK AND WAS TOLD IT WAS RETURNED DUE TO INSUFFICIENT FUNDS. IVE BEEN SENDING THIS COMPANY EMAILS EVERYDAY SINCE AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE AT ALL. SO I LOST OUT ON MY MONEY AS WELL AS MY PHONE!!

Absolute Scam! Stolen my phones over $3000. Sold my phones to them in March. Recieved an email claiming they have initialed my paper check in April, however, nothing was received since then. Asked for reissue a echeck but no response since May.

Today is June.15. Looking for legit solution now.

Sent in my iphone 13 mini and only got 1 email saying you’re currently in queue for payment and payments are processed within 7 business daysand got nothing, stay away from this place

If you want your phone stolen use this company. They received my phone on May 2nd. May 5th got an email that payment was being sent. On May 13th I got another email that payment was being sent. I waited till the 27th to contact them because no check ever came in the mail. They emailed me a PDF check the next day but got sent back for insufficient funds after I deposited it. I then contacted them again and was told it would be looked into and sent to management and marked urgent but now they stopped communication with me. BEWARE!

Currently owed $1000+ by Recell. They sent me a check for partial payment and it bounced. They are making no efforts to fix the situation.

Edit: I have received payment for the bounced check after countless emails, currently waiting for payment for 2 other orders. Will update next week when I hear back.

Another update: they stopped responding to me again, threatened to not pay me unless I remove the reviews. I told them I would remove the reviews once I’m paid. I am still owed.

Beware, they will steal your phones and not pay you

I sent my iphone 12 to be evaluated. The phone was inspected and passed inspection. I said I wanted a paper check instead of paypal because of the fees. I was sent an email on May 10th and said that my payment had processed and I should receive my check in 7 business days. Well, 7 business days went by and no check. So, I emailed Aeriel at Recellio and said that I had not received my check and she said that customers were saying that it was taking 10 business days to receive my check in the mail. Well, it has been 10 business days and still no check. So, I emailed again and said that I still have not received my check in the mail and asked for the money to be direct deposited into my checking account. Aeriel said that once you request a paper check you can't get money deposited. So, she said that the payment dept. could send me a paper check on email that I could take a picture of and direct deposit it through my mobile banking app. Well, as of righ now I have not received a paper check or emailed check. I will NEVER do business with these people again and I would not recommend anyone selling their phone to these people. They are scammers and liars.
UPDATE: I finally received a PDF check via email on 6/5/23. I deposited the check into my checking account on 6/9/23. Today, I received a call from my bank saying that the check had bounced. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. BEWARE.

First week of April: They were able to validate that my phone met the criteria for payment in 2-3 business days. But I made a MAJOR MISTAKE choosing the paper check option. I just didn’t want any PayPal service fees for direct deposit so I chose that option.

The 1st Hula-Hoop: The company failed to mail the paper check within the 10 business days. I had to email for updates and they apologized for a delay of some sort and they would mail it again.

The 2nd Hula-Hoop: I finally received it but magically…. MY BANK RETURNED THE CHECK BECAUSE IT BOUNCED….Couldn’t believe it… I had to send another email asking for an explanation for this bounced check. As of today (05/05/23), they sent the money via PAYPAL without fees.

I’m not sure if legal advice can be applied to this scenario, but I think it’s unfair to future/current customer being “punished” for the paper check option….

I sent my Iphone 10 to sell to this company. They were actually very quick about giving me a quote. It was a great quote considering the phone had a cracked back. I accepted it. They said they would send me a check in 7 business days. I never received it. I reached out to them and they sent a grammatically flawed email that amounted to some sob story about how they are backlogged so much they couldn't send a check out in time. They'd send it in one business day. No, they didn't. Now I'm reading reviews that their checks bounce. I should have just sold this on Ebay. I thought I was saving myself the hassle, lol.

UPDATE: They finally sent me a check via email. My bank could not recognize it when I attempted to deposit it online. I tried printing in color but to no avail. To get a direct deposit, I would have to use some sketchy website that my firewall wouldn't even let me open! Do not use this company unless you want a ton of headache!

FINAL UPDATE: Received a paper check in the mail finally. I changed my review to two stars because they finally paid me and the price was not bad. The headache involved in getting my money though makes me not want to recommend them.

Update: 04/11/2023. I have since received my payment of $360.00 about two weeks ago (sometime in beginning of April 2023). The business did pay me and did communicate with me. They are not scam artists, but my review stands because I have concerns about timing of sending payments. If a business says that they will do X Y, or Z, I expect the business to honor its policies as written on their website. Although I received my payment, I was not happy in how long the business took to pay me, which was well beyond the timeline that is provided on their website. My order number is #1675144717. My name is Jordan Smith. I have yet to receive my payment of $360.00 as quoted. I followed all directions, and my phone met the conditions for which it was sold —in good condition, above 85% battery life, etc. They received my iPhone 11 Pro Max on 01/31/2023, and had modified (which I believe is when they concluded the inspection or were suppose to mail me my check via U.S. mail) on 02/13/2023, it’s now been over a month and I have yet to receive my payment. Their website claims that sellers will be paid in seven business days after receiving the phone. I have contacted their company via the telephone number listed on their website three times now and left three VM messages with no call back at present. Also, I’ve emailed the company about the status of my payment three times now, but I still haven’t heard back from the company. If I don’t hear back about the status of my payment this week, I am filing a report with the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Consumer Protection Bureau, as I feel this company is not being honest and engaging in unethical, immoral business practices. I have tried to be patient and give the company the benefit of doubt, but now my patience has been worn thin and my time and money wasted. I will also be sharing my experience with others through several social media platforms to caution sellers from ever doing business with this scam company.

Everything was perfect! Sale was fast and the amount is what I was quoted on the website! I will be back for sure!
