We had our large sea facing windows replaced by Realistic Home Improvements Limited and the ones fitted have made such a difference , great product and lovely team.

After some research of local window and door replacement companies we selected Realistic Home Improvements and found them to be superb in quoting, removal and replacement of our bungalow windows and back door. The triple glazed units have made an improvement in our carbon footprint as we no longer need to use the central heating. Minor snags were quickly resolved by Ryan and the team who work for him, who were polite and cleaned up as they went along. Well done to Realistic for providing a great window and door replacement experience.

In the autumn of 2022 we wanted to replace seven dilapidated wooden windows and two doors at our house and contacted four suppliers, two well-known national companies and two smaller local firms, including Realistic, for a quote. Realistic responded quickly with a visit to understand our requirements and explain the options available to us. They provided a competitive quote, which we accepted, based largely on a recommendation from my parents, who had been very pleased with a conservatory that Realistic had installed a couple of years previously.
The installation of the windows and doors in March 2023 was efficient, to a good standard and our house was left clean and tidy. There was a slight delay finishing one of the doors as the supplier sent the wrong side panel, but Realisitc resolved this without any fuss.
We’ve had a few minor faults occur since the installation. The front door started rubbing against the frame after a few months. We contacted Realistic and they adjusted the door hinges within a few days. At the end of July 2023, during a storm, we had water leaking in through the vent of one of the windows. This was investigated and resolved with five days. Most recently, in July 2025, one of the handles on the front door had started to droop. Again, Realistic sent a new pair of handles through, again within a few days.
Since we first contacted Realistic in October 2022, they have continued to provide us excellent service and good value for money, and we are pleased that we chose them to install our replacement windows and doors.

From the time we enquired about reroofing our oĺd glass conservatory to completion, we had great service from Ryan and his team. The time keeping, communication and work ethics of everyone was first class. We decided to have the whole conservatory replaced in the end, rather than just the roof. We are very pleased with the result. Chris, Mat and John, the fitters, worked very hard every day and left the site clean and tidy. I cannot recommend the Company too highly, and would definitely use them again. Thanks.

I had a warm roof installed on my conservatory by Realistic in March 2024.
I contacted Realistic in January 2024 on the recommendation of a local company who I had previously used.
I have left this review for 16 months before writing as I had previously had a longstanding problem with my existing glass roof from another installer and I wanted to be certain that the new warm roof had resolved my issues, which it has.
After discussing options with Ryan he gave me enough confidence that a warm roof upgrade installed by Realistic would solve my legacy problems and provide a greatly improved all year round living space. Well the answer to this is yes it has and we now love our conservatory and spend many hours a day in it all year round and it looks great both inside and out. Thankyou Realistic.
So back to the installation in March 2024. I couldn't fault it; Chris and Matt and the rest of the installation team were great to work with and very accommodating. It was a pleasure to work with them and they took time to explain the whole process and were very accommodating, courteous and professional.
We did have some teething issues that Jen had sorted in a timely manner and for me good after sales is an important factor.
