WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER
1. Packers who packed my furniture left their bottles of water, rubbish and excess packing paper around the kitchen. While I know they are not cleaners I would have expected them to take their own rubbish out.
2. I cancelled multiple clients and took a day off work to meet the delivery truck. When they started to unload the furniture I quickly noticed that IT WASN’T MY STUFF! They had sent the wrong truck - I was told mine was still in transit!
3. Had to take a second day off work, My employer verbally unhappy with me and more client cancellations.
4. When booking the service I requested that the boxes be unpacked and the boxes removed. This was part of the service I thought I was paying for. This service was not provided. When the company were contacted about this they denied knowing I had requested this, but said they would come and collect the boxes if I unpacked myself.
4. The collection of boxes was still not done 10 weeks later! I have today carted them to the tip myself. I am a woman who works full time and am in my 60s. This whole process was a nightmare from start to finish. In my life time I have made 13 house moves, including 4 overseas locations and this was by far the worst experience I have ever experienced.

We used Ready Movers yesterday and had Daniel and Gui looking after our move. They were absolutely lovely to deal with.
It was a big, long day with tricky access at one end, lots of stairs at the other, and some really heavy and sentimental furniture, but they took so much care with everything. Nothing ever felt rushed—they were thorough, careful and made sure our belongings were looked after.
They were also just genuinely nice guys. They were great with our kids, didn't mind our dog following them around all day, and were happy to help with anything we asked.
Moving house is stressful enough, but Daniel and Gui made the day so much easier. We'd definitely recommend Ready Movers, and if you can request Daniel and Gui, I'd absolutely do it. Thanks again, guys!
