The round fluffy gele is exactly as shown on the picture. The shade of red was precisely what I wanted, and it arrived in a hassle-free flat pack.

I'm giving this a four star because it came in an unexpected fabric - not the usual afro stiff fabric. This one is a stretchy synthetic fabric, similar to lycra.
In pictures it looks like gele, but a few people commented on my "South African look". I'm not sure if that was because I paired the "gele" with a South African outfit and accessories or whether in fact, it looked like a Zulu hat.

If you want an auto-gele with a West African look (aso-oke, damask, etc), then ask the seller to custom design for you, or look elsewhere.
