Excellent service from Jackie in the Baby department
Restored my faith a little in a company that has clearly lost its way in the last few years
Your orders will not arrive!! AVOID
This company has either folder or is a scam.
I have sent around nine emails, four online contact forms through their website, four Facebook messages and left multiple requests for help on their Facebook page. I have paid for multiple boxes and not received a single one!
No responses whatsoever to my many attempts to contact them but they have now turned off comments on their Facebook page and removed the message facility on their page also! The negative comments were quickly adding up so they have hidden them but are still advertising. They are still advertising all over all of their socials and accepting new orders despite multiple people not receiving their purchases. No transparency or updates for their customers as to explanations for delays dating back four months now. I have reported the page to Facebook and requested my bank dispute and reclaim the charges.
Please ask your bank to reclaim all of your charges if you have not received your order(s)- your bank can help! I did not realise this until I asked them to step in. Please do not leave your full card details on their website as a reoccurring card charge either, if the company is as dodgy as it seems then leaving full bank card details is a really bad idea. I have had to cancel and replace my card because of this.
Absolutely disgusting that they are still advertising and have covered up all negative comments on their socials. There are a LOT of unhappy people out there.
Please do not subscribe to this company!
Receiving my box was something I had been looking forward to and was supposed to be a treat for myself, actually felt a bit low after realising I had been scammed.
I have now cancelled my subscription
I have now cancelled my subscription. Nothing ever arrived and when I took issue I was told to chase it up myself. In the time when businesses are struggling, customer service should be a priority for the small business, but it appears that Reposed have little time or consideration for the customer and hence their own survival.
They've disappeared!
I bought a subscription for my Mum, around Mother's Day last year. The ad said it would be delivered for MD but it arrived a week late and the company would not admit their error. After that, great books and fine little treats so I forgave them! Then deathly silence (I had given my email address as Mum does not do tech) for the last few months, Mum commented to me the other day 'I haven't received any of those books for a while'. That's odd I thought. So I googled RinH and discovered they are no longer, and have rebranded. Nice of them to let me know! Usually companies bombard you with unwanted emails. Not so RiH which is great, but it would have been good to have been informed and offered a chance to resubscribe (even if Mum is clearly NOT their demographic!!)
I bought a six month subscription for a…
I bought a six month subscription for a friends special birthday, it seemed the perfect gift. 5 months in, only two of the books have been delivered and then only after me chasing up. I have had to confirm the address and postcode, which I had given correctly. They told me that packages would have been left with neighbours or in a shed, they hadn't . They say that packages are designed to go through the letterbox negating this issue, apparently not. My friend is embarrassed, but then, so am I ! They are slow to respond, and then are defensive, it is my fault for giving the wrong postcode - I didn't ! postman had left with a neighbour - he hadn't. It is exhausting to deal with and I am out of pocket. Please do not use them, it is a waste of money
A bit of balance...
I bought a subscription for my partners birthday in November. Having decided on reposed/reading in heels, I subsequently searched for reviews and found some pretty terrible ones here and almost changed my mind.
People are more inclined to post bad reviews than they are good, which is fair enough, but often it skews the reality of a product/service.
It is only 2 months in, but both boxes have arrived on time and my partner has loved receiving both of them and been very pleased by the book choices and the little extras.
Great service and beautiful gift!
Was a little worried having read the reviews below but have to say the service has been fantastic! I ordered a Sleep Box for my sister, who had just had an operation, as a little pick me up. Being the week before christmas I was concerned the box might be delayed, however the gift was received less than 3 days later and she was absolutely delighted with it. So thankyou for great service and cheering up my sis, will definitely use this company again!
Bad service
I started this subscription around May. At first it was all good but after August I have missed 2 boxes that were paid for. Talking to customer service didn't really help. I got bored of paying for nothing so I cancelled. Don't subscribe to this, just find some better subscription or read book recommendations online and treat yourselves to a book every month.
Defensive and argumentative "customer service"
Initial experience, when the company was called Reading in Heels, was excellent - boxes arrived on time, the books sent were all great choices and mostly new to me, and the treats were equally welcome. However, since the rebrand to Reposed, things have dramatically gone downhill. I'm pretty sure I didn't receive my Sept box and definitely didn't receive the Oct one. I contacted the email address on the website and received an automated response entitled in bold "We've got your email" but subsequently heard nothing. I then contacted the parent company, Ampersand, and got a response straightaway which turned out to be from one of the founders of the company. She proceeded to answer my emails extremely defensively, implying that the lack of response was my fault because I'd failed to notice, hidden at the bottom of the automated response I'd received, a completely different email address which apparently I should have re-sent my email to. So, instead of receiving any help, I then had to resend my original email to the different address, to be told that the missing box was the Royal Mail's fault. It may well have been, but I don't really care - I just wanted a resolution, not argumentative, defensive and unhelpful replies. I've now cancelled my subscription. I did point out that the majority of bad reviews on here are recent ones so something is clearly going wrong, but no one seemed interested - not a way to maintain a successful business!
Terrible customer service
I’ve been a subscriber to Reading in Heels (now Reposed) for quite a while now. The boxes are really lovely but I decided to cancel as I have such a huge stack of books to read now!
October’s box didn’t arrive in the usual timely manner, so I left a comment on Instagram asking when it would come. This was deleted. I’ve since noticed the delete any comments of this nature and don’t bother to respond, how unprofessional!
I suspect this company is just run by one or two people who have a lack of customer service skills. You only have to read the replies to some of these reviews to see that they don’t know how to speak to the people that fund their business.
I had thought I may re-subscribe after I’ve caught up with my books but I don’t think they deserve my custom. I actually had a product missing from my final box, so I contacted them through Instagram messenger and was told they couldn’t help me on there (Why??) and so I’d need to email them, which I’ve done and so far... nothing!
Poor customer service
I placed an order with this company on a Monday for a gift box for a family member. I only ever received a paypal confirmation and no confirmation was sent from the company. By the Friday I hadn't received the order so after difficulty finding a contact for them (they don't have a phone line) I found an email address to ask where the order was.
The company then responded to say they were trying to locate my order. By this time I realised that they hadn't even sent the order so I requested for them to cancel the order. After chasing a refund, they responded on the sunday to say the order had been sent although bizarrely it hadn't!
I only ever received one line responses that I am glad I was able to go through paypal to get my money back. They wouldn't respond to any of my emails to say that they would refund my money.
Such a great concept but needs a lot of improvement and better customer service.
Very disappointed..
An update to our review today in response to the reply from Reading in Heels that they don’t ship overseas...
We rearranged on 3rd October and had it confirmed to us that the box would be delivered to the UK billing address instead and yet the box is still elusive on 18th October. By reading the other bad reviews on this site I would strongly recommend that you review your customer service standard and processes for the future.
I don’t like writing bad reviews but my experience with this company and their customer service is incredibly disappointing. I ordered a summer box on 27th September and initially asked for it to be delivered to my daughter in France which it turns out they have to quote separately for (an additional aspect that is not clear on their website) I then asked on 3rd October for the box to be sent to myself instead which I was told would be done within 3-5 working days. I chased on the 9th and was told ‘not to worry it will be with you any day now’. In my opinion an unacceptable response. It is now the 18th October and I still have not received the Summer Box. We’ve now requested a full refund and definitely will not be using or recommending this company to others. Use at your peril.

Misleading website and poor customer service
I was very disappointed with my experience with this company.
Initially, I was extremely happy with my boxes, but then I moved address, and updated this on the website, receiving a confirmation message that this was successful. My subsequent box was still shipped to my previous address. This happened the following month too, despite attempting to the change the address again.
I contacted the company directly about this, and received a curt response to the effect that customers are expected to contact them directly about a change of address. I mean, what is the point of having the option on the 'my account' section of the website??
As I had therefore lost two months worth of boxes (which I have paid for), I decided I didn't want to continue with the subscription, and cancelled it through the button on 'my account'. A confirmation message appeared and I thought all was well.
This month I received a confirmation email that my order was being processed, despite believing it had been cancelled, and money was taken out of my account.
I immediately contacted the company (yes, slightly infuriated) and explained the situation, stating that I expected the cancellation to be carried out, and the money for this month to be refunded.
I have now received a refund, but they didn't even deign to reply to my email. It's simply terrible customer service ruining what could have been a great product.
I would have considered going back when I was in a position to do so, but now dread dealing with a company who can't even reply or apologise for what I assumed was a mistake.

I bought a subscription for a gift which hasn't been recieved. I can't log into my account. The forgot password emails aren't appearing in my inbox. I have emailed them and contacted directly with no reply. I am so cross. There is no telephone number. And I paid upfront for the three months. I see they have changed name wonder is this is why? Nightmare don't waste your money.

I don’t like to leave bad reviews but…
I don’t like to leave bad reviews but my experience with RIH recently has pushed me to the limit. I ordered a special summer box (expensive at £65 but I’ve always enjoyed their boxes). Several weeks passed and no box and no emails. Contacted customer services and was promised it would be looked into - then nothing.
It was only when I contacted through social media that I got a response but still no summer box.
I arrived back from my holiday today to find my box had been thrown over my fence and had sat out in the rain whilst I was away - I now have a very wet box of books. Whilst I appreciate that RIH have no control over their couriers it’s the final act of what has been a nightmare process from the minute they had my money!

Customer service is appalling
Customer service is appalling. I bought a 3mth subscription as a gift for a family member. She received 1mth and then was told there was a problem with payment! Embarrassed I contacted PayPal who confirmed they had taken the money. Unsurprisingly they will not reply or answer my emails, and i have been left having paid for a gift that was never recieved. Do not go near this company !

Take money, don’t send goods
In response to the reply. My emails were responded to after I posted this. Also Customers aren’t aware that if a payment fails and you pay in the next few days, the team aren’t made aware of that payment. Which is just inconvenient and leads to issues like this.

Absolutely delightful delivery!
Absolutely delightful delivery of a monthly novel and gorgeous treats.
As a keen reader and a school library manager I cannot advocate enough just how brilliant RiH is.
It is super to receive a book every month but the treats just enhance the delivery.
Great variety of books (include novels I would not necessarily choose) but just love!
I have gifted a subscription for a 21st Birthday and my friend also subscribed.
It’s a must!
Be very wary of engaging with this company - (pls read edited review following response from RIH)
Edited following reply for RIH: to clarify the accusations made by RIH, I have never contacted RIH through any platform other than by email, I do not use social media, and emails prove that I have in no way been abusive towards anyone. This is untrue accusation results from Trustpilot refusing to delete my comments as RIH requested. I have posted one other review of RIH, not numerous reviews, and my review is a reflection of my experiences with RIH. My address was never incorrectly given and no replacement boxes were ever requested or received, as this was not the issue I had. A simple google search will give you information on the status of the company. I will no longer engage with RIH, and advise caution to those who do. This company really needs to improve their customer service, which for me has been a truely negative experience
Be wary -
I have previously posted about my experiences with Reading in Heels, where subscriptions did not arrive and issues were dealt with very poorly by customer services. I was very happy with the books and treats, but cancelled my subscription as a result and tried buying the boxes one month at a time. I have had no issues since changing to this, other than having to remember each month. So I was considering starting a new subscription and did some research to see whether the problems people reported have been resolved and whether customer service has improved. Reviews here are still mixed and raised concerns for me regarding the status of the company, another red flag about subscriptions with this company. For anyone considering joining I’d recommend month by month purchases, to ensure you get the boxes you pay for which are a lovely treat

Book lovers delight
I've signed up to this subscription service and after enjoying it so much a colleague signed up for it, who then enjoyed it so much another colleague signed up for it! There are now 4 of us in the office who subscribe.
The books vary from ones I've loved to ones that aren't really my cup of tea but that's what I like. It gets you out of your reading comfort zone and helps you discover something different. The treats are amazing too.
I've only once not had a box arrive and I emailed their team and gave all my details and a 2 weeks later I had another box. There were two bank holidays in a short period of time which is why I think the replacement took 2 weeks.
This company is professional and the service is amazing. Plus you get an online book club through Facebook which is awesome. You get to discuss the books with people who have recently read them.
