My portfolio has been managed very successfully by Rathbones & my account manager, James Mulholland has provided me with regular updates & phone conversations to discuss the status of my stocks/shares.

Expert financial advice and support with very prompt responses to communications delivered by knowledgeable, friendly and courteous personnel, namely Angus Kerr supported by Julie Smith and Amy McCulloch.

Today I had a very positive annual meeting with my account manager Brian Quigley. Brian is very pleasant and professional and takes the time to explain everything to me in a way I can understand. We were with Russell Crichton at Spiers and Jeffrey for some years before moving to Stephen Hall at Rathbones on Russell's retirement. Fortunately Russell suggested Stephen as our new fund manager and we could't have been luckier with his choice. I have invested in various Scottish investment companies for some 40 years. I am a great believer in that it is the individuals that make these investments successful more so than the companies themselves. He has always taken extra efforts to explain mum's investments and how these are maturing and how to use her funds wisely so that mum can stay in her own home and receive the care that she needs at home. This has been a very positive experience and a learning curve for me.
