Good NFT website
I’ve been with Rarible for one crypto cycle now (4 years), and never had a problem with them. Never had a reason to contact them for help either, but I do see many complaints about technical issues among others, so it’s probably best to read through those too in order to determine whether or not Rarible is the right fit for you.
Otherwise I remember all the problems I had when starting out with NFTs. Just creating a crypto wallet and then figuring out how to transfer funds was very nerve-wracking. Crypto’s a whole new ballgame, and along with it, there’s a fairly steep learning curve. Not a long steep curve mind you, more like a handful of very important things you need to know before minting (and yes, the term “minting” is part of that education).
Once my wallet was set up, it was however very straightforward to set up shop on Rarible. I even sent them an email for verification, and they were happy to oblige. I started by submitting a modest batch of personal photos & artwork, but at the time around 3-4 years ago, ETH gas fees were very expensive.
I also “shopped around” with other NFT websites, but not much luck to be honest selling my NFTs. I consider that to be my fault though, it’s not Rarible’s job to promote my work. Plus I was happy to see one of two NFTs I sold came from Rarible, and it was the more expensive one. I’d like to think my Verified status helped for that.
Then at some point crypto winter hit. Think of when BTC crashed to 16k. I lost interest in NFTs for a while, but that has changed for the better lately. For all the time my Rarible account spent sleeping, it was still there for me to pick up on and start minting again.
Not that I sold anything, I haven’t even listed any of my new NFTs for sale. But ETH gas fees are a lot more reasonable now, and I am more interested in creating NFTs these days for the sake of etching my images & research onto the blockchain.
Something I believe many people overlook, but for example, let’s take AI generated text & images. To the best of my knowledge, that is not eligible for copyright, so in theory anyone could take someone else’s AI art and claim it as their own. There’s a huge grey area of uncertainty here that makes me feel uncomfortable, especially when AI helps to produce something truly unique.
However, minting AI artwork creates an immutable record on the blockchain. It’s the next best thing to copyright protection as far as I see it at this moment in time. And again, I have to thank Rarible as an intermediary of sorts allowing me to mint my NFTs on the blockchain. It gives me a lot more peace of mind.

SCAMM DONT EVER GO TO
They told me that I had to submit digital arts on a platform called rarible.net and every day I would get a round of arts (2 rounds of 25) to continue and earn a commision until one day I earned a significant amount of money but they asked me to top up my account so I would earn more which I did and now they won’t give me my money back they promised it would be the last amount I would have to top up since I topped up around 200£ then nearly £1000 and then they told me I have to top up since£3000 I told them I didn’t want too and that I just wanted my money back but they refused to give it back claiming that I had to make this deposit im nearly broke because of this and I really need help
Rarible on Polygon Net. – Missing key functionalities
While Rarible is a promising platform, the experience on the Polygon network is significantly lacking. Crucial features, such as the ability to create custom contracts or attach files (like PDFs) to NFTs, are unavailable. Furthermore, metadata cannot be frozen at the time of creation, which is unacceptable when paying the full creation and transaction fees upfront.
The support system is overly complicated, with long response times and unclear information regarding features like the "coming soon" options. Improvements in communication and functionality would make Rarible much more appealing, especially for professional users.
FIX IT!
Trash website, having to use only because opensea restricted my country, dont shows my created NFT, metadata dont listed for 8 hours. Fix it, i make demand.
so to take something off the market…
so to take something off the market they charge you almost 1000 dollars wth this whole gas fee stuff is bs
Is this really a lazy minting site ???
Is this really a lazy minting site ???, there should be no gas payments when an artist sells their art, I sold my NFT and had to pay a gas fee of 0.23 eth, this gas fee should be charged to the buyer, not the seller , and may I say this site smells like a scam
Not Worth Messing with
Yes, you can create NFT listing for free. But the real catch, they don't tell you, that the seller is stuck with the gas fee, which can be $200 or more. I do not call this lazy minting, I call it ripping people off. The whole crypto market is about scamming people, and this one of them. Plus, they are tied in with OpenSea, and nothing is free with OpenSea since they are not offering lazy minting either, you now have to pay them as well. If want to sell your artwork online, better stay away from the NFT, and the crypto market, bunch of thiefs. Don't expect to get rich from these people, the fees are high.
Bad Customer Service
Horrible customer service, doesn’t respond too well on your inquiries and complaints and is not on the side of offering help or solutions but pointing that aside you have evidence in your side, you are in the wrong and all is as it should be.
Zero rating to Rarible
If there is a value of 0 that is what the company should get. Complete scammers. Do was you time putting money it to this company as the moment you want to withdraw they want a verification fee, in my case is was $101,000 on a withdrawal of $500,000. Once I made that payment the sent a wire transfered that is now tied up in another financial institution that now requires $83,000 to release my own funds, I have 15 to raise $83000.
Or they take over all my funds which is over $1,083,994.
Scam
I'm putting this here because I think a lot of these reviews have to do with the rarible-web3 platform and I want to ensure everyone sees this review as well. The above mentioned platform is a fake cryptocurrency site and my friend lost a LOT of money to these thieves. Do NOT fall for it as they are very convincing!
Is Rarible an honest company? I can provide PROOF to anyone who inquires that they have scammed and robbed me!
I thought I'd "try" doing business with Rarible, a few days ago when I met an individual on facebook who told me she wanted to mint my art and pay me through this method. I realized I was at my own risk, my choice to do this and my responsibility for the outcome.
However, this company Rarible.com is supposedly a reputable, well known company that is NOT known for fraud, scams, theft or illegal business practices.
After paying all gas and minting fees, Rarible promised to pay me $45,970 for a purchase. BUt first I had to pay them 10%...They do not tell me I need to pay for anything more in order to have my money in ETH form in Metamask Wallet. THEN, after I pay it all of, they suddenly tell me I have to pay $5007 for activation fee. I pay and pay and pay this debt even though I run up against a brick wall every time I make a payment.....
As soon as I pay it off the FIRST time, they tell me, due to a "blockchain" the money was not received, even though I've been charged $3200 for this. And I have to start all over again. I may have been VERY STUPID to trust THIS at this point....But I was in constant contact with a buyer who does business with Rarible and who KEPT TELLING ME they will NOT scam me...and they WILL PAY me what they owe me AS SOON as I pay off my debt
SO, TODAY I paid off my debt IN FULL. Rarible even ACKNOWLEDGED it in EMAIL correspondence....And then SUDDENLY, they declare that they CANNOT pay me what they owe me. And that I OWE THEM $7000 for A TECHNICAL ISSUE on THEIR END that is PREVENTING them from PAYING ME
NO! I will NOT do that....
They need to pay me $45,970 that they owe me PLUS the $3200 I gave them FOR NOTHING.... PLUS they need to pay for THEIR OWN technical issue which is ZERO percent MY FAULT and ZERO percent MY RESPONSIBILITY!!!!
So I guess I was a gullible idiot to trust them and they took me to the cleaners! Lesson learned! However, even IF I can't collect this money from them, they need to be INVESTIGATED and HELD ACCOUNTABLE for what they did. They MUST accept the CONSEQUENCES of THEIR ACTIONS and should NOT have the PRIVILEGE of doing NFT Trade when they are dishonest and have STOLEN from me!
The only contact I have for them is their email address. No phone number nor human being's contact name in order to hold them accountable. However I have proof of email correspondence. Please if ANYONE wants to discuss the matter with me, I am more than willing to provide proof or answer ANYTHING in order to establish credibility. I DON'T think this company can get away with what they have done to me.

Sketchy
They changed my wallet address so I could not log in. I submitted a 'ticket' and they gave me an other wallet address -VERY SKETCHY. Then after waiting for a few days for response, my entire profile, contents and nft was wiped out.
Update; within minutes after I threatened them, my info miraculously re-appeared. However, I could only login with chrome, which I loathe.
I give them one more star, but no more, because they are still sketchy and untrustworthy
