Edited Review, after Trustpilot removing original, for reasons unknown and unexplained to me. (Zero correspondence)

I arrived home on the 24th December 2019, at roughly 4 pm, to a boarded up front downstairs window.

Upon ringing the police, shortly after my arrival home, to this scene, on Christmas Eve, an officer arrived within an hour.

He wasn't at the scene, the previous night 23rd December (Date of Incident), and only had brief information to pass on. The incident apparently occurred circa 9/10 pm.

Low and behold, I received a letter today (Sat4th Jan) dated 31st December, from Rapid Secure, stating I have 14 days to Pay £294, with a £12.25 discount, if I pay within 7 days.

As others have mentioned, the materials can be purchased from B&Q from around £10. A beam of wood, cut in half, a wooden board and six long screws.

Apparently the Call out service claiming available 24 hrs 365 days a year (Don't answer the phone on Saturdays) which is broken down as one of the fees.

So after subtracting the cost of materials circa £10, I'm requested to Pay around £284, for someone to drive around the corner and wedge two beams of wood in my window frame, then screw in a board on the outside side, where anybody can easily use a Philips screwdriver from the outside, to remove them again!

This is news to me, as the cost of Labour per hour, doesn't add up to any joiner I have ever hired!

Why should anyone be made to feel like they're the ones who've committed a crime when a crime has been committed to them.

Action needs taking against this exploitative company, cashing in on people's misfortune.

And even more disgusting, how our very own security forces are associated with them after we pay our hard-earned Taxes for their service.

I wish I could remember the locksmiths name because he was absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend and use this service again

Rapid Secure attended my property within 20 minutes of receiving the call out and made it secure.

The appointment was arranged by the police after a burglary.
The fitter turned up within an hour and took 10 minutes to complete the repair to my door
Happy to recommend.

I thought I needed a full door replacement, but Anthony came and fixed the issue instead. He did an excellent job! Incredibly quick, professional, and efficient. Really pleased with the service and would highly recommend him.

Fast response and deal with my matter effectively and securely. Good costumers service and thay make sure they meet your needs.

If I could I'd give a minus 5 star. Police advised me to change a lock on domestic abuse case without telling me that I have to pay 240£ for this service. 4 months later every single day it's harder and harder to unlock the door. I've called to this company and I asked to fix the lock which they installed in my door and a woman , which responded to my call was extremely rude, she didn't let me speak, she threatened me to end the call - how it'spossible such service when you're charging for something what isn't even lasting. Also I've asked why my old lock wasn't left at home and she said that this lock was broken and they not taking old locks after replacement - it's absolutely lie! So they took my absolutely perfect lock eith them and installed the rubbish for 240 £. Avoid in any costs any contact with this company - save your money and mental health. I have no idea HOW legally police can use this company?!

Would give 0 stars if it was an option. Absolutely appalling experience with this company. LIED to not once but twice by two different members of staff to confirm a property was secure when it wasn't. Called to complain and was told that they've re-attended to complete the job today - as if I should be grateful for this. Their lies, left our property exposed and took away any opportunity for us to put further measures in place to secure our property - unethical company, shocking customer service, no concern about your property and zero after care service.

Excellent emergency service

Don't be conned by them. Don't listen to them and don't believe a word they say. To anyone who works for them, think about what you are doing. If you are strong enough to say no these these guys do so. I wasn't and that's what they rely on. They are bullies and they don't deserve a star

My property was damaged police called rapid secure for me work was quick property secured I think it was expensive £210 +vat for one window but what can you do

Quick response, made the house secure.

Simple board up the police said was free at the time. Then got a invoice saying as the police did not break it. It is not free.
It will be paid but next time i am telling the police no as it was not worth it. Insurance could have done better.

Getting a trades person at an hours notice at midnight on a Friday night is nothing short of a miracle, and a huge relief when you urgently need your property securing. Pricing very reasonable given the extreme circumstances, 10 out of 10 for value and service!

Really impressed with Rapid Secure. They sorted me out with a quick response right when I needed it. The temporary locks they put in feel solid and totally secure, which was a huge relief.
Communication was spot on—no chasing them for updates—and the payment process was a breeze. Definitely made a stressful situation much easier. Thanks again
