so slow its not true
went to nuneaton ordered a sheet of metal paid and was told it would be half hour, i went and done my shopping returned three quarters of a hour later and then had to wait another half hour. before they moved they were great not they are lucky to get one star

Good supplier. Delivery contractor not so much.
Placed another small order with Rapid Metals - all prep'd and ready to go just a few days later.
Delivery contractor then seemed to mislay and re-find the package before delivering it a day later than they indicated. The driver simply dropped it on my path and walked away....
Might be time for RM, (a good supplier in my experience!), to review their delivery contractor's performance.

Your service was excellent but let down…
Your service was excellent but let down by the postal arrangement. I placed the order Friday about 14.00, within an hour or so you confirmed dispatch. I accept there was a weekend in the way but I expected delivery Tuesday. It arrived today Thursday.

Slow dispatch
We placed an order with three items on the order one of which was very urgent. It turned out that another of the items was out of stock and so rapid Metals held the entire order waiting for the third item to come into stock.

We would usually wait for the entire order to be ready to send together, rather than splitting it, unless it was an extended lead time on a certain product.
