Raise stole $200 from me. Unfortunately, this company has unethical and fraudulent practices. They have no customer support phone number and they claim Live Chat but I have never successfully used it.

Recently, I listed a ~$200 Best Buy gift card to be sold by Raise after it was 'approved' by their screening process. Two days later, it was sold and I was sent a congratulations email. Great!

Not so fast, a day after it sold they said there were no funds on the card and that they checked (after they approved it through the initial process).

I called Best Buy, and they informed me that the balance was cleared 10 minutes after it was sold on Raise and was used to purchase an Apple Watch in a state I don't live in. I presented this evidence to Raise in the 4th support ticket and this time they didn't even respond.

I filed a police report for the theft and will be pursuing all legal action possible. I do not recommend transacting with this company.

Raise has been a horrible experience. I filed a complaint with the BBB after Raise suspended my account, coincidentally, right after the gift cards I had posted sold. I tried to withdraw the funds and my account was suspended without any explanation or communication. They don't have a real customer service phone number (it's an answering machine) and their live support is a bot. I have emailed them and posted on Facebook only to receive no response.

My experience with Raise has been great and I exciting because I saved money. I purchased great gifts from outstanding vendors. I have made several mistakes and your customer service has helped me correct. Although I believe a service program (update) can be made more efficient to make corrections immediately. Thank You

I have been using Raise for the past several years and the experience has always been pretty seamless. I’ve had maybe one issue with a gift card and Raise took care of it right away. I often recommend this service people.

Raise makes it easy to save money at so many locations. You can choose if you want an instant gift card or a physical. If it’s electronic it becomes available in a few minutes.

I really enjoy being able to shop at Raise. With a couple exceptions that happened a really long time ago, I've always had a good and trustworthy experience. About the most annoying thing is that every now and then, I'm forced to sign in to do a simple search (such as to find out whether any gift cards exist for a particular company). This is inconsistent, though, and I'm not sure why it happens. I shouldn't have to sign in (with verification, no less) just to do a search! Apart from that, Raise is pretty good. Oh - I should also say that the few times I've had to get in touch with their customer service, it was really hit and miss. So buy carefully, in order to avoid having to try to get in touch to resolve anything!

I have always received great customer service with Raise, as well as a total of $1K in savings over the years. Raise is my go to for nights out, back to school shopping, gifts for any occasion, and for days that I just want to treat myself!

Web site is great - easy to navigate and purchase. I appreciate being able to see all the places the gift card can be used, aside from the specific store I'm buying for (e.g., Gap works at Banana Republic).

I love Raise and have been a customer for many years. Before I make any purchase from online retailers, I check and see if Raise has a deal and they usually do! I've saved hundreds of dollars at Gap, Old Navy and Lands End, but I've also saved on Fandango movie tickets and oodles of restaurants. Raise is also perfect for traveling and I try to stock up on restaurant gift cards in the area we're traveling to. I love that they not only have discounted gift cards but they also offer Raise cash incentives so you can get the exact amount you need. Raise is a money saving no-brainer for me!
