Amazing customer service from Craig and Sasha

Having rented out and subsequently sold our house in Cambridge, I particularly wanted to thank Craig McCallum in Lettings for being helpful beyond the call of duty in solving prior issues despite the house no longer under his property management portfolio. Also a very special mention to Sasha McNally in sales who was so responsive to all my queries and went out of her way to help with meter readings. Both made the sales process so much less stressful and I am enormously grateful for their willingness to help out. Thank you!

Valued and kept informed. Personalised service.

From our first interaction with RAH we have no complaints. Jason met us to discuss how they would market the property we had for sale. He then introduced us to Drew who was assigned to oversee our sale. We were kept informed every step of the way and felt we had a personalised service throughout. We felt valued as a customer and my many questions were always responded to promptly. The sale completed on time. Drew helped us to arrange house clearance and also provided local knowledge for us, as we are not from the area, and were selling the house due to unforeseen circumstances. Based on our experience, we would recommend RAH.

Avoid at all costs

The worst estate agents weve dealt with whilst buying a house in Cambridge.
They put us through a nightmare bidding war causing so much distress! promised theyd keep us updated as to progress and outcomes then told us sorry there was someone who bid way more, refused to tell us any further information what so ever. We accepted and moved on, fast forward few months we saw the house got sold at way below our offer! Absolutely fuming. They refuse to give any information and operate so disingenuously. It feels like a really fake relationship, absolutely dreadful people all around with zero care. AVOID whether you're buying or selling.

Inconsiderate to potential tenants

We considered renting through RAH but had a dreadful experience as potential tenants. They were difficult to get ahold of, with many days and even weeks between emails and frequent phone chasing. They are not on the side of tenants, clearly.

Dissipointing experience

We recently picked up the keys for a rented property and were shocked at the state it was left in – extremely dirty and clearly not checked before being handed over. When we raised this with the agency and showed photos, we were told, “he’s a new customer, we don’t check the properties before we hand them in.” To me, that seems like a huge gamble, especially when dealing with a landlord they’ve never worked with before.

The manager arranged for a cleaning company, but the job they did was dreadful. Leaks that everyone was aware of but never mentioned, faeces left in the toilet, dog hair literally everywhere, and just dirt and grime throughout the property. When I pointed this out with photos, the response I got was that sending the cleaners in at all was “an act of goodwill.”

I found that shocking – at no point did the manager stand up for us as tenants or do anything genuinely helpful to resolve the situation.

This whole experience has left us with a really poor impression of the agency. I cannot wait until our tenancy is up and we can move out, and I certainly won’t be using them again in the future.

Excellent experience as a tenant

Excellent experience as a tenant. James Travers was particularly great as my property manager whilst I was living in my rental property. He was always considerate and took a lot of time to help whenever I needed it.

RAH were the estate agent for both my…

RAH were the estate agent for both my purchase and sale, overall their staff seemed friendly and quick through the process but I cannot give more than 3 stars for the absolutely awful recommendation they made for a law firm called HCR Law. This firm slowed down the process by months, just running up the bill for the buyers and frustrating everybody in the chain. It took nearly 7 months to sell a new build flat (of which other flats in the same estate sold without issue in the meantime). I would use RAH again, but I would never accept a recommendation for a solicitor from them, nor would I accept an offer without knowing who the buyers solicitor was and simply reading some reviews.

Avoid for Property Sales at All costs When it comes to selling your property…

When it comes to selling your property with RAH it is an ongoing anxiety and stress causing nightmare ..they take your property off market with incompetent potential buyers offers and let them take time wasting ages before they drop out. They seem to be totally incompetent time wasting nincampoops and create no pressure on the buyers, disregarding the seller they should be representing. Bad disappointing experience with such arrogant incompetent personnel. If only Nick and Simon Redmayne were still around it would be likethe good old team they represented. Now arrogant self important incompetent sales staff just mismanage everything

Great service for me as a seller

All the staff were extremely helpful and professional, the brochure presented the property accurately and well, and they managed to sell it twice within a short timescale when the first buyers withdrew.

STILL THEY CONTINUE TO SCAM THEIR…

STILL THEY CONTINUE TO SCAM THEIR TENANTS OUT OF £300!
Would give NO stars if could as this company for tenants when leaving is worst of the worst. Try everything to keep ALL your deposit and has a ‘thing’ going on with a cleaning company who they insist they use after tenants have vacated regardless that the tenants have paid themselves for a professional end of tenancy clean AND PROVIDING a certificate. And even lie saying did not receive certificates etc!
Just one of their many dishonest tactics to try not only keep all your deposit but try to charge you even more!
Should be struck OFF!

Extremely disappointing service

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Redmayne, Alnold and Harris. Their communication was abysmal; we were often left in the dark about important updates regarding our property. They arranged viewings without informing us, causing significant inconvenience. The final straw was when they inexplicably removed our property from the market without it being let agreed. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of transparency is unacceptable. I would not recommend them to anyone at all!

I was purchasing a house which was…

I was purchasing a house which was moving very slowly through the solicitors. I called Redmayne and spoke to Tracey who was assigned this purchase to manage.
She was great throughout the whole thing, making sure both parties were moving forward. Really appreciated the regular updates and check ins (even when there was no news, it was good to know the latest).
If I were to sell again, I will definitely be asking for Tracey!!

Couldn't have asked for more help

Couldn't have asked for more help and support when we sold our house in Cambridge. It was a probate sale so quite protracted but we had plenty of viewings and offers and the advice on offer was valuable and useful. Overall, a very positive experience, with fees considerably lower than with the other agents we invited to 'tender'. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

A very positive experience

My husband and I have just completed a purchase and were assisted initially by Tamsin and then by Jane, at RAH Cambridge. They were both very helpful throughout the whole process, going the extra length whenever necessary. We recommend their services without hesitation.

This company is just the worst for tenants

This company is just the worst. My partner and I travelled from Leeds to Cambridgeshire to view one of their properties as prospective tenants - I had explained that we would be travelling 4 hours and would have to stay overnight in order to attend our viewing, so if there were any issues to please let us know with at least 24 hours notice so that we didn’t have to do an 8 hour round trip for nothing. I was assured that all would be fine, and I received a call at 9am on the morning of the viewing to confirm. So far so good. However, when we arrived at the property, we were not met with an agent but instead another prospective viewer, who told us that they had mislaid the keys and were running a bit behind. She also mentioned it was the 3rd time that it had happened that week (we were told that there were absolutely no viewings previous to ours, which was a blatant lie). We decided to walk around the area to pass the time, however when we got back there was a large crowd of other prospective tenants, and finally, the estate agent! The estate agent told us that they couldn’t get hold of the person who had the keys as they had ‘gone out for the day’ and they couldn’t get in touch, so they would have to move the viewing to the following day. I was naturally quite cross as I explained we had travelled a long way, booked off work to view, and payed for an overnight stay - and we had been assured that nothing would happen with the viewing with less than 24 hours notice. Other prospective tenants were asking why she could not just call the key-keeper, and she said she had to ‘go home early’ as she’s finished for the day. It was 2pm. We were advised to let a relative or work colleague view the property for us (we have no family or colleagues in the area as we explained). We were then told we would be provided with a video viewing, which never materialised. I am so disappointed with this company, complete disrespect for tenants and new customers. Avoid avoid avoid
